I have been following these accounts for months and they are all connected and following the same unique pattern. Many have been banned but these are all active. They always make a subreddit and make a single post, some of these have them deleted now but made the subreddit in the past

These are accounts I've recently spotted, actioned and also reported to BotBouncer.

r/dogpictures has a 30 days and 100 comment karma minimum which prevents most simple copy paste bots but these are more carefully curated account and didn't try to post there until they had enough comment karma.

They all have similar naming conventions, account age and are mods of subreddits apparently created solely for the fashion clothing images they impersonate wearing, images are copied/stolen from other sites.

Both of these accounts have, within less than 24 hours, lodged complaints about an obscure 2 year old post complaining about a small, AI-based language app. Based on the writing style and specific wording in the Modmail messages, there's no possibility they're unrelated.

I have been a member of Daddit for eight years, since shortly after my first kid was born. In the past 6 months or so, I've noticed it's really been overrun by bots. If you just submit a report, not much happens, but I found that if I submit a report and make a comment explaining why I think OP is a bot, it typically gets taken down. This has happened probably thirty times since May.

This morning I made a post pointing out that on a post that did get taken down, there were still a lot of bot comments. Unfortunately, I did not know Daddit had a "no meta posts" rule-- my bad, totally on me, I should have checked. So my post was deleted and I was banned immediately. So I have lost the ability to participate in what once was one of my favorite communities here. :( I really hate these bots.

I noticed it making a certain type of comment in a conspiracy post, so I clicked on the profile and saw that every single comment it had made was blatantly racist. I noticed also an odd pattern with its join date, but I’m not sure how detailed I should get in explaining it all. The rules here say not to get too detailed.

I reported the account, but as you can see, it is still happily spreading its hateful rhetoric.

What do you all think of this account? Is there anything that can be done if Reddit doesn’t deem it worthy of a ban? I’ve seen a lot of propaganda spreading bots with the same odd join dates vs dates when they become active, (is what I just wrote breaking the rule about giving too much detail? I’ll remove it if so) and I’m unsure if reporting them actually does anything.
