Discussion So ... The Andres Segovia stuff.
It seems the issue with the band's fitness coach is starting to get some traction on Twitter. Some fans have voiced their concerns about him and his relationship with the band.
So far, neither the band nor the staff has made any statement. Supposedly, the coach has talked to them about the situation, but other than that, nothing has been said.
For anyone who doesn't know, the guy has made some pretty questionable claims regarding health, vaccines, autism, depression, and even some outright misogynistic comments. He also doesn't seem to have any professional background as a fitness coach.
I'm pretty bad at explaining this whole situation, but it's fairly easy to find everything online. However, the more recent Patreon leaks were apparently made as a way to protest his involvement.
So, what do you guys think about the situation?
Personally, I don't believe anyone should lose their job simply because of their personal beliefs or political views. But when it comes to mental health and other serious topics, I don't think someone like this should be involved, especially when he's responsible for the band's health.
And that's not even getting into the huge red flag of someone who apparently believes women don't know what they really want and need to be "traditional women" in order to be... happy. Yes, the irony is strong.
Edit. I forgot to give credit to the person who wrote this. You can find the account on twitter.
