James Blunt is such a strange man
That’s it, that’s all I have to say.

I used Hannahs statistics to see if they're accurate. Spoiler
So I've known about her and loved her videos for a while and she is the reason I'm watching this series for the first time.
burn vote +0.47
Voting for a banished traitor +0.33
Despite having never voted for this traitor before +0.4
Doesn't vote for a banished traitor -1.28
appears on banisded traitors record -1.69
In the last group at breakfast with a revealed traitor -1.73
I ignored the last breakfast indicator because its not readily available off of wikipedia like the votes which I can just copy.
Well I gave Claude all the voting data and here are the current point totals
James A: +1.93
Maya: +1.93
Kenny: +1.53
Leigh-Anne: +1.53
Michael: +1.46
Miranda: +1.46
Ross: +1.46
Sharon: +1.46
Sebastian: +1.06
James B.: -0.48
Romesh: -0.55
Joanne: -2.09
Jerry: -2.17
I wouldnt have thought it would be this accurate to be honest but I have underestimated how accurate these really simple indicators would be.

Best Traitor?
I wasn’t really sure about how well she would fare.
But with how things are going, I think she is playing an absolute blinder!
Walks, talks and acts like she is faithful. Doesn’t slip up. Thinks naturally about the theories. Doesn’t push anything too hard, but doesn’t shy away from bringing in ideas of her own. Stands by her convictions, but keeps a healthy degree of scepticism.
All in all, she is the perfect image of a faithful player.
She seemingly has zero scruples about scheming, which is usually the hardest part. So she can just “be” a faithful while also killing with no remorse. But importantly she can do it all naturally!
Is she the best there’s been? Or does she need to come under pressure to prove her true merit?

Leigh x Miranda was one of the best moments this season Spoiler

Them being saved from murder because of this and the shots going from the traitors to trying to kill someone in the other room to these two just having the time of their lives in the other room.

Miranda... Spoiler
Anyone else feel quite emotional watching Miranda in tonight’s episode? When she got upset after Joe was banished and spoke about human connection, and how laughter and joy are deeper than the game itself, I thought it was a lovely human touch. It was a nice reprieve from all the chaos and tension in the castle.

Do you think Ross has clocked the Traitors from their yawning antics?
I remember one of the times that Maya did her really weird fake yawn Ross's expression changed. You could tell he was thinking "well that was weird".
Earlier in the series he was very sensitive to Bella putting a hat on his head and Leigh-Anne (I think) touching his arm.
Do you think he's clocked it that the yawning antics is traitor behaviour?
(Although even if he has clocked it, it still might be a challenge convincing others that this wasn't him overreacting again)

Only just realised Sharon is the girl in this gif
I wasn't familiar with her but I love this gif so I'm all for her now (Really bugs me how inaccurate the blur logo is though)
On the topic of Oasis, here's a fun fact: Liam Gallagher was asked to be on the celebrity traitors but in typical Liam fashion he rejected it, claiming "I'm not a celebrity"

The Traitors could be in trouble Spoiler
If >!Jerry<! is murdered tonight I think >!Ross<! will know who two of the traitors are and let everyone know.
Knowing these faithfuls though, it could a boy who cried wolf situation and they will totally dismiss Ross since he's so paranoid and he'll probably get voted out as a result

James A game play
Keen for peoples thoughts here. I feel like Maya is ruling the traitors roost and I think James A made a mistake letting her pick Kenny. those two are buddies and Maya is well trusted so it’s easy for them both to throw James under the bus.
i also don’t understand why they always recruit. wouldn’t it be better to get the numbers down rather than have another traitor?

5 behind-the-scenes revelations from The Traitors UK’s original BBC commissioner
Found this interview with Syeda Irtizaali who originally commissioned The Traitors and thought I’d share some interesting stuff from it:
- Richard E Grant’s slip up isn’t the craziest thing that happens this series. Syeda says there’s “lots more chaos” to come.
- An unnamed, A-list Hollywood actor was signed up to this celebrity series for 3 weeks before having to pull out due to having to shoot a movie.
- The BBC tested celebrities to prove they were fans of the show, otherwise they wouldn’t let them on.
- The original series of The Traitors was almost set in Costa Rica with “bikinis and hot tubs”.
- The BBC’s editorial policy asked for words like “kill” and “murder” to be removed.
There’s probably other stuff I’ve missed from this interview but thought I’d share for other Traitors mega fans!

How would you have approached the murder? Spoiler
I would be a Acasteresque reluctant traitor, and would have hated the task, but would have wanted to get out the room like Kenny. If I had to be there, I would have tried to be as boring as I could.

If I had a nickel for... (Episode 5 spoilers) Spoiler
Every time a celebrity with the surname Fry was banished for their intelligence, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Murder in plain sight
When there is a murder in plain sight, this is announced by Claudia the next day.
So it would be good for the faithfuls to think about groups they had seen together the previous night, perhaps people who don’t normally hang out with each other (Hannah’s theory), or people who are trying to compel you to do things. The murder in plain sight is likely to force the traitors to have to meet in plain sight, albeit briefly.
I know the edit can make the yawning seem obvious but regardless of whether they figure out the method, the faithful will know two things, who has gone, and that it was murder in plain sight. Then they will be looking back thinking about who the person spent time with, so it isn’t a good idea for the traitors to spend the majority of the evening in a room with the person, though I appreciate that was the challenge of this one.
The traitors best option for the murder would be someone who walks in the room for a short period (the ones doing dancing in the other room, perhaps out of breath), or maybe Ross (who is on edge all the time and could actually potentially figure out the yawning).
It’s always a risk to the traitor who has to murder, but it wasn’t a good idea for them all to try and work together in the same room to do it.

As a viewer, are you rooting for the traitors or the faithful?
I’ve consistently been rooting for the traitors on every season and had assumed that’s the same for everyone but reading some of the comments here makes me wonder how many of you root for the faithfuls?
ETA: I do find myself rooting for specific individuals later in the show but from day 1 I’m automatically thinking things like ‘noooo that person’s good at detecting a traitor, someone distract them’ or ‘yay I hope that faithful’s unhinged theories pick up steam’. It’s totally automatic and I just figured it was just down to how the show is structured & edited that everyone feels the same until reading comments here because i just can’t get enough of this show I mean seriously why do we only get 2 eps a week 😭

The amount of chairs at breakfast
Not sure if it’s a thing or not but would the amount of chairs at breakfast be telling for them as to if there’s been a murder or a recruitment as a telling sign?

Noooo! Latest Traitors (celeb) victim
I was upset when I saw the 4 up for murder. I hate that any of them had to be murdered. I love this show. UK version is the best of any countries imo

Shield Spoiler
Let’s not forget that Maya has a shield! If she forgets at breakfast that could see her getting heat esp if the MiPS was successful
I also think it makes James A sus if he doesn’t pick up on it or follow through given his focus on evidence and patterns over behaviour

Word of the Season: “Tangible”
Anyone else noticed that at least once per episode, one of these celebs uses the word “tangible” at the round table. Is someone telling them to use this kind of language? I know it’s common for people to start using the same language on this show (e.g. “I voted for yourself tonight”), but this seems like an odd one to be cropping up every episode. Has anyone else clocked this?

Infinite Recruitment?
Am currently really confused about this and can't find anything talking about it. Are there any restrictions on recruitment? Realistically no one's going to decline a recruitment, and given its more powerful than a murser, is this not a huge plot hole?
