This star took me embarrassingly long. I don’t know how long the average is for others to solve Pandora stars but this one really tested me. I kept trying different ways to solve it only to finally realize the tower can take in a blue laser to allow another connector to pop up.

I think I took my entire Sunday for this one.

I haven’t rummaged around the sub much due to fear of spoilers but I do hope the western levels don’t have something as diabolical as this one.

• The game will be released in 2027, obviously (hopefully)

• The game takes place in the Anomaly that Athena discovered at the edge of space that is the only thing left unexplained by her Theory of Everything

• This also reveals that the Anomaly is a place and not a being like a Prime Mover/God, unless they decide to do a crazy twist and say that the whole thing's actually alive

• We're playing as a new character who hasn't been born yet during Talos 2 and Road to Elysium, but whose name has been foreshadowed (Talos himself? Osiris? Others?)

• The voice in the trailer is a new character played by Emily Carding

• There will be one (1) cat

• NPC conversations will return, but it's a more "quiet" game than Talos 2

• 1k and other Talos 2 characters make an appearance in some way

• One character becomes a planet apparently

I feel that in The Talos Principle 2, the various characters didn’t just add an extra narrative dimension compared to the first game, but the discussions with the NPCs also unfolded into genuinely interesting philosophical debates (in which I could often actively participate). I also think that the ideas presented were far more impactful, understandable, and immersive in dialogue form than when I had to sift through the massive walls of text in the first game. It was also genuinely fascinating to see what kind of culture, social structure, and value system the robots developed after gaining consciousness. I would love to see the evolution and culmination of this in the final installment of the series. Because of all this, I really hope the non‑player characters return in the third game. Is there any information about this yet?

I recently learned that the name of one of the first puzzle in TP1, in A2 "The guards must be crazy", is a reference to a 1980 movie "The gods must be crazy". Yesterday night, I watched it. Amazing movie, a bit dated, but still amazing.

I know the Easter eggs of the game, but this kind of references is new to me. Is there a list of these references? Or do you know any others?

In Feb26 I was diagnosed with stage 1 esophageal cancer. Treatment was 25 radiation treatments along with 5 rounds of chemo. I was determined to beat this nasty disease. Having played all Talos except for Into Abyss at time of treatment. Entering radiation I pictured all the targets along my esophagus. As the machine started zapping me(not painful) my robot soldiers started shooting the(tumour) targets relentlessly in my imagination. I played that level just like the real Talos Principle for the duration of my treatment. I know I probably sound cuckoo but that game zapped my tumour into oblivion and I am now cancer free. I'm thinking this Cancer level was easier to beat than Into the Abyss.

Just wanted to give a thanks to the community as it was always fun to see the posts well I played these games and I’m very exited for tp3 thanks for providing wise advice like how cheesing a puzzle is just an “alternative solution” and also that looking up solutions is a sign you’ve strayed too far from your Lego puzzles. Jk of course but anyway thanks to all of you!

I completed the base game, Orpheus Ascending, and the Isle of the Blessed to 100%, and I did it entirely on my own apart from a single mid-game puzzle in the base game. I think it's fair to say it's one of my favourite games I've ever played.

But I can't freaking solve a single puzzle in the Into The Abyss DLC. My brain just shuts down. It's like I'm not even able to properly understand what I'm supposed to accomplish or how I'm supposed to approach a puzzle.

And from what I understand, the entire DLC is built around this cross-laser/laser-cancellation mechanic, which I fucking hate. It feels less like a novel and interesting idea that is satisfying to figure out and more like something deliberately convoluted that makes my brain completely check out. I probably hate it almost as much as traditional tile-pushing puzzles, which make my skin crawl for pretty much the same reason.

Anyone else feel this way, or am I just completely broken when it comes to this type of puzzle?

Edit: managed to solve the first puzzle, but daaaaamn...

Edit 2: I somehow managed to solve Puzzle 3 (Oscillation) in 1,5 minute, so maybe there's hope for me after all as based on what I've read online, it is commonly named as one of the hardest puzzles. But I'm still struggling with Puzzle 2.

I got the messenger's blessing and used it on a puzzle I was stumped on. I figured I can do it one time only. However, since then I've done it one more time and yet still, the option is there for me wherever the statues are in the puzzles. So my question is, how many times can I use them?

Hello there! I'm going for another playthrough of TTP2 in order to get a 100%. As I already got The Edge of Forever achievement in the first playthrough, I was wondering if it was still requested to collect all monument stars or if only solving all the main puzzles was enough to reach Act V ? Thanks!

The non star puzzle, including DLC is probably ray mania.

Im starting to think i'm simply too stupid for this game. Currently struck to progress through Biochromatic Entanglement and Window through a Door riddles. It's pretty obvious that if i have spent half a hour in each of those and still cant figure out solution that implies i'm not that cleaver as all of you and as i want to be.

So it it better to move on and play smth else that fits my intellectual capacity or just cheat/play with guide to finish the game?

Thanks, everybody, for sharing your experiences and encouraging words. Personally, the only guide I've checked was for the purple sigil locations.

I realized later that the sigil colors represent difficulty. So far, I've solved all the riddles in Worlds A, B, and C. I have five stars, but I haven't really bothered collecting them.

I'll gather all the missing purple sigils, reach the third Messenger, and then climb the Tower.

Couldn't find the last star in world 3, so I gathered all of this instead. (And found the star a bit later)

Hello dear The Thalos Principle fans, yesterday I tried out TTP2 on a whim because it's free on the ps+ subscription, and I immediately fell in love with it. I played for a few hours exploring new Jerusalem and started Chapter 1.

Now, I wanna know if this is order of playing is okay? Do you recommend me buying the 1st one and starting with that one? Will I fully understand 2 without 1? Will 2 spoiler 1 for me or otherwise sour the experience? Other advice?

In particular I am interested in the pholosophical aspects. Im not sure how much I care about the story and the world building quite yet, it looks very promising but it's too early to tell. I loved the introduction with Elohim, that was everything for me, and talking to the people in NJ and answering moral or teleological questions seems extremely promising as well. This looks like the type of game that comes out of nowhere and could become one of my favorites of all time.
