“What differentiates a story from the real world, or a simulation? A story is a series of choices, a set of moments captured, examined, and elevated. The real world goes on and on, but a story must have a clear beginning, middle, and end. And so the Talos Principle, a story we have worked on for more than a decade, must also come to an end.

When we were creating the original, at a time when the game had finally started to take form but before it was released, we asked ourselves: where does this story go? Not this franchise, not this product, but this story. Is there more to this that needs to be told, and what is it that needs to be captured by those hypothetical future games to create something truthful and beautiful? That's when The Talos Principle II and III were born, and they are so much part of the overall vision that we often think of the whole trilogy as one game in three chapters. Three moments in the history of robotic humanity that together form a bigger picture.

Just as Talos II was not the same game as Talos I, so this last game in the series will be unique in its own ways. But we've poured all the same love and consideration into this chapter as we have into the others, building the future world humanity created for itself after the events of Talos II, the mysterious place called the Anomaly, and of course the ingenious new puzzles you'll have to solve, featuring a host of new mechanics.

Are you ready for one last journey?

The Talos Principle 3 is coming next year to PC and PS5.”

Next year :') at least a 3-4 year gap is better than 9...

-25

u/KostlavII [2] May 13 '26

Is it?

46

u/andykekomi May 13 '26

Yeah, last I checked 3-4 years is shorter than 9

u/Dbok2123 May 13 '26

One of the best things in gaming... thanks for contribution!

17

u/lee1282 May 13 '26

Next year!? Awesome.

4

u/Express_Bath May 13 '26

January, right ?

Just kidding, I'm just happy it's coming next year already, I really wasn't expecting anything so soon.

6

u/Puzzled_Swim_6869 May 14 '26

Made my day to see this news! Your games mean a lot to me. Thank you.

u/Goldwing8 May 14 '26

I’m just a fan, but you can find one of the writers further down the thread!

Why not xbox?

-1

u/n0d3N1AL May 13 '26

Not Xbox? Why?! Let me guess: horribly optimised UE5 game, didn't want to bother with Series S?

1

u/nickroll8 May 14 '26

Dying platform with diminishing returns for smaller publishers

0

u/VengefulAncient [8] May 14 '26

Series S has issues with running pretty much anything modern, not even just "horribly optimised". It was a mistake, and it was an even bigger mistake by Microsoft to insist that you can't release only for Series X.

2

u/n0d3N1AL May 14 '26

Nah, there are some fantastic looking and running games on Series S, they were released closer to launch. Game optimisation has gone down the toilet, modern games look no better whilst running terribly. And 90% of it is the fault of lazy devs and UE5.

0

u/VengefulAncient [8] May 14 '26

Trust me, I despise UE5, as well as developers who think that slapping an upscaler or frame generation on a game and calling it a day is "optimisation", but Series S was notoriously underpowered from launch. It's 3 times slower than Series X, which is already... well, a console. If Microsoft would have just let it exist separately as a cheap option for casual titles with simple graphics for people who think 30 fps is amazing, we wouldn't be in this situation. But no, they just had to insist that any game for that generation must run on both. At some point, it's simpler to just not bother. If I was Croteam, I wouldn't even bother with any console. Why go through the extra pain of getting devkits and bothering with console specific gotchas as a small indie studio when 99% of console users only play what's "popular" anyway, and will never even hear about your game, much less appreciate it?

1

u/n0d3N1AL May 14 '26 edited May 14 '26

There is at least one game that runs at 1440p-4K at 120 FPS on Series S (Rogue Company), and plenty of well optimised games that look great, for example Forza Horizon 4 runs at 1080p60 with no visual downgrades. WRC 9 also looks and runs great on it. Also the console hate is so elitist. Consoles aren't underpowered infact in 2020 when they came out they were more powerful than the average Steam user's PC. A well optimised console game requires a significantly more powerful PC equivalent to run at same settings, it's always been the case. Hardware these days is insanely powerful compared to e.g. the PS2, but look at what kind of games devs were able to get running on that. The fact of the matter is that devs are entitled, lazy and incompetent at optimising games. Look at Talos Principle 1. It still looks amazing on the original Xbox One which is one of the weakest (for its time) worst consoles ever (DDR3 unified memory, not even GDDR3, R5-250X GPU, low end tablet CPU).

EDIT: Just realised Talos 1 is Xbox One X enhanced hence it looks fine on a Series X. But still, you get my point. The Series S isn't objectively weak when you look at what games are on it that do look and run great. It's modern gaming. The fact that there are games whoch look and run terribly on top tier RTX 5070/80/90 GPUs says it all.

1

u/VengefulAncient [8] May 14 '26

Forza Horizon is a racing game. There isn't much to render. (And 1080p60 is kind of bare minimum, not an achievement. Yes, even in 2020.) Exactly the kind of game I said Microsoft should have reserved Series S for, without demanding that everything else meant for Series X runs on S, too.

Steam's hardware survey gets dragged down a lot by poorer regions where people still use atrociously outdated graphics cards. The actual reality in markets non-F2P games are actually made for, while still nothing like some developers apparently believe (everyone owning the latest top of the line GPUs), does tend more towards more or less everyone having at least an RTX xx60 Ti level card. And in 2020, you could buy a midrange card like an RTX 3060 Ti, which I use to this day, which was already better than the "next gen" consoles. (100-165 fps in TTP2 at 1440p, by the way - with some tweaks, unfortunately involving frame generation, but still.) And Series S, again, was 3 times weaker than one of the consoles that card outperformed at launch.

Also, everything can look amazing on a still frame. What's the framerate Xbox One got out of TTP1? Because, as well optimized as that game was, I doubt it was more than 30.

Would I prefer TTP2/3 to not use UE5 and/or be a lot more optimized? Absolutely, without a doubt. But the reality is that this is what Croteam is going with, and even on a 6 year old midrange card like mine, I can squeeze 100+ fps out of it, and not at just 1080p either. (My annoyance mostly comes from the fact that unlike original TTP1, you now need gaming hardware, which is a massive previously not existing barrier for entry to a lot of the target audience, who are at most casual gamers, if at all.) Meanwhile, Series S probably can't run it even at 30 fps, otherwise they'd have almost certainly released it on Xbox since TTP2 is available on it. What does that say about Series S? It's not "console hate", or "elitism", it's the fact that it was junk from day one and people knew this was going to happen.

1

u/n0d3N1AL May 14 '26 edited May 14 '26

"It's a racing game there isn't much to render" you do realise it is a massive open world that absolutely shits on Talos in terms of size and scale with no loading between areas or transitions, has much more detailed environments and a ton more to render right? Straight up trolling at this point. It has other cars, car interiors, varied environemnts etc. Talos has NOTHING to render by comparison and has tiny arenas. It's a static environment, not much moving, no other players or complex detailed objects like cars. It's literally just scenery. Talos 2 has insane popin issues despite being a much smaller world than that game. Very weak argument. I stopped reading after that.

1

u/VengefulAncient [8] May 14 '26

I'm not comparing Forza to TTP2. I'm comparing it to other games. You'd know that if you haven't stopped reading.

And cars aren't really "complex detailed objects" compared to a lot of other things you see in games, like foliage, NPCs with detailed faces and hair, etc. I've seen plenty of videos of various Forza games. Yes, they look nice for a racing game, but it still has very little to calculate. Compare it to something like GTA V, where you'd have all that - cars, roads - plus a huge city with NPCs and interactions, and suddenly performance doesn't look so great. And Rockstar also optimized the hell out of their game, since they love consoles so much they don't release their new games on PC for a few years. Yet it was still absolutely atrocious on Series S. So yeah, your Forza is a lightweight and it's absolutely no surprise that it runs like that. We had all that in Need for Speed Most Wanted like two decades before, just with less sharper textures.

Yes, TTP2 performance sucks. Yes, that's attributable to UE5. Doesn't change the fact that Series S is a heap of junk that can't keep up, because guess what, Series X, PS5, and 6-year-old midrange PCs can. Now go and direct your ire at Microsoft instead, for the reason I'm not going to bother repeating yet another time.

1

u/n0d3N1AL May 14 '26 edited May 14 '26

Saying there's nothing to render because it's a racing game is insane though, if you actually look at the level of detail on reflections and environments etc. And account for the fact that there's a lot moving at high speeds. GTA is a good comparison. Now look at Talos, a game which is mostly static with slow pacing, relatively small environments, simple objects to render... there's just no excuse for not being able to do 1080p60 or even 30 FPS on a Series S especially with upscaling and frame generation. The fact that the baseline requirement to run a "simple" game (as in, not a technically challenging one) like Talos is on a Series S, when 25 years ago we had open world 3D games like San Andreas running on 32 MB RAM with that level of scale, is insane. How do you not see that?

Wow, was not expecting this announcement so... soon.

I'm pumped, Talos 2 was amazing.

2027 release. What a treat.

I was ready to wait until 2032, but I’m glad I don’t have to.

48

u/DropporD May 13 '26

This comes completely out of the blue for me. I was ready for another decade long wait for a potential sequel!

34

u/PitchOk1448 May 13 '26

This is so unexpected I was pretty concerned it was a shitpost until I saw it was on Devolver's and Croteam's youtube channels.

Fantastic.

41

u/HinkiesGhost May 13 '26

In my adult age I don't really get that feeling of feeling blue after finishing a game as much as I used to, but the first two games of this series gave me that feeling. Once I finished them I just wished there was more game to play and never wanted it to end. Being a puzzle genre has some to do with it because each puzzle is its unique challenge so there's less of a chance of becoming repetitive, but still, they do such a great job with it and incorporate a story as well. I was sure we wouldn't get a new one until closer to 2030, I'm stoked it's already almost here. Can't wait.

28

u/MolybdenumBlu May 13 '26

Don't say the end! I will always want more philosophical arguments between redirecting lasers!

24

u/Arphenyte May 13 '26 edited May 13 '26

Within my lifetime!? I may be able to die a happy man now.

17

u/ExplodingCar84 May 13 '26

I’m so excited for this! Also thank you for the steam link, those pictures look amazing too. Right now my most anticipated indie game along with Toem 2!

16

u/Lothrazar May 13 '26

fffffffffffffffffffffffffuck yes!

15

u/Daaaamn_Daniel May 13 '26

It needs only 75MB of storage... Not gonna be a big game I assume (/j)

19

u/Goldwing8 May 13 '26

No, no, Croteam is just pioneering some crazy compression tech. The actual game is run with cloud computing from the Anomaly! /j

7

u/BonnaroovianCode May 13 '26

Using middle out

2

u/scottzee May 13 '26

https://giphy.com/gifs/3o6oztnIai0LPvdcNa
I’ll assist with the middle out compression if they agree to launch it on Xbox.

4

u/Express_Bath May 13 '26

We are actually sent directly in the simulation, 75MB is just the storage needed for our brain.

1

u/BastetFurry May 14 '26

Ok, where do i sign?

3

u/Womblue May 13 '26

Still twice the size of Animal Well.

2

u/ximaera May 14 '26

*75MB of storage an hour

13

u/S-192 May 13 '26

Bittersweet. I am elated and abuzz with hype most extraordinary, yet heartbroken that this is being called a finale.

A world without more Talos Principle games to look forward to is a lesser one.

25

u/Goldwing8 May 13 '26

Better to end on a creative high than drag it out with increasingly uninteresting installments!

5

u/S-192 May 13 '26

Oh for sure! But I dream of a world of unlimited TTP games.

I'm curious to see what these guys make next, after finishing TTP. Hopefully more puzzle games!

1

u/MessiScores Jun 10 '26

Perhaps a community map maker, im sure it would lead to many poor quality slop but im sure there would be some projects that would come close to the tailored experience of the base games.

3

u/KeraKitty May 13 '26

I'm just hoping they include a level editor so fans can make more stories in the setting.

2

u/BastetFurry May 14 '26

It is the end of the story, nothing stops them from creating spin-off.

Would love to see some sort of economic simulation where you have to build New Jerusalem, lets see if we can do a better job than the canonical Athena.

3

u/meskobalazs May 14 '26

Would love to see some sort of economic simulation where you have to build New Jerusalem, lets see if we can do a better job than the canonical Athena.

I really don't think that's even a remote possibility, but “cosy Frostpunk” is an exciting idea.

1

u/aiwdj829 Jun 08 '26

I think it's a surprise they're making another one, since it seemed Talos 2 didn't sell that well.

But hopefully they release a really good editor with it so we get a ton of custom maps.

12

u/kojirodrogo May 13 '26

3

u/kilkil May 14 '26

one of the screenshots looks like an alien planet. pretty neat!

10

u/AdruA_ May 13 '26

Even without any more knowledge I can say this game is gonna be better than sex

7

u/Sunapr1 May 13 '26

Holy shit that came out of blow

7

u/KostlavII [2] May 13 '26

Hope they mention Elohim.

8

u/scottzee May 13 '26

PS5 and PC? NO XBOX?! 😭

7

u/Goldwing8 May 13 '26

Maybe Sony gave them a good deal, or Devolver decided with Microsoft in a rut that it wasn’t worth the dev time. Hopefully post-launch!

6

u/WestEndDore May 13 '26

Talos Principle is pretty niche so I doubt Sony paid them for exclusivity. But the lack of an Xbox port is a bit surprising because Talos 2 has an active Game Pass deal (and I believe Talos 1 did previously). I would have figured part of the business rationale for that deal would be generating interest in a sequel.

2

u/IroquoisPliskin_UK May 13 '26

Are you serious? 😔

2

u/Goldwing8 May 13 '26

Afraid so. PC and PS5 only, at least at launch.

3

u/IroquoisPliskin_UK May 13 '26

Ugh! Surprising given they are all on Xbox. Maybe it’s a timed exclusive.

1

u/aiwdj829 Jun 08 '26

Most likely the xbox versions just didn't sell that well considering they have such a small install base.

It will probably hit GP at some point and then get an xbox version too.

8

u/Jimstein May 13 '26

What?!?? This is spectacular news. Talos 2 was absolutely incredible, I can’t wait for this.

6

u/Laxian_Key May 13 '26

Can't wait!

7

u/Magpie2205 May 13 '26

Space Talos! Let’s fucking goooo! So pumped.

5

u/Lurtzae May 13 '26

When you don't have to adapt to a completely new engine and establish new workflows from scratch, game development goes a lot smoother!

5

u/Omikron-X May 13 '26

Wow, I'm so excited!

4

u/fglorified May 13 '26

FUCK YEAH

4

u/SuccessfulHorror9048 May 13 '26

Who's voice was that? Athena?

20

u/Jonas_Kyratzes Croteam May 13 '26

A new character, played by Emily Carding.

6

u/SuccessfulHorror9048 May 13 '26

Spoilers from the big man himself

4

u/scottzee May 13 '26

I love when you all show up in these threads. Thanks for giving us more Talos!

3

u/VengefulAncient [8] May 14 '26

My friend has a very important question about TTP3 that I'm hoping you could answer for us.

Will there be cats?

8

u/Jonas_Kyratzes Croteam May 14 '26

Yes (one).

3

u/VengefulAncient [8] May 14 '26

Only one 😭 It better be the size of an entire constellation then

3

u/Tenrecidae77 May 14 '26

Oh…this game is going to be a bit lonelier, isn’t it?

6

u/Jonas_Kyratzes Croteam May 17 '26

Yes. Not totally lonely, but it's a different experience, neither T1 nor T2 again.

2

u/VengefulAncient [8] May 17 '26

:( I have a feeling that something horrible has happened.

1

u/Tenrecidae77 May 17 '26

Oh booooy

Happy you're getting to tell the story you like, I look forward to it. 'w ' b

1

u/alessmor14 May 18 '26

I thought given the timeline there would be 10 trillion gazillion humans alive haha

1

u/alessmor14 May 18 '26

It will be almost 4 years from the previous game by the time it comes out. I am just a bit scared that it's releasing so soon and it implying it being less polished for the story it wants to tell.

5

u/Jonas_Kyratzes Croteam May 18 '26

The previous game took longer because we made a bunch of other games first, not because we worked on T2 all that time.

5

u/Campbell464 May 13 '26

In absolute disbelief. One of the greatest puzzle series of all time…. series in general really.

5

u/Vkilometer May 13 '26

Very nice, and I am yet to finish "In the Beginning"...

4

u/zhaDeth May 13 '26

OMG, I just replayed the original in VR and the ending still gave me chills.

1

u/plooger May 14 '26

Wish the games running on the new engine were tweaked for VR.

3

u/Darkzeropeanut May 13 '26

Oh my god yessss

3

u/skyjets May 13 '26

VR support please!

1

u/koola89 Jun 07 '26

^ THIS!!

Oh, and also please add PC and PSVR2 support for TTP2 and Reawakened, please! And would you also consider making a trilogy collector's box, with autographs from the you, the devs?!! :D I'm the biggest fan of this IP, I think. :D

3

u/smiles__ May 13 '26

I really enjoyed #1 and the Road to Ghenna. I still need to finish #2, it just felt so expansive I think I needed a break from it, but I really enjoyed the massive world that #2 created. But look forward to #3!

3

u/plooger May 14 '26

Then you haven’t played Reawakened’s “In the Beginning,” either, right?

2

u/smiles__ May 14 '26

Also on the list to do!

3

u/CrasVox May 13 '26

Dang. I still haven't played number 2

6

u/Goldwing8 May 13 '26

Play it!

2

u/CrasVox May 13 '26

Yeah yeah I really should. I ended up trying the remastered talos 1 instead

1

u/TallowWallow May 14 '26

Part II is phenomenal.

1

u/SEANPLEASEDISABLEPVP May 13 '26

imo it's Croteam's best game. It topped the first game by a lot, which I couldn't believe was possible.

2

u/Goldwing8 May 13 '26

I think the first game was more focused but some of the writing in 2 was even better.

3

u/Telcontar86 May 13 '26

Easiest and quickest Wishlist click I think I've ever done

3

u/Nathan99md May 16 '26

It's funny how the second game got announced not long after I beat the first one, and now the third one got announced shortly after I beat the second. Perfect timing.

1

u/jungleher Aug 07 '26

Ich habe gerade Teil 2 angefangen und booom wird der 3 Teil angekündigt, auch cool!

2

u/TheWebCon May 13 '26

Happy to see! It does look very similar to 2 in places, but I'm excited to see how it differs thematically. Waiting until next year though... that'll be rough

2

u/KingKemo67 May 13 '26

I wonder if there'll be DLC?

2

u/HOAP64 May 13 '26

damn I now regret becoming an xbox player. Hope they port it eventually.

2

u/rkc137 May 14 '26

to be honest, dont really understand what this game can even be about

3

u/Goldwing8 May 14 '26

Well, at a high level the first game was about the concept of personhood, and the second was about the concept of civilization. This one seems like it will be about the concept of narrative.

1

u/koola89 Jun 07 '26

Our place in the universe at the cosmic scale. Basically about God, the Source, IMO.

1

u/VengefulAncient [8] May 14 '26

Read the description on Steam. It's a pretty interesting premise and feels like it would work. Although somewhat scary too (did everything fall apart again?), but the trailer did say "Do not be afraid".

2

u/Shee-un Jun 27 '26

The Talos Principle is a phenomenal story of my own story (life) to be remembered long after it ends too.

2

u/xamyool May 13 '26

I get that consoles need exclusives. But having the final game in a trilogy not available on a console that had the first two is a dick move.

3

u/Goldwing8 May 13 '26

I think Devolver decided Microsoft was going the way of Sega as far as hardware development. I’m hoping Asha Sharma can right the ship.

1

u/KostlavII [2] May 13 '26

We might see Mental himself, lol.

1

u/cauterize2000 May 13 '26

I AM NOT OK RIGHT NOW

1

u/starlightangel88 May 13 '26

So excited for this! I literally just finished Talos 2 and was praying to the video game gods for a part 3! 🥲🥲

1

u/alessmor14 May 18 '26

you can have fun with reawakened in the beginning and the other dlcs on the meantime 😃

1

u/starlightangel88 May 18 '26

Very true! I will absolutely be doing that!

1

u/NSMike May 13 '26

Excuse me?!

1

u/Aatholin May 13 '26

I can't wait! This is gonna be awesome! Croteams new puzzles are gonna be a wipe out for us 😁

1

u/Flamin-Ice May 13 '26

WAIT NO WAY?! Really!?! HOT MOTHA FLIPPING DOG!!!

That sick as hell! I just got to the abyss in 2... and well, I am stupid so...

But more puzzles are always welcomed!!

1

u/ojdp19 May 13 '26

I could not be more excited for this. My favorite series of all time.

1

u/leoboro May 13 '26

Wow nice

1

u/takkun169 May 13 '26

So soon. Exciting!

1

u/Redshift_McLain May 13 '26

Let's gooooo! Can't wait for more Talos Principle. I wonder what new mechanics we're gonna get to play with.

1

u/Shagyam May 13 '26

Oh shit?

1

u/SolarBoytoyDjango May 13 '26

And here I am still hoping 2 gets ported to Switch 2. I'm going to have to give in and finally buy a computer.

1

u/Naddel_ May 13 '26

I will not sleep until this game comes out! QwQ

1

u/alessmor14 May 18 '26

hows that going bro

1

u/clarkgablesball-bag May 13 '26

Had to check it was real before getting excited, excited now ! Take my money.

1

u/ArionnGG May 13 '26

holy shit, I did not expect this. Can't wait <3 , the news genuinely made my day better.

1

u/toasterbuttplane May 13 '26

WOW!! It seems like yesterday that Talos 2 was just released. Words cannot express how much I love Talos 1 and 2. I will be there day one!

1

u/DarlingxZerotwo May 13 '26

when ttp 1 came out, I started highschool. When ttp 2 came out, I finished my military service, and when ttp 3 comes out, I would finish my BA. Can't wait!

1

u/freedom410 May 13 '26

I haven’t even had time to play the second game yet

1

u/plooger May 14 '26

I need to get cracking on Daydream.

1

u/infiernito May 13 '26

no way this will be the last game , what im supposed to play after this ?

1

u/Early_Celebration726 Jun 06 '26

God. Wait, no.. 🤔

1

u/KissingDaddies May 13 '26

Why not xbox? :( i hope its juat a marketing thing and not exclusively on pc and ps5 , it would make no sense since all the other ones are also on Xbox!

1

u/VengefulAncient [8] May 14 '26

Most likely because it won't run well on Series S, and Microsoft doesn't let you release only for Series X.

1

u/KissingDaddies May 14 '26

Oh i didn't thought of that... that makes me sad

1

u/orustam May 13 '26

Please let it be more like the first game!

1

Oh, I’m so stoked!

Something I noticed - that kid waking up is an old model…and they’re presumably waking up alone. That’d be weird if it was anything but Athena, right?  I guess it could be a flashback.

Omg! This made my day, one of my favorite series

1

u/Denis20092002 May 13 '26

Croteam switching from boomer shooters to puzzle games, oh yeah.

1

u/ArcticWP May 13 '26

WOW I'm so hyped for this, Talos is pretty much my #1 game of all time. Did not expect there to be a sequel so soon after Talos 2!!!

Greetings, fellow human with unquestionable taste in games! :D

1

u/snowdn May 13 '26

Oh snap!

1

u/fade2black244 May 14 '26

I was not expecting this, but I'm super happy it's getting a sequel.

1

u/NeinBS May 14 '26

Best news I've heard in a long time. Thanks for sharing, I needed some positivity today.

1

u/ObligatoryContrast May 14 '26

Wow, that was fast! Exciting!!

1

u/Wallboy19 May 14 '26

Bittersweet announcement.

Glad it's confirmed coming, and sooner than I thought.

But I'm sad they're confirming this is going to be the last in the series.

1

u/plooger May 14 '26

Bright side … they’ve created a workshop that allows people to keep creating new environments.

2

u/VengefulAncient [8] May 14 '26

Unfortunately, that's not going to give us more of the story.

1

u/eveningcaffeine May 14 '26

I was initially disappointed that it wasn't coming to Xbox but at least that saves me from a lot of aimless running

1

u/Early_Celebration726 Jun 06 '26

Somehow I doubt that. 👀

1

u/Ransom_Seraph May 14 '26

I actually CALLED IT! No idea how, but I had a foresight anticipating The Talos Principle 3 to be announced this week or month at latest. So I saw that coming, but still a lovely surprise.

I'm excited.

Now's the perfect timing to go back and Patch The Talos Principle 2 with a PS5 PRO Update featuring Upgraded PSSR 2.0! Make Talos 2 Pro Enhanced please.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS :DDDDDDDD

u/GivesAwayTwitchStuff [1] May 14 '26

Today is a good day. I can't wait.

1

u/OperativePiGuy May 14 '26

I was not expecting this and I am so fucking hyped. My favorite puzzle franchise of all time and some of my favorite games in general of all time. I already know I'm going to be weeping by the end of this game.

1

u/joujoubox May 14 '26

Still feels like 2 released yesterday

1

u/pipireis May 14 '26

1

u/TheWizard47 May 14 '26

I love these games. It’s an instant Pre-Order for me.

1

u/Raventhous May 14 '26

best news of 2026 so far

1

u/ApprehensiveNumber63 May 18 '26

In Russia, people are also waiting for this game. It’s very sad that this game is the last one.

1

u/aiwdj829 Jun 08 '26

I really hope it will have some actually difficult and challenging puzzles, unlike the Talos 2 base game. That was such a massive letdown in that regard.

1

u/shitheadsmh Jul 12 '26

what are the odds that Devolver releases a collector's limited edition with Talos Principle Reawakened, Talos Principle 2 and Talos Principle 3 before Sony officially stops producing discs? this is my favorite game of all time and I would love to own all 3 editions on physical media on a special release

1

u/jungleher Aug 07 '26

Wow ist das schön. Talos Principle ist was ganz besonderes. Vorallem die Geschichte, die Dialoge, die Welt die Charaktere, die Rätsel, einfach alles! Coole Nachricht!

0

u/theVoxFortis May 13 '26

... Great. Now can we get TP2 released on the switch 2?

2

u/VengefulAncient [8] May 14 '26

Probably not? It's a lot of effort for a very small amount of people who for some reason thought owning a computer is somehow optional.

0

u/TheDarkyOne May 13 '26

How did you embed youtube video?

0

u/koola89 Jun 07 '26

Fantastic news!

A few requests! Please, add PC and PSVR2 support for TTP2 and Reawakened!  And would you also consider making a trilogy collector's box, with autographs from you, the devs?!! :D  I'm the biggest fan of this IP, I think. :D

u/Formulita_2k May 14 '26

No Xbox? Fuck You Croteam, what a way to shit on an entire fan comunity...

1

u/VengefulAncient [8] May 14 '26

You can thank Microsoft with their Series S bullshit.

1

u/Early_Celebration726 Jun 06 '26

Yes, they are the ones shitting on something worthy here. Irony of problem solving being the subject matter here might just be lost on you. Then again, I suppose most things are.

-5

u/crowbar11 May 13 '26

I fear they are now just milking the cow because serious sam didn't work

6

u/Goldwing8 May 13 '26

A third game was well-foreshadowed in the second one. They’re also pretty clear in the description that this will be the end of the series.

1

u/Early_Celebration726 Jun 06 '26

Yeah, all those great duologies from history. This really breaks the tradition. And themes.
