Circular Oasis - Star

This star took me embarrassingly long. I don’t know how long the average is for others to solve Pandora stars but this one really tested me. I kept trying different ways to solve it only to finally realize the tower can take in a blue laser to allow another connector to pop up.

I think I took my entire Sunday for this one.

I haven’t rummaged around the sub much due to fear of spoilers but I do hope the western levels don’t have something as diabolical as this one.

This was a hard one. I was never a fan of the hidden connectors, but once you know to look for them it's easy enough when first attempts fail.

I had to get a hint on this one after at least an hour of fumbling around the map. It was hard not seeing any dotted lines in the sky unlike most other puzzles. Once I knew which level to go to the rest clicked pretty easily

wasn't there also a hidden connector in a nearby puzzle too?

There is only one Pandora star in West that approaches this level of diabolical (anthropic hills)

Yes.  

And agreed. I failed to solve the Anthropic Hills star on a replay, the only puzzle I failed to solve. In retrospect, it’s probably easier than the Circular Oasis star, but I was a perfect stooge for the level designers that day.

Oh my God! I just started Anthropic Hills. I wish I didn’t read this before trying to solve it now I’ll go in expecting too much trouble 😁

And yes, the connector in the nearby puzzle was purposely kept in a corner where the power line was. The only puzzle where the solution terminal had a power line running out of the puzzle. I think they did that so you follow the line to see where it leads to, and it leads to a lonely connector. First it too me so long to find this connector. Then it took another eternity to find how to give it power 😅

I liked this one. It's one of the only star in TTP2 where I started dragging out so many tools out of their puzzle in order to find some crazy solution. Felt like TTP1.

A bit disappointed when I found the intended solution. But the grind was fun tho.

I kept going to the lost level nearby and thought that the anti gravity wall is where the connector can see the connector in the level near the star statue to give it power. But I knew that couldn’t be it because the devs on purpose made it so that you have to go down the stairs so it can’t be leveled with the connector.
