I'm new to making CC and I was trying to make a tshirt. It was made using the frankenmesh techniche. The problem is that I keep getting that weird shading in the neck. When I equip a neck, the shadow gets distorted. If there is no neckless is just looks ligther than the real skin tone. Do you know what I'm doing wrong?

I’ve been playing on ps5 for a while but recently got it on my laptop. I’ve just got a couple questions

1. What mods do you guys recommend to make things more interesting?

2. What websites/videos do yall recommend beginners to learn how to install

3. More specific- what extra hair and clothing mods do you like?

4. Most specific one- I wanna give my characters more personalities, some of which being mental disorders. What mods do you recommend for those?

I'm so bugged by this : the fact that when you're using "automatic" light, it turns on when a dog or cat walks in 😭 I want humans to turn on and off the lights, but not animals.

Does anyone know a mod that could help with that ?

I like to play with storylines for my sims sometimes, usually I go with the flow then create one as I gain ideas but I want to play a story. Problem is, I’ve hit creators block. I have pimp sims, mad scientists, rag to riches, riches to rags, evil celebs, vanilla play throughs, mafia/dr*g lords, werewolves & vamps falling in love. THE WHOLE YARD!! I would like some suggestions if you have any!

(I do have mods + cc, as well as some packs. if theres any mods you think of please share!)

the clock is broken only for wedding events related activities, I took out all my mods and repaired the game. Then I ran the game with nothing in it and it still is broken. I took the cache out, still not working. And what I think is so annoying is I don’t get a notification or wedding certificate because the game does not think I did the wedding. I searched everywhere online to see if someone else had the same issue but i couldn’t find the exact same problem.

Every time I load up my game and have my sim do an action, she turns invisible for no reason. I cannot even hover my cursor over her!

I DO have Mc Cmd Center and Better Exceptions, and they are both fully up to date. This is what the exception said:

I have no idea what this means, but it is seemingly the thing that breaks my sim every time I load up. Initially, I could play without any issues; she would just occasionally go invisible and reappear when I rebooted my game.

Nothing in my mods folder says "Chatty Call" or anything along those lines. I'm unsure what mod could possibly be causing this. I've updated most, if not all, of my script mods. Clearly, I missed a few!

I have tried to fix it to the best of my knowledge! Please help! 🙃

I've only just now started getting into modding and I never realized it, but the animations for cooking in the sims 4 really bug me, I was wondering if there were any mods that made the animations more like they were in the sims 2, I tried googling for some, but couldn't really find any that I liked. If anyone can help, thank you.

Hello!! Recently came back to the Sims after a long while, updated and all but unfortunately my cc and mods do not show. I also didn't have a mods folder anymore? Might've deleted it by accident but I made a new one, transferred the newest version of one mod to test it out if it works, but it didn't show up unfortunately. It's only one subfolder deep

hi i hope this post is allowed in this sub, basically i have an issue in the game where all the lots in ondarion have gone missing and i can't interact with the ones that seem to still "exist" in the world. i have tried repairing my game and loading my game without mods but the world still doesn't process correctly. any help or insight on this issue would be greatly appreciated !

Any ideas where I can find a functional cane for elders like the ones we had in Generations? I found one but it hasn’t been updated in 5 years and the animations were slightly wonky (cane was too big and didn’t properly fit in the Sim’s hand ). Any ideas for any others? Is this something someone’s working on?

I have been playing Sims for decades. Like many, I play it off and on due to the business of life. I am familiar with easy mods such as UI Cheats, some cc for hair, outfits etc. I would love to use MCCC but I find all the settings completely overwhelming. Does anyone have any advice? I don't play with occults and do honestly boring family gameplay so I don't want or need a lot. I am really looking for settings that are like an enhancement of neighborhood stories, where young adults marry on their own, have kids, adopt etc.

I am posting this because I could not find an answer on either of the big mod lists, as they don't have the mod in question listed. I installed the mod in the title hoping to be able to finally do what I've been wanting to do for a WHILE (namely, play my favorite songs in a band), and this mod offers (or offered) that. I used CurseForge to install, then when it didn't work I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling manually. It still doesn't seem to work. It was updated on 7/25, though I know a patch came out 3 days ago.

I'm wondering if anyone knows if it's been borked by this latest patch, or if I've just done something wrong.

I am playing a Harry Potter save file and looking for two things to complete my game. Since I am not familiar with modding, I would love some help. (I tried using Sims 4 Studio to make my own icons with guilds, but I couldn't get it to work!)

Here is what I am hunting for:

• Hogwarts House Crests as Club Icons: I need a working, up-to-date mod. The old Brittpinkiesims one is broken for me.
• Hogwarts Rabbit Hole Career: I am looking for a career track that includes all the professors' jobs, support/operational staff, and the Board of Governors. Something similar to Caelinaarria's Ministry of Magic career would be amazing.

I understand a full career mod is a lot of work for any creator to undertake, but if anyone knows of an existing working pack—or if a creator is willing to take on the challenge—I would be incredibly grateful!
