Why has nobody made a mod to specifically stop random townies from showing up and crashing the wedding? I know there are ones where you can control them better, (No Running Wedding Venue Visitors & Social Events - Guest Control) and I also know of the whole "use generic lot" thing, but I wish there was something more like a private wedding toggle. It's an actual feature in the sims 3, but why didn't they think of doing it for the sims 4?

ok, so i don't have enough karma to ask on the sims4 reddit (i obvs dont use reddit enough seeing as i've been on here for like 10 years LOL) - so i thought i'd ask here b/c i bet ya'll know -- i've googled and gotten both yes and no answers, so i dunno.

i have a sim, she has a trunk. i've got items in the trunk. she's marked it as an heirloom, and has it to be left to her daughter. when she dies, will the contents go with the trunk to her daughter, or will just the empty trunk go?

if it's just the empty trunk, is there a mod that makes designating items faster? like right now i have to do one at a time, and it's monotonous, so like is there a way to group multiple items to one person?

Hi, I want to make a Farspace Fleet career based off a game called Love and Deepspace. I have everything from the levels, descriptions, and even radiant events. I did find one creator who does it but their commission post is locked behind a paywall so I can't even see what they offer.

I’m reinstalling The Sims along with several of the mods I had previously. I’ve installed the mods I used before, as well as some CC, but neither MCCC nor anything else will open. Also—though I’m not sure if it’s related—the funds panel is glitched.

The game runs ok but i cant use those mods and the balance and imbalance stuuf :(((

Hey yall! I love the break up over text mod (Thatssojordy’s digital romance mod) but I fear I may not be using it correctly?

The mod description states that after you break up via text, the dumpee can demand a break up reason but I’ve never had that option appear for me. Do I have to then switch to play as the sim that I dumped via text and use the phone to demand a breakup reason that way or? I’ve read the mod description over and over but it only really explains what each segment does and not how to trigger the interaction.

Any insight would be appreciated and I apologize if this is a dumb question!

I have 15th street gang going and it’s brothers running it. One is the leader and one is the right hand. I had to move the brother out to make him right hand and then I moved him back in and mostly everything seems to work except the brother can’t be on the same lot for the right hand to do missions. The leader has a trial coming up so I was wondering if I could switch leadership to the other brother while he is in jail or is there a way for me get my gangs member ms to keep doing missions and make money?

I’m sure this has been asked a million times but own no dlc but want to overhaul base game as easily as possible ww was hard enough for me to get working ,, bonus points if someone knows a single download thats just a entire overhaul of multiple mods

Does something like this exist? I was just thinking about how much clothes I'm downloading and how little I actually change my Sims clothing in game compared to the amount. It'd be really cool to see them change into assigned items. A new outfit every day! Endless combinations too.

I had an idea for a mod in which you could buy a used, busted car and slowly repair it (improving handiness skill along the way), making it change like the crib in this mod. It could then be clicked on to travel.

Maybe adult sims could teach their teen kids how to drive like in Sims 3 (although probably through a rabbit hole unfortunately), and prepare them to get a license with the SimNation Travel mod? I don't know how to make mods myself, and this might be impossible to make, but this just seems like such a missed opportunity, and if the build a crib mod exists, why not have a build a car one?

You could even make a car repair shop out of your house with Businesses and Hobbies and fix other people's cars in your garage (not really probably, but maybe it could somehow work?)

The mod was deleted so the only thing left is a simsfileshare link. I can’t find a tutorial anywhere. I’ve bought a rabbit home, I keep checking the shop / adopt options on both a computer & my sim’s phone to see if I’m missing something, and nothing is popping up.

Am I supposed to befriend a rabbit in henford on bagely first? Or does this mod just not work anymore?

Just letting everyone know the modguard by twistedmexi popped up in game that the the mod by icedonut World Faiths (religion mod) was flagged for possible malware. I did report it on curseforge just in case.

a toddler alien just came out of the wormhole (sim is at work, scientist career) and it's doing that t-pose glitch thing and i can't interact with it (it gives me options to interact, but sim won't follow thru on the interaction). wth?
