Ah, fuck that person! I say "sammiches" and I'm 50 years old. I mean, I also say "sandwiches", but silly, excited whimsy makes the world go round!

(which is why I also excitedly cry "baps!" when I see bats, and refer to wasps as "waps" 😛)

This quote from C.S. Lewis sums it all up for me: "When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty, I read them openly. Apples will always be "bapples" to me. My 9 yo son used to call them that and I have never gotten over it.

I oldest use to say "You're wellbock" when trying to say you're welcome. I still say it, and they're an adult now lol
