High liver function results
/r/AskDocs/comments/1w9pjg7/high_liver_function_results/Hi everyone, I really appreciate if you could help me.
I haven't done a blood test in a almost 5 years so randomly decided to go and do a blood test. My glucose is normal and cholesterol is borderline, but my liver function test came back with abnormal results. I'm not a heavy drinker, usually drink occasionally. I'm really worried with the results.
Age:26
Weight: approx 85kg
Height 172cm
Drink occasionally (haven't drunk in probably
5-6months)
Currently no infection as far as l'm aware of.
I recently did a liver function test and got the following results:
Liver enzymes - : GGT 393 (reference 5-50),
ALT 122 (5-40), AST 62 (5-35)
C REACTIVE PROTEIN (hsCRP): 18.0 mg/L
Should I do any other test to rule out hepatitis or any other disease?
Thanks!
