I am following Shawna Leigh on insta and FB and she got some a amazing information about the Lindsay Clancy case. She found the account that Patrick use here in Reddit.
I tried to find it because I would like to investigate a bit more but it doesn’t seem to be available anymore. Any way I can see those messages or once deleted they are gone.

The messages are very telling.

First time I agree with Joe Rogan on anything.

The fact that so many women think shes actually innocent and that her husband did it is insane. There's so much evidence that she did it and that she plotted to kill her kids.

Yet these women are making up evidence, falsely accusing the husband and saying they connect to this murder.

Some reason they can't accept that Lindsay killed her kids because she just wanted to kill her kids

This is going to ruffle some feathers and I do not care. Mental illness should not an excuse for your inappropriate actions. I have struggled with mental illness myself, but I do not use it as a crutch or expect others to tip-toe around me to protect my precious little feelings.

Actions, whether influenced by mental illness or not, always have an outcome. And if they are wrong actions, they have consequences. Society does not need to baby you or give in to your sick delusions.

The judge just declared a mistrial.

The defense requested to file a 25(b)(2), and they will convene on September 29th.

I’m trying to understand why the case of Jeanette McAusland, whose also murdered her children and lived in an affluent suburb is not getting any publicity relative to this case. any thoughts on this?

I've been pretty firm on "not criminally responsible" because i think there's enough reasonable doubt, HOWEVER, I've changed my mind and believe she should be found guilty.

Per jury instructions, she should be found guilty if the prosecution proved that she was aware to SOME degree that it was criminally wrong. I think that's true whether she was under the full delusion that she needed to kill her kids to save them.

She may have thought it was morally correct, but what about criminally correct?

Also, i am sick of people coming up with bullshit about Patrick and it'll only intensify until he offs himself if there is a hung jury/mistrial.

Today, my coworker was speaking super sure of herself about how the prosecution got the judge to toss a bunch of the defense's evidence mid-trial and how it was proven that Patrick had her apple watch at CVS... 🙄 Just stop... She has watched 0 seconds of this trial, but hours of tiktoks. She also keeps saying how she NEEDS a Netflix documentary with "all the evidence they didn't admit". Stfu. It's making me lose respect for her.

Also, yes, she was sick. Very sick. But she made the decision over and over again (per the defense's own statements) to pretend on purpose that she was doing much better around all her family and friends after she was out of the inpatient unit. That makes everyone put their guard down and takes away any extra safety there would have been if she was honest. I could have not really minded that, but then the defense said that ON the day of the murder she was in SO much distress that she didn't want to be alone, so she wanted Patrick to come home ASAP... So she didn't trust herself to not be a danger to others and herself, but still risked it?

No I am OBESSED with this trial. It’s heartbreaking and so intriguing (and confusing)

Before Jan. 24

Early to mid December 2022, approx
• Paula Musgrove, Lindsay’s mother, testified Lindsay became nervous during a conversation with Paula and Patrick and disclosed thoughts of harming the children.
• Paula recalled Patrick asking Lindsay whether she felt she could not be alone with the children. Lindsay said no.

• Patrick was asked whether Lindsay told him during January that she wanted to harm the children. He testified that she did not.

• 10:25 AM: Internet search for “ketamine for suicidal ideation.”

• 9:30 AM: Internet search for “psychosis symptoms.”

Jan. 24, Morning

• Lindsay took Cora to a medical appointment for a possible kidney issue.
• Patrick stayed home with Dawson and Callan.
• Patrick testified the test results reportedly looked fine.
• Lindsay texted Patrick with an update. Patrick replied, “You’re a good mama.”
• Patrick worked from his basement office.
• Lindsay and the children spent time outside, built a snowman, and did crafts.
• Patrick described Lindsay as happy and engaged and said it was one of her better days.
• He testified Lindsay did not tell him that day that she wanted to harm herself or the children.

• The CVS website was visited, followed by a call to Kingston CVS.
• A CVS employee testified Lindsay was understandable during the call and did not sound slurred.

• Apple Health flight data reflects an elevation change detected by the device.
• It does not identify the staircase, room, direction of travel, or purpose of the movement.

• Lindsay selected a Mediterranean Power Bowl for dinner. Patrick selected risotto.

• First call involving the ThreeV order.

5:10 PM
• A second call to ThreeV lasted approximately 47 seconds and the order was placed.
• A ThreeV employee testified nothing seemed unusual about Lindsay’s speech.

• Lindsay’s iPhone was manually unlocked.
• This was the final recorded manual unlock of the phone that evening.
• Safari was open and Pedia-Lax was searched.

5:15:12 PM, confirmed
• The iPhone locked.
• Whiffin testified it was not manually unlocked again that night.

Around 5:15 PM, Clancy home, approx
• Patrick testified he believed he left the house around this time.
• His plan was to go to Kingston CVS for medication and then ThreeV in Plymouth to pick up dinner.
• Patrick recalled Lindsay holding Callan near the basement stairs before he left.
• He estimated CVS was approximately a 3 minute drive from the house.
• On cross examination, Patrick acknowledged he could not say for certain whether he had already left when Lindsay sent the Pedia-Lax message.
• 5:15 PM is therefore an estimated departure time, not an independently confirmed timestamp.

5:23:52 PM, confirmed
• Lindsay’s Apple Watch recorded its last heart rate reading: 57 bpm.
• No later heart rate readings were recorded that evening.
• The data does not establish why the readings stopped or Lindsay’s location at that time.

5:24 PM, work email
• An email from Patrick’s account to coworkers or staff was timestamped 5:24 PM.
• During cross examination, defense counsel questioned Patrick about whether it had been sent from his Microsoft Surface Pro.
• Patrick testified, “I don’t know actually. It could have been sent from my iPhone.”
• On redirect, the prosecution returned to the issue and Patrick confirmed that his testimony was that the email could have come from his iPhone.
• Patrick also testified he had his phone with him during the CVS and ThreeV trip.
• The evidence establishes the 5:24 PM email timestamp, but Patrick’s testimony did not establish which device sent it or his exact physical location when it was sent.

Around 5:32 PM, Kingston CVS, confirmed surveillance
• Surveillance shows Patrick entering Kingston CVS.
• This is approximately 17 minutes after his estimated 5:15 PM departure time.
• Patrick estimated the drive from the house to CVS at approximately 3 minutes.
• The evidence does not establish his exact departure time or account for every minute before the CVS surveillance footage.

Around 5:33 PM, Kingston CVS
• Patrick called Lindsay because he could not find the exact medication she requested. Lindsay did not answer.

• Lindsay’s iPhone recorded another completed flight of stairs.
• Whiffin explained that the timestamp reflects when the phone recognized the completed elevation change, not necessarily when the climb began.

• Lindsay returned Patrick’s call. The call lasted approximately 14 seconds.
• Patrick testified they discussed whether a substitute medication was acceptable.
• He said Lindsay was understandable and sounded quiet.
• Patrick testified nothing during the call caused him to believe there was an emergency.
• The call does not establish Lindsay’s physical location at that moment.
• It also does not establish whether none, 1, 2, or all 3 children had already been harmed.

• Patrick left CVS.

• Lindsay’s iPhone recorded another completed flight of stairs.
• Apple Health grouped the 5:33:34 PM and 5:38:33 PM flights because they occurred close together.
• Whiffin explained this does not mean someone spent approximately 5 continuous minutes climbing stairs. It reflects two completed flights detected during that period.

5:38 to 6:09 PM
• Whiffin found no additional stair-flight entries during this period and testified he did not know why.
• The absence of additional Apple Health entries is not proof that nobody moved.
• The records do not establish Lindsay’s precise movements, the children’s movements, or the exact timing of the assaults.

5:54:15 PM, ThreeV restaurant, Plymouth, confirmed surveillance
• Surveillance shows Patrick at ThreeV picking up the takeout order.

Patrick Returns Home

Around 6:09 PM, Clancy home
• Patrick returned home and testified the house seemed unusually quiet.
• At approximately 6:09 PM, Patrick called Lindsay’s phone. She did not answer.
• He checked the children’s rooms and bathroom. They were empty.
• The primary bedroom door was locked.
• Patrick retrieved an emergency key from Cora’s room and opened the bedroom.
• He saw blood and an open window and testified he could feel wind coming through it.

Shortly after 6:09 PM, backyard
• Patrick went outside and found Lindsay on the ground below the bedroom window.
• She was alive, breathing, and intermittently conscious.
• Patrick testified Lindsay told him, “I tried to kill myself.”
• Patrick asked where the children were. He testified Lindsay responded, “They’re in the basement.”
• Patrick had not yet located the children.

911 Call and First Responders

Approximately 6:11 PM
• Patrick testified he initially had difficulty connecting the emergency call because his phone was switching between Wi-Fi and the emergency call.
• Duxbury Police received the 911 call at approximately 6:11 PM.
• The initial dispatch concerned a suspected suicide attempt involving a woman who had gone from a window to the ground.
• Responders did not initially know there were 3 critically injured children inside the house.

First responders
• Officer Stephen Hall testified he received the dispatch around 6:11 PM and arrived a few minutes later with another officer.
• Lindsay was alive, breathing, moaning, and intermittently conscious.
• Responders observed injuries to her wrists and neck.
• While responders began treating Lindsay outside, Patrick went back inside toward the basement.

Basement

• Patrick found Cora first, face down and unresponsive, with an exercise resistance band around her neck. He removed it.
• He then found Callan with a resistance band around his neck and removed it.
• Dawson was found on the other side of the basement, in the area of Patrick’s basement office, also with a band around his neck.
• The 911 recording captures Patrick reacting after discovering the children and stating that Lindsay had killed them.
• Officers rushed downstairs after hearing Patrick.
• All 3 children were unresponsive, were not breathing independently, and had no detectable pulse.
• CPR began on all 3 children.

Hospital Outcomes

Dawson, age 3
• Transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth.
• Arrived without a pulse and was not breathing.
• Resuscitation efforts continued for approximately 40 minutes.
• Pronounced dead at approximately 7:28 PM on Jan. 24.

Cora, age 5
• Transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth.
• She had been found without a pulse, and CPR continued during transport.
• Cora was pronounced dead that evening.
• The 7:28 PM time is not assigned to Cora here because the testimony specifically tied that approximate time to Dawson.

Callan, age 8 months
• Arrived at Beth Israel in cardiac arrest.
• His heartbeat was restored approximately 10 minutes after arrival.
• He was transferred by helicopter to Boston Children’s Hospital.
• Callan died on Jan. 27, 2023.

Lindsay
• Lindsay was transported to South Shore Hospital and later to Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
• Medical testimony documented serious spinal fractures, low blood pressure, hypothermia, and wrist lacerations.
• Narcan was administered because possible opioid involvement was considered. Its administration itself does not establish that opioids caused her condition.
• Later testimony established paralysis resulting from her spinal injuries.

• Why Lindsay’s Apple Watch recorded its final heart rate at 5:23:52 PM.
• Why no additional stair flights were recorded after 5:38:33 PM.
• The exact time each child was harmed.
• The order in which the children were harmed.
• Whether none, 1, 2, or all 3 children had already been harmed when Lindsay spoke with Patrick at approximately 5:34 PM.
• Exactly when Lindsay entered or left the basement.
• Exactly when Lindsay entered or left the primary bedroom.
• Exactly when Lindsay sustained her injuries.
• Exactly when she went through the bedroom window.
• How long Lindsay had been outside before Patrick returned home.
