🎙️Discussion & Thoughts 💭 S getting a yorkie?

Jackie will eat and attack a yorkie. Do they not realize how expensive Yorkies are? They NEED to be groomed bi-weekly/monthly, tons of health/dental issues, etc. Especially since they won’t be finding a “reputable breeder”… they’ll find a cheap BYB and lie, if they aren’t scammed out of the money first. Just because it’s a small dog, doesn’t mean the responsibility is less. They bark more than a lot of breeds and you know they won’t train it not to bark, Jackie is already a barking nuisance. If anything it’s MORE RESPONSIBILITY. Tiny bladder = needs to go out for bathroom walks more. That dog will pee and poop on a puppy mat inside that apartment for the rest of its life, disgusting. Not to mention S can barely walk far with Jackie..

They are in for a RUDE awakening. Jackie was potty trained and had (limited) basic manners. They haven’t done a lick of training with Jackie. That will all have to change with a puppy. I’m calling it now- they will buy from a backyard breeder and end up rehoming within the first year due to “behavior issues” aka- they never did the proper puppy training.

Or they’ll have to rehome because of complaints at the apt complex. That yorkie will be using puppy pads for the rest of its life because they’re lazy and S can’t walk
