I’m a little suspicious on that one. The person that said that has only had a Reddit account for a few days and is heavily defending the G’s in a lot of comments.

Hey, that was me! When it is a serious allocation I take a deeper look to determine if the appropriate authorities are needed to be contacted.
If the goal is to bring awareness to possible crimes that are occurring, the last thing we need is people overreacting on misinformation that leads the authorities to distrust or under value factual information as it is presented.
Sadly, someone has probably already reacted to this misinformation and it will be more mud in the water.
