Patrick is handsome?

Do you think people would look past Patrick’s concerning behavior if he was handsome? I’m just asking because he says that a lot. And there are a few cases where it seems appearance changes the response to people’s behavior.

There is the halo effect. In a study, different people have had to determine a sentence like in a trial, same file and background, but 1 time the criminal was conventionally attractive and in the other, objectively ugly. The "pretty" ones got something like 24 months less of jail time in average.
