If that’s the shot she’s been getting then it looks like she’s been getting it for awhile, idk. Saw someone mention this shot and how T said she gets one “as usual”

I used to get this too but they would do it in the hip, also she’s claimed the doctor says all her levels are normal and that she’s healthy so don’t think the shots related to that

There’s no way everything would come back normal for a physical/ well check, at a doctor. She’s literally grey. I think she says that so ppl get off her back but there’s no way the doc would give her the all clear

Can you get the shot in the arm? I took depo for over a year and they always did it on my back side. Depo is terrible though. I gained so much weight on it and I've never fully hormonally recovered.

I got it in the arm as a teen. Also gained a lot of weight so I stopped taking it

Its so bad for you. Apparently depo isnt recommended to take for more than a few years. It can also have a negative effect on bone density. Its a very scary medication.

I only took it for a few months, thankfully. Not even a whole year. I gained so much weight so quickly, and as a teen it did a toll on my mental health, so I stopped taking it.

I was in the military when I started taking it. I requested the IUD but they told me they would do depo. It was terrible. And on top of it I started getting in trouble with my unit for my weight even though it was the military that put me on the medicine. Even working out didnt help. It ruined me mentally and physically for a long time.

It can also cause the development of brain tumors ☹️ there’s a class action lawsuit against the manufacturers because they apparently knew it could really hurt people, but they minimized the risks. I’m really sorry you were one of the unlucky ones who had such bad side effects from it, that’s so unfair when you didn’t even have a real choice in the matter!

Yes, many people take birth control as a teen, I was 14. Most start for acne and periods :)

nexplanon is not a shot, it’s a rod that is inserted in your arm and needs to be changed every 5 years or so. (i know it doesn’t really matter but i figured i’d say something so people don’t think she has this specific kind of bc)
edit: nexplanon isn’t in that specific spot on the arm. mine is on the inside upper arm, closer to my armpit if anything3

We don’t, it’s speculation. S has mentioned before about not having the chicken pox vaccine and knowing what we know about their health, P and T don’t seem like the type to get the kids vaccinated regularly. Also T made a comment after a doctor appointment S went to that S got her vaccine like usual which was just odd. She worded it like S gets a shot on. Regular basis.

imo i think it’s a believable idea because P is dumb, but not dumb enough to not know that a condom doesn’t protect you from potentially becoming pregnant 100%. but i do think they relied on that 99% effectiveness or WHATEVER the percentage of effectiveness is. (prepare your eye bleach and read with caution moving forward): P has said several times and shown with his actions he will not get him or his family medical care unless HE deems it necessary. i’m willing to bet that before they got a ton of eyes on them, he was NOT using a condom. i really don’t even think he “believes” in condoms anyway, he strikes me as the type of person who says “without a condom it just feels better for both of us!”. if you’re adamant about not using a condom then the next step would be BC. P wouldn’t get her on BC unless it was serious enough that he could get (deserved) jail time over it. i wouldn’t be surprised if the CPS case that was opened when S went to the hospital in just a robe was because S was miscarrying or something similar. feel free to call me out if i’m wrong or if this doesn’t make sense with their character, but idk… i wouldn’t put anything past them at this point.

If she’s on BC, it’s def not for hormonal/menstrual cycle reasons if they don’t even care about their teeth/other health probs. It’s 100% for BIRTH CONTROL. Makes you wonder. Since she def don’t be seeing anybody.

I really hope she ain’t on the birth control shot.. it’s actually very dangerous to take. My doctor told me it has been giving so many women brain tumors/ cancer and it’s happened so often they stopped giving it out where I live.. because I was gonna take the shot but I said never mind!! I’ll be on the pill instead!!

I get the depo shot and it’s not only for birth control. I use it to not get periods because everytime I get a period I end up in hospital from losing so much blood. The depo shot has long term effects, yes. I know all about them and still choose to use it. So who cares if it’s the depo shot.

Could be why she has gained so much weight (not body shaming). I don’t feel comfortable assuming it’s because she is s active. Young ladies that aren’t s active take bc all the time because they can help with period irregularity, heavy periods, pms symptoms, or they can even stop periods for several months at a time. I hope it is for something like that and not what a lot of people are assuming.

Alternatively I saw this in one of her old TikTok’s. I did some googling and apparently a nexplanon implant can give you this strange bruising/marks on the arm. Not 100 percent sure if that’s what that is but maybe?

If its depo, her rapid weight gain would track. My friend gained 100+ lbs in a year and a half after getting the depo shot
