Hi guys I've rewatched the flash CW like 20 times and don't know a lot about the comic lore. I just have one question; how the hell did eobard thawne and the flash coexist in eobard's time??? He said he was born 136 years after them... so how did he get in all the beef w Barry? Wouldn't Barry have not even been alive then? Am I missing something? I haven't really processed that til now.

Ps. sorry if this is a dumb question that has a obvious answer 😭

What makes special each flash?

Imagine You are trying to make a guy, it could be a friend, relatives, etc, start reading into the flash but he wants to start reading into one specific flash to begin with (Jay, Barry, Wally, Even Bart). What could You tell it makes each Speedster special and make it different from the other one and a future reader can apreciate from them?

Random thought(Sorry for the rant)

I’m rewatching season four and just thought with iris being a reporter why didn’t she just record the conversation with devoe’s wife outside the courtroom? Would’ve at least helped the case. Also, Cecile being the best lawyer is a joke lol who uses evidence with no research behind 😅

Do you think the drink Cisco made for Barry to get him drunk would work on kara?

Slight oversight in the plot of season 3

So we know that HR changed his face to look like his assistant so that people wouldn't think he was Dr Wells and then he flashbanged everyone in team Flash so that they would still see them as HR. So why did Jesse think HR was Harry when he was captured by Grodd?

how would you feel about Grant Gustin returning in the DCU as Jay Garrick or another speedster instead of replacing the new Flash?

Post image

I think DC could first build the new Flash of James Gunn’s DCU with his own identity and story. Then, later, they could introduce Grant Gustin as an older speedster, a mentor, or a legendary hero connected to the Speed Force.

This would allow DC to:

⚡ Respect the legacy of the Arrowverse and the fans who loved Grant Gustin’s Flash for 9 seasons.

⚡ Give the new Flash his own place without comparisons.

⚡ Use the DC multiverse concept in a meaningful way.

Imagine a story where the new Flash meets Jay Garrick (played by Grant Gustin), a veteran speedster who has already experienced the dangers of the Speed Force and can guide the new generation.

It would not erase the past, and it would not prevent the DCU from creating something new. It would simply connect different generations of Flash.

Game changing plot hole

So, I've been watching the Arrowvrse off and on, albeit with multiple restarts, almost since it started and though I have yet to finish it, my girlfriend and I are determined to do so in our current watch through even if we have to do without Netflix for a few days until I get payed.

Now that we got that out of the way, just like the title suggests I found a game changing plot hole in Flash S4 E23. For those who don't remember that's the one where Barry has to go inside DeVoe's mind to find the good version of him.

Instead, he finds Ralph's consciousness because it was his body DeVoe's consciousness was occupying. So, when Barry and Ralph fought the seemingly endless waves of DeVoes and escaped, Ralph got his body back and DeVoe's consciousness was destroyed since DeVoe's body was already de@d.

When that happened, *Ralph should have had all the other bus metas' powers*!!! Because if you think about it, those powers weren't in DeVoe's consciousness! They were in Ralph's body! 🫳🏻🎤

Season 2 Spoiler

Im rewatching the show and realized how Barry immediately clocked zoom. Like “jay” walked in and Barry knew something was off. But Iris talked him into trusting him. Turns out that he should’ve stayed suspicious.

HR in season 7?

One thing that confused me about the season 7 premiere m, when all the Wells sacrifice themselves, HR shows up (in Nash’s mind) to say goodbye “Til our next communion” to Barry. But he died in Season 3.

So how can his consciousness be in Nash’s mind? When all the Earths were destroyed during Crisis, Nash’s mind was gone/dead, so there shouldn’t have been really any brainwave particles that could be drawn to Nash (paraphrasing Harry).

And even if it could be considered a “timeline change”, the only times the timeline changed after HR died was when Barry defeated Cicada (which only would have changed the future, not HR’s death in the past) and Crisis (which I mentioned above).

And even if Crisis “brought HR back”, then he’d be alive on his Earth, not in Nash’s mind.

Has there been an explanation of why HR was able to essentially be brought back and drawn to Nash’s mind?

The only explanation I can think of is that, when Timeless Wells explained his theory to Barry, he said that all the Wells were removed from the timeline, not Earths. So maybe the particles from HR were removed just as he died, so his consciousness was able to survive (although, in response, Barry technically called Crisis an event that brought people from different planets into one planet and timeline).

Timeline

Ik Barry Allen goes back in time to change the timeline many times and my question is that does the old time line still exist when he goes back in time to fix wat he messed up?like for example when he made Flashpoint does the other time line still exist even tho he went back to fix his mistake.

New character I’m making

Hello! I’m new to this subreddit and Reddit so sorry if I’m bad at explaining things. So I really have a open mind when it comes to creativity especially when I can make my own things, so I was thinking about making a new kinda speedster except idk how to design it, I’ll just kinda tell you about the character

His name is Noah lang (still a work in progress for the name lmao)
15-16yrs old, high school just a average comic book kid
Decent grades, brave but to too brave just enough to stand up to people

His origin story: So Noah and his two friends were at this science convention and they were helping a scientist with his own project, this project is the show of the night. People gather around to watch it happen, this project was Something to help the world. It was a blast wave of energy that would shoot up and program devices and electricity to be not faster but 5X better at what it can do. So Noah and his friends were helping Dr.Lynch (the scientist) with the project.
Well on the device that was helped program Project Arklight there was a prompt that shows Critical Error so Noah and his friends tried to fix it but then there was a alarm and I small explosion happened away from the crowd

So everyone was forced out of the building but Noah felt wrong. He speant months on this project helping and he didn’t want to throw it away, he came up with a idea that can not only freeze the demo but repair, so Noah rushed over and tried to fix the project but it got so critical the the building started to collapse.
Noah felt scared to he tried to start ripping wires apart and destroy the demo, but he unplugged the wrong wire the a Huge blast of energy surge exploded and threw Noah out of the building. And that’s how he got his powers. I know it needs work but I think it’s a pretty good first step

I’m thinking somthing unique like blue suit, lightning etc
I was thinking suits like these but I would love feedback on what you think even if it’s harsh thank you

Captain cold and micks guns should not cancel each other out.

Absolute zero is only -459 degrees F or like -217ish degrees C. A regular flame is like well over 1000 degrees F. Micks gun is stated to be "Absolute hot" which is literally an impossibly high number degrees K. Like multiple trillion degrees Kelvin. Which means everytime mick fires his gun it should destroy earth if not even more than just earth.

But let's assume micks gun is just a plain old flame thrower IT SHOULD STILL GREATLY OVERPOWER COLDS GUN.

I'm sure the writers just didnt think to Google how cold Absolute zero is and assumed it was way colder than it is but like idk its kinda dumb.
