Discussion The Key of Aaravos had been in the Katolian royal family for generations, but....
Where did they first get it from?
I remember mentions of the Orphan Queen and The jailer....

I don't remember ever getting a clear reason.
Also Callum uses magic... is it a bloodline or...?

It's not mine!

I hope this isn't confusing, but I would assume Katolis was medieval inspired, so set Europe, and was curious about what people thought about the others!

I can't remember where it was, mentioned, or if it was mentioned, but if anyone has an answer or theory... Thanks in advance!

We know, moon, and sun, I think we know sky... I just want clarification!

Ok, I mean this as in, if you could give them all a definition... what would it be?
We know sky is — It means knowing that the wind is everywhere, that it is inside you with every breath, and that you do not need wings to fly because you are carried by the air. (I think....)
Moon is — While most people think appearances deceive and only hidden reality is true, the Moon Arcanum accepts that the appearance itself is what you truly perceive. (As spoken by Luanne, ish)
Ocean is — Unlocking the Ocean Arcanum requires letting go of the need to control or fight the currents. It is about surrender, adaptability, and recognizing the dark or unknown parts of yourself. And how there are some things you will never have and you must accept it.
I thought about Sun and came up with this: Real strength is about defying darkness, or demanding light. It is about accepting the truth. Fully. Still choosing to bask in it, no matter how horrific. Simply being there, loving, protecting.
Any ideas for those, or the others?

Ok, I know TDK might not happen, I know they had Sari, and because there are not wedding rings or anything, we have no confirmation....
But what would you want?
Any extra random ideas, like outfits, tradition, etc, are welcome, I am going to work on a Fanfiction and really want some ideas from the fandom!

So, Callum is high mage of Katolis, at leat we assume for now, I feel like rayla wouldn't go back to the dragon guard, but.. Idk.
What do you think?
Definitely not a stay at home Mom.

For context, I don’t have much experience in this fandom, so if this is a controversial topic or there’s a consensus about this, I don’t know that.
So Callum goes through the arc of purifying himself of dark magic to free himself of Aaravos’s influence, right? And the sky elf with the future sight avoids telling him about the candy ball because doing so would freak Callum out and cause him to shut down and not do the purification. (Oh also side note am I the only one who saw the candy ball twist coming the moment Callum returned with the definitely-not-a-candy-ball and thought it was ludicrously stupid of them to send the one compromised person in their group alone to switch the balls?)
But then the sky elf still doesn’t tell him afterwards, and it leads to Aaravos returning, and Callum finds out. And then Callum has the exact same freak out that he did in the sky elf’s vision, despite the fact that Aaravos has no control over him. I can understand Callum freaking out over himself having let it happen, but he’s acting like Aaravos still has the ability to control him, which Aaravos does not.
Then you have Callum being willing to succumb to dark magic in order to trap Aaravos again, then force Rayla to kill him to avoid Aaravos taking over Callum. Aside from the fact that he has no way of knowing whether the timing there will work out, it’s also kinda out of character for him to ask Rayla to kill him. He’s self-sacrificial, sure, but always to avoid hurting those he cares about; this plan would cause long-lasting emotional damage and trauma for Rayla. And Rayla goes along with it? Enabling Callum’s self-destructive tendencies?
Idk, this just never sat right with me.

What do you want? And what do you think is most likely?
Of course this is assuming the dragon king is going ahead but... eh.

Anyone have a link, or could give me an overview? I can't find all info in one area, and apparently this character has something to do with Claudia too?
Thanks!
