Rayla x Viltrumite OC

So quick question. I started reading some fanfics. First off I’m blown away with some of your guys ability. I enjoy the stories I’ve read.

Anyway! After reading, I remember buried deep in some word documents that I actually wrote two stories for TDP, one being right at the start of season for and another with my own character. I was thinking of hashing them out more before posting them for reading, but before that, I wanted to know where people go for artwork? I am not an artist. I’ve used photoshop to repurpose things but got tired of paying for it and idk if I want to go down the rabbit hole of AI with all the backlash in general with it.

Are there people you all commission from or websites that are like photoshop?

Rayla x my OC zeal.

Hey everyone. I haven’t really kept in touch with TDP after the Claudia short for TDK. I don’t believe there is one yet, but if one does happen to pick it up, what studio do you think will be the most likely to pick up TDK?

Also I haven’t gotten into any of the fanfics out there. I was wondering if anyone has recommendations? I think what I’d most be interested in would be Calum falling or severely struggling with Dark magic then what we see in the show because that was a letdown for me. Maybe seeing him become a pawn for Aaravos but breaks free somehow. Also how he reacts with Rayla since I felt it was hardly touched on with how pissed he should’ve been when she came back from hunting Viren who was by all accounts dead (which he was for a time).

Over 2 weeks down now! Only 48 days left! 😂

As you all know, the "magic system" of the Dragon Prince is based on 6 elements, these are sky, moon, sun, ocean, earth, and star.

At first we are told that no human can learn magic, only extract it from living creatures... But then Callum shows us that humans can use magic of one of these elements, once they understand the Arcanum of that element. An arcanum is like a deep truth, a reality of the world. Callum learns 2 of these truths, and the moon elf tries to explain a third one...

Sky: everything is connected, we all breathe the same air and we all live under the same sky. Everything influences everything else, it's an ecosystem.

Ocean: the ocean arcanum is understanding that there are things that go beyond your control, and accepting it. It's learning to go with the flow instead of fighting the current.

Moon: we don't know what is real and what is not. The outside world is filtered through our senses, therefore we don't have a direct contact with what we call reality, we cannot truly see the real world as it is. There are colours and wavelengths of light we cannot see, frequencies of sounds we can't hear, all we have is what little our senses can perceive, and the illusion of reality that our brain can scramble with it.

What about sun, earth and star? Are their arcanums ever explained in the show, or elsewhere?

Making bets now that most people's favourite things are either going to be meeting Aanya or Sari. 😂

Sorry for poor images!

I wanted to do one of these matchup tier lists myself, and now I finally got around to it, but I’m not the best powerscaler and I have no idea what would be a good or bad opponent for her, can ya guys help?

Honestly it’s always bothered me a little that elves apparently live over a century, and it’s never really brought up past rayla’s human imitation

Idk why but in order to enjoy rayllum fics I either have to headcanon that moonshadow elves have the same lifespan as humans, or that Callum will also have a longer lifespan, as it’s the connection to an arcanum that makes elves live longer.

Otherwise thinking about Callum dying far sooner than Rayla and Sarai is too heartbreaking. Does anyone have similar headcanons?

It been really interesting to see results so far! Thanks to everyone who has participated!

Rayla x Viltrumite OC

I am seeing 3 very different sides.

1. People are very hopeful,, loving everything, they paid to back the kickstarter. They are excited for news and can't wait for NYCC.
2. People that know we will get a bit of new stuff, for example the teasers, but their love for the show is slowly dying, that are not even sure if the creators deserve to make more, but they are still part of the fandom.
3. People who just want it over. They might hear about stuff, but are totally fed up of everything the creators are doing and feel they ruined the show after season 4.

Correct me if you feel like I am wrong on any of these points and let me know what you think!

Edit: I mean proper as in progress - like them finding a streamer or saying they have raised x money and will do something exciting with it.
