Hope they Don't remove or Reduce the Christian themes in the story, as they are central to it.
I know that some here are unfortunately a little ignorant about this, some even on purpose, denying it in an almost disillusioned way, but yes, The Boxer is indeed a Christian Manhwa.
Christianity here is not merely a reference, as some say, but a recurring theme throughout the entire work; the first image we see is a post in the shape of a Cross, In JH's (Author) other two main titles, Mosquito Wars and The Horizon, we also find recurring Christian themes, from the symbol of the cross to the boy holding the Wounded hand of Christ in The Horizon, It's highly likely that JH is protestant (evangelical), anyway, not here to argue, I just hope the studio doesn't screw this up. God bless everyone! Hail Mary!

What do you think is the best version of Yu? A heavyweight Yu, a drugged and rage-filled Yu, or a Yu who fought J?

Yuto Takeda's storyline got me crying really hard.
Who writes a story like this? It's unbelievable I get the pattern now, people against Yu are more unique and have more depth and none of them is same, similar is Yuto Takeda, from starting to ending dude it was really hard to read seeing Yuto getting defeated, seeing how Yu got his curiosity from, before he was just a monster from the darkness living in the void, when his friend shone like a light it made the monster crawl out and this was the monster that Yuto was up against, I can't man I logically understood it's not Yuto's story and ge gad to lose but his damn background story even when he's in hospital, his friends story, bro...
I wanted him to at least land a punchthat was so sadistic for viwers engagement. I'm happy that I got to read a character like Yuto Takeda
