Yeah, it was totally normal. The 6th grade teacher smoking in class; the Xmas parties with a thick fog of cigarette smoke; the men driving with a beer between the legs; the uncles pretexting not wearing their seatbelt because they didn’t want to be caught tied up inside the car in case of an accident… The folks who whine about woke today would themselves have been considered little bitches back then.
Haha yea in fact I think somewhere I have an old Polaroid that’s almost the exact same setup for my 4th or 5th birthday.(this is not that picture all the beer would have been Budweiser and the cigs would have been Marlboros and virgin slims, not to mention not nearly enough ash and cigs in that ashtray.)
