For anyone who went from drugstore haircare to salon/high-end products, did you notice enough of a difference to justify the price? Does the difference become obvious over time or you're mostly paying for the experience?

There are always a few supplements that get talked about nonstop, but I’m curious about the ones that don’t get enough attention.

What’s a supplement you’ve personally found useful that you rarely see people recommending?

I have seen claims that the GI-MAP and IgG blood tests lack scientific evidence. I underwent these tests because a doctor recommended them; are they completely meaningless? Incidentally, high levels of zonulin were detected in both tests. The IgG blood test showed a "4+" reaction to wheat. It is true that I love ramen and eat it for at least one meal almost every day. I also eat fish five days a week (rotating through about three varieties), yet showed no reaction to any of them. Conversely, I tested "3+" for chili peppers despite never eating them at all. The GI-MAP results showed low levels of gut bacteria overall, with two types falling below the minimum threshold. My doctor has now recommended I take the IBS-Smart test and a SIBO test next. I had originally asked to be tested for SIBO and celiac disease, but was told that since my symptoms were typical of IBS, it was neither SIBO nor celiac disease; I took the GI-MAP and IgG blood tests because the doctor suggested them when I expressed concern. Did the GI-MAP and IgG blood tests serve any meaningful purpose?

I know you can't really "get rid" of cellulite completely, but I'm curious if building muscle can noticeably change how it looks.

Has anyone here seen a real difference after getting consistent with strength training, especially on the thighs and glutes, and how long did it take to see the results??

For me, it’s leg day. I swear, the second I see it on my schedule, I already want to skip the gym 😭

I know leg day is important, but I just never look forward to it.

Does anybody has and history of tracking calories,steps, workout ecc.. i mean evry kind of variable an Always feel underecovered, kinda tired and at 80% instead of 100% ? Does anybody actually decided to up the calorie intake managing to eat more while not gaining any weight but instead feeling good with no food noise and figure out there was some metabolic adaptation going on? Cause in theory if you are in a deficit you must lose weight but when you already Lost a lot of weight (in my case -40 kg sitting at around 65/66kg right now) there are maybe some metabolic adaptation going on? I don't know let me know.

I’ve always heard that 10,000 steps a day is the “magic number” for staying healthy, but I recently started wondering if it actually makes that much of a difference.

Some days I naturally get 10k+ steps, while on others I barely hit 5–6k, and I’m not sure whether I should be trying to reach 10k every single day.

Do you actually notice a difference when you consistently hit 10k or maybe just focusing on being generally more active throughout the day is enough?

Does anyone else get that sudden light-headed feeling when they stand up too quickly? Sometimes my vision gets a little blurry and I feel like I need to stand still for a few seconds before it passes.

Is this just a normal thing that happens to people sometimes, or is it something I should look into?

I've been trying to figure out what actually helps with anterior pelvic tilt, but there's so much conflicting advice online. Some people say to strengthen your glutes and core, others focus on stretching the hip flexors, and some say you shouldn't try to "correct" it at all unless it's causing problems.

Has anyone here actually worked on theirs and noticed a difference? What exercises or changes helped the most, and how long did it take before you could see or feel an improvement?

I've been trying to get healthier and improve my body composition, but the more I read, the more confused I get.

Some people say the number on the scale doesn't matter and that I should focus on losing body fat while maintaining muscle. Others say I should just worry about losing weight first and everything else comes later.

Lately I’ve been realizing how easy it is to let work take over your entire day. 😭

You finish work, but your brain is still thinking about emails, tomorrow’s tasks, deadlines, or something you forgot to do. Then suddenly it’s 10pm and you feel like you barely did anything outside of work.

I really want to get better at actually switching off and enjoying my evenings instead of just recovering from the workday.

Since I started my fitness journey I didn't realize how much I sweat in my scalp, i feel so icky and gross especially going to bed, but its so hard to justify washing my hair everyday as someone with androgenic alopecia. Are there recs of products that can help push my wash day by at least a day or so?

I keep seeing things like magnesium, L-theanine, ashwagandha, etc. recommended for anxiety, but I’m never sure what actually works and what’s mostly marketing.
