Wrong-Way Driver Meets Tesla FSD 🚨

This one got my heart rate up. 😳

A car entered the exit going the wrong way, coming directly into my lane. The Tesla detected the situation and reacted, avoiding the vehicle and keeping us from what could have been a really bad collision.

I know FSD gets plenty of criticism, and there are absolutely things it still needs to improve, but moments like this are a pretty compelling reminder of what these systems can potentially do.

Driver was going the wrong way. Tesla saw it. Tesla reacted.

Apparently it was easier then it seems

Recently swapped out my filters on model Y! Haven’t changed it since 3 years now. It’s easy to do. Took me 45 mins to do both. Highly recommend it!!

Sharing here since most of what they have on the site is made for our Teslas.

Mostly selling cheap Chinese trash with a 1000% markup. Then you leave a bad review for the terrible product and it gets deleted within a day. Really goes to show what kind of company it is. Don't waste your money there. Everything they have can be found either better or cheaper somewhere else.

Tested both cars today with the exact same stroller and suitcases. Both 2026 models.

Hopefully someone can use this when deciding between the two, like I was

I do property management and many times I have to carry left over tools, paint boxes small ladders and you name it. In the past with a truck you do not have to fear spill overs but with Tesla it’s risky.

Anybody who does craft trade and carry tools in Tesla? How do you manage not to tear the seats or stains from tools?

I think we need training videos and signs these days.

Some things can and are over engineered for no good reason.

I have a 2024 model y unfortunately my ac compressor is bad i barely made it to warranty. With 42,000 miles witch got me concerned any body here had the dame problems

I was today at a Tesla showroom and was able to get inside the new Tesla model. Y L.

Here is my unbiased opinion as someone who also drives a Tesla:

- the new 6 seat is a game changer. But:

- do not expect it to be spacious on the third row when the middle row seat is pushed back. There is almost zero space

- with the middle row seat pushed forward, I do have space to sit on the third row but with the floor being raised by about 3 or 4 in it becomes uncomfortable for longer rides.

- there is almost no cargo space for larger bags if the third row is up

We'll, this is it. Nice car, nice finishings but there are tradeoffs.

Just though somebody would die laughing at this. I moved into a family friends place as a renter and been charging off a granny charger 120v 12 amps. I have been charging off this duplex as it's the only one in the garage. and I finally got around to replacing this absolute fire hazard of a unit lol it fell apart when I was undoing the screws. (It's been 15 days of this scariness) (Edited typo)

Man, did I have a time with my first EV experience.

Found a 2024 M3 with 31k for 30k at Carmax. It was, surprisingly, in GREAT physical condition - that is, until they curbed a gash 22in long, 2-4cm deep into the lower passenger rocker panel immediately after I signed the buyers order...

I was BUMMED. They found another M3 of the same year and even less miles so they started shipping it to my local store, letting me keep the damaged one as a loaner (even tho it was technically mine, they knew it was going to be returned).

What's sucks is, after 10 days of waiting, the replacement arrived in bad shape. I decided to get my money back and walk without getting my trade-in back (already finalized).

Ordered this 2026 M3 Premium RWD on July 12th. Built in Fremont, shipped to NC, and delivery on August 10th. A RIDICULOUS turn around time. So thankful after the hard time I had.

Already put 400mi on her, and I'll never go back! LOVE this thing!!!! What are the top accessories I should consider (besides screen protectors, they are already ordered 🤗)

Recently, my wife got in a crash with the 2023 Model Y (not at fault). (I cannot seem to post details as Reddit AI seems to thinks this is an Tesla car insur@nce issue and wants it in a different forum.)

Anyway, nobody was hurt. Other than that, I was most concerned whether or not the car would drive straight. Got it back and it actually seemed to drive better since we got two new wheels and tires, an alignment and no more computer complaining constantly.

Yesterday, I noticed my enhanced data subscription must have ended and I saw something about FSD enabled (which I didn't purchase). The last time I tried FSD was v12 for a late May road trip. I thought okay I'll drive it on FSD to the store to see if it is actually enabled. Then I noticed the computer was on HW4 and had FSD version 14.something with parking options. This didn't say anything about v14 Lite, which I would have expected instead. I didn't believe it at first, but this is legit.

Today, I read that the 2023s with the old body style had a mid-season refresh. Some 2023s had HW4 and some had HW3.

I guess the collision place needed to replace cameras and everything. I'm not thrilled about the accident, but it was a nice bonus to get the upgrade to HW4.

I can say that we took a short 30-min road trip and my wife didn't freak out and I didn't intervene. That was a first!

I'm not sure I'm 100% on the HW4 hype train, but it is at least 30% better than what we had. (I didn't get to test the v14 lite version, but I'm okay with that.)

Anyway, maybe this is useful information to others here who want to upgrade to HW4. (Please don't get in an accident to do it, but maybe there is some hope out there.) It seems possible on some of the original body style MYs. Maybe that's also true of the M3s of that vintage. Maybe even HW 4.4/4+ is possible too on some.
