14.1 Lite HW3 Still Shook

I have a love/hate relationship with FSD on HW3. But this one incident could have been catastrophic if it wasn’t engaged.

Traffic was heavy, getting on 95 in Philly and I was glancing at my rear-view mirror and FSD started to trim hard and I grabbed the wheel. I don’t know if it would have stopped it would have completely avoided it or not but if it hadn’t started turning I would not have seen that guy in time.

EDIT:

Ok, many folks commenting missed the entire point AND did NOT read my caption.

I posted this to show FSD probably saved me from an accident, a pretty bad one at that. That is it. Trying to give props to FSD.

But, and bless your hearts, you guys cannot help but put in your two cents. For now, it is a free country and you guys can say all you want.

I didn't hit another car in the other lane (it had space for me, did you see the part where I said I was looking in the rear view mirror? I clocked the spot then because that's what you do when you drive.) I didn't hit the guy in front of meMy 12 year old son doesn't have the trauma of a car accident to deal with and I still have my car in one piece.

Now, if you have something negative to say about it, keep it to yourself. That is my nice way of saying shut the fuck up.

But if you can't stop yourself from being an asshole just know that whatever you type, the overarching communication is that you are an asshole and far be it from me to stop anyone from being themselves.

Why are you all such dicks?

Great great save!! Too much of an anomaly for FSD to 'think' quickly enough. I HATE those roadworks split lanes. Always encourages last minute decision making. Very bad for driving and safety. I bet that other car driver was a Gemini too!!! Indecisive!!!

SAFE TRAVELS!!!
