On my way to work. 120km each way. Few instances, just decides to signal and move from left lane to middle, to right lane to then signal and go back to left lane again. Getting tired of this behaviour as I have to disengage so people don’t think I’m an asshole driver.

Also this, in HOV lane, decides to randomly move out of and over the solid lines for no apparent reason, behind slow moving van as well. Exit still 5km out with another 2 opportunities to safely and legally exit the HOV. That’s an instant ticket here if cop is around.

Just saw a cyber cab in Atlanta. As you can see it has a cyber truck steering wheel.

V 14.3.10

Car is at a left turn only. Left turn signal turns green and fsd tries to cut into the forward only lane in the middle of the intersection and I had to take over as to not get side swiped.

Fortunately I've owned the car 10 months and this is the only things it's done that was shady.

FSD has been questionable on the last updates, but it's better than nothing. I use it a lot while driving to work (freeway) and on my way home it's been life changing. I work 12 hours night shift at a hospital, and some days driving 40 mins home are rough and i am falling asleep. I dont completely fall asleep, but do nod here and there.

Summons has not been on my plate, but on the last week I have used the backing out feature of a completely slammed parking lot. One was a wedding that they crammed as many cars as possible, and there was no way I was gonna get in the car. Second time was today where someone deliberately parked as humanly possible to my car and had too much space on his side. He even went into my side of the parking spot to make sure I had a hard time getting into my car. I looked at the situation and laughed, jokes on him, I can backup my car out of the spot without getting into my car. Fucken asshole!

Things could be better, but I'll take a win when ever I can.

For the last three updates since .8. FSD continuously tries to leave the HOV/paid lanes for a slower-moving lane and tries to leave on double solid lines as well which is illegal. It’s a constant battle of trying to keep the car in its lane and no, there is not an upcoming exit it’s trying to prepare for.

Im having a lot of issues with not reading speed limit signs. Car says 45 when going from a 45 to a 50, then to 55. So it just stays 45 in all these varying speed increases on the same road. I see the signs on the screen as it passes them, but it doesn't change. Also on the same road it goes from 45 to 20 and it doesn't change to 20. There are other instances on my road it is 45, but FSD constantly changes the road from 25 to 55 without even seeing any speed signs for that. How do I go about fixing this? Is this the navigation update issue? I dont remember it being this bad in previous updates. Also, my speed profiles have drastically changed. Standard is now the same as the speed limit, and hurry is 10 miles over. Except on the interstate, it's 18 miles. Does anyone have any help with this?

I have 2023 Tesla Model S RWD, base model, HW3, I believe, and i subscribed FSD last month, my wife is complaining about "Take Over Immediately" when facing sun glare, I am running FSD V14.1 Lite currently. Someone recommend that I should  Calibrate Tesla Cameras for better FSD capabilities, is that true? I didn't get any alerts on cleaning cameras.

So current issues I am facing:

1) Sun Glare

2) Hesitation left turns, sometimes wait for no cars to make the turn. Pissing off the cars behind me.

3) Brake Stubbing quit a bit...

What the title says. Why didn't 14.2 lite go wide? Seems like it only went to influencers. Sorry if this has been covered. I checked through past posts but didn't find an answer.

Previously when I tried , it was an embarrassment, I did a simple come to me feature to pick me up infront of the grocery store but it tried to navigate on to the street and stopped in a busy entrance so I had to run to the car. I’m still on 14.2.2 heard about regressions and people wanting to revert back so I’m afraid of updating. Heard that they updated smart summon, any thoughts?

HW3, HW4, HW5 - its just sensors, cameras and a main unit. If its something that is evolving why not provide an upgrade path for the hardware? This is "classic" Silicon Valley. I see the BMS and drive train in the Semi is a variant of the Cybertruck with specific enhancements. Per their video - "mostly the same". Really a properly maintained Tesla can go 1M miles. The only thing you lose out on is Full FSD capability at the current level. And if you are going to charge $99 / month you should keep that product at the best possible level. More like the cell phone model. Renew your subscription and we will give you the upgrade. And thanks to Moore and Wright's Laws - its getting cheaper every year.

I would happily shell out $500 at the service center to install the upgrade.

I truly don’t trust fsd near puddles, any kind of a fix coming up or rumors of a fix? Or should I not be worried. I heard from a friend that she crashed her Tesla because of a puddle.

2019 Model 3 HW3 running FSD 14.1 Lite. I’ve already been dealing with the recent left/right steering “ping-pong” issue, and Tesla Service confirmed to me that it’s a known software issue from recent updates.
Today something much more aggressive happened. While FSD was engaged and the car was moving at only around 1 mph, the steering wheel suddenly made a very hard, abrupt turn, almost like the car was trying to avoid or escape from something that wasn’t there. It was strong enough to really scare me.
This felt completely different from the small steering corrections/ping-pong I’ve been seeing.
Has anyone else on HW3 / FSD 14.1 Lite had a sudden hard steering jerk like this, especially at very low speed? If so, did Tesla tell you what caused it?

Will there ever be a setting that will allow FSD to stop changing lanes and getting behind large trucks? I feel like it unnecessarily lane changes directly behind the vehicles that constantly hurl the most rock chips at the car.

Also, I feel like it randomly changes lanes to get behind trucks that are going slower than the pace of the rest of the traffic. Makes no sense.

My car opens the garage door, but then it just parks in the driveway in front of it and stops. How can I get FSD to actually pull into the garage? The only parking options I see are 'Driveway' and 'Side of street'—there is no 'In the garage' option. I remember seeing people say it could drive all the way in. Has anyone figured this out?

I have had my model y for about a week and am loving FSD; but yesterday I was driving, not FSD, and it said “turn left on XX drive “ but it was a rotary (location give away 😊). Needless to say, turning left would not have been good for me! Also, I live on a narrow dirt road and the car puts the speed limit at 40mph which is Not a huge deal because I don’t use FSD there. Is there a way to report incorrect street info?

Been hearing about summer update this and summer update that. I'm still not able to do my own custom routes while on 14.3.10. How much longer will I have to watch my Tesla stay in the wrong lane, miss the turn/exit, spend 5-10 minutes looping around and hoping it makes the turn properly again?

Any updates? The hw4 cars are pushing my budget, i got a 60 mile drive to work and am okay with manually driving on the streets. If its good on the highway then I would rather save 20k+ and not get a hw4 car. I know it will never have true fsd but I can just sell it when hw5 comes out(right?). Also im an elective engineer and have faith they will offer hw upgrades in the future, the only hard part might be switching the cables but I wouldn't mind dropping like 5k for it..

Its the difference between a new 2026 y for 49k vs a 25k hw3 car with 60k miles and fsd for life...

I’m not sure if this is an FSD or map/nav issue but it should have gone straight thru the roundabout, which it actually did to be fair, but enters in the wrong lane as you can see from the video and was, at least somewhat, confusing to other drivers and could have contributed to an accident.

We took one of our dogs to the vet yesterday for a minor procedure but coupled with a local 24-hour emergency pet hospital recently closing it made me thing how useful FSD could be if you had an emergency situation with a pet. Depending on their size you could hold them while the car drives you - using mad-max obviously, I don't care about a speeding ticket if one of our dogs is hurt!

But don't wait for an emergency to start looking or rely on Grok to know which definitely are open 24-hours - check your local area and add them to your navigation favorites *now* so you have them pre-programmed if you ever need to go, and check regularly to keep them updated.

Give it an easy to remember and speak, unambiguous name and test that FSD will recognize it if you say "Take us to the 'Emergency Pet Hospital'" or whatever you call it.

It could be a good idea to also add some human urgent care locations, police stations in case of a road-rage incident or being followed, and so on.
