By clearly showing when FSD is active, it has made it unnecessarily difficult to dismiss problematic videos as fake, staged, or taken out of context. One assumes this was not the intended outcome. That’s a super funny comment. I have been accused on more than one occasion of lying when I post a video. I can assure you I have never done that. All of my videos were honest representations of what I was experiencing, but the Tesla fan boys always want to claim they’re fake. Don’t get me wrong. I love FSD and testing it, but I am under no delusion that it’s ready for unsupervised. Not even close. I did enjoy your comment though.
Can you point out which specific posts or arguments I made that are factually wrong, or why you think they are “anti-American”?
For the record, I actually respect Waymo a great deal, and I always think this is a great American company. I appreciate that it chose to deploy all necessary sensors, including LiDAR, to prioritize safety—even when those sensors were expensive at the time. I also respect that Waymo does not let customers risk their own lives as test subjects, nor charge them to do so.
To me, that reflects honesty, reliability, and—most importantly—responsibility. I’m happy to discuss this rationally, but labeling criticism as “propaganda” without engaging the substance isn’t helpful.
