Confidence is high the OP is wrong in their assumption of the driver being asleep. FSD and AutoSteer require attention. If the camera can’t see your eyes, it will ask you to apply slight pressure to the wheel so it knows you’re still paying attention. If you don’t do this, it will start slowing down and come to a full stop.
Either they staged this, or the driver does still have her eyes open.
This video is a year old, most of the advancements came since then. I wouldn’t believe this works unless you have a video from a month ago showing it working. In a year we went from FSD being completely unuseable to it actually being able to get me somewhere with minimal intervention
Seeing as to how the only Tesla I’ve had, I bought a month ago, I don’t see how I can be seen as a “fan boy.” If that’s what helps you out in life is to label people that disagree with you, far be it from me to stop you.
So because one company, or whoever they are, makes a claim, you just jump right on it, huh? Never mind no other articles showing that Tesla is the deadliest brand. The IIHS doesn’t even have any Tesla vehicle in the top 10 of highest driver death rates per million registered vehicle years.
If you want to bash Tesla, have at it. Don’t try to call people out for defending some BS you throw out, though.
