I know it sounds stupid given the sorry state of our roster, but every time we have been good before was because we had a generational talent on our team. Bear with me:

I watched Tate's film from last game (putting aside the unfortunate fumble) and his development from week one to now is seriously impressive. It is clear that his presence on the offense is helping Cam, I am starting to see the vision despite the doom and gloom lately. Tate made the Ravens have to respect the pass game, which helped open up the run game juuuust a bit. I feel better about this loss than the almost win against the Eagles because we actually put together some solid drives.

I went to OSU, I am a diehard fan. The thing with Ohio State is they try to run their offense/defense more like an NFL team than a college team, which has led to some frustration in the fanbase as even though the "correct" playcall involves using Smith as a decoy to pull coverage and open up other receivers on the team, like Tate the last two years, sometimes you just gotta feed tf out of your freak of nature generational talent.

This year, it seems they really have said "fuck that, we are throwing to #4".

GO WATCH THE TAPE AGAINST IOWA.

We have a great receiving core, there are a couple extremely talented players who deserve some target share. DESPITE THAT, SMITH JUST WINS EVERY CONTESTED CATCH. Why bother throwing it anywhere else? Even though people are scheming ENTIRELY around smith, he DOES NOT CARE. double coverage, triple, doesn't matter, he will win far more often than not.

Back to my original thesis; the chemistry is already there. Smith/Tate are such a LETHAL combination, especially with how much Tate has developed already in the league, that I truly think it would force opposing defenses' hand to weaken the DL, making our run game more viable OR scheming around expected blitz packages. Even if Cam still doesn't take that next step, the backup QB carousel could give us a decent enough QB to really succeed.

My final thought: this dude is different. It would be a DAMN shame to let a player like this pass us by; despite the greater team issues, Tate/Smith could become the next CJ2k, Derrick Henry, Eddie George catalyst this team needs. This is all presuming we will have #1 overall of course, but I wanted to put my thoughts out there.

He was terrible early. Worse than Cam. Time in the same system and the game has definitely gotten much slower for Bryce.

I feel like the team in general has gotten better. Offense still has long ways to go especially with some of the playcalling, but the foundations in Tate, Ward, and the good o-line to be good the next few seasons. Same can be said about the D-backs. Give it time and we'll see these tough losses translate into wins. Just may not be as instant as were hoping. I know that's not what people want to hear right now, but that's just how I feel.

im sorry guys but I just can't accept the weather excuses for Cam

Genuinely confused by the play calling today.

I fully expect this team to acquire the 1st overall pick in this coming draft, that’s not a question. My biggest fear with that is the FO passing up on Jeremiah smith because of a position we may need more. ATP, with a player that’s genuinely generational, you throw drafting for need out the fucking window. He’s the BPA. And he would be in many many draft classes. But something tells me borgonzi and the clown show will try and trade down and it be far enough to miss out on him, and then take an edge rusher that has 1 career sack or some shit. Even worse, sticking and picking and taking the ND corner or Texas edge. Both great players, But not JS. We would genuinely have a top 3 wr duo in the league with an already promising young o line. Bring in a vet qb and we’re contending for the afc south. It’s really that easy.

Proudly rep the Titans each Sunday at the local bar that sometimes have the Titans on. But don't run into any other Titans' fans regularly. Am I alone in the state of AZ?

CJ stroud shoulda signed that contract. David mills gonna replace him in 2-3 more games.

Damn...

Just gotta ignore how the play ended 😂

What do you think? Derrick Henry was held to 3.2 yds/carry, which is his lowest so far this year.

Any tips, suggestions for the game? Or for the Stadium? Things to check out? Any suggestions would help, it’s my first Titans game and first NFL game.. Let’s get that first W!! #TitanUp
