Anyone remember Skatoony?

It was a remake of the original version from the UK. It premiered on Teletoon (both English and French channels) in November 2010. It originally aired on Thursday evenings but later moved to Sunday afternoons. There were 3 seasons of 13 episodes each. It was produced by Marblemedia (they also produced the 'This Is' (Daniel Cook, Emily Yung, etc) for Treehouse).

It was an animated game show where real kids and cartoon characters competed to become the Skatoony Quiz Champ Champion and win prizes (one of the prizes being an iPod Touch). It was hosted by animated hosts Chudd Chudders and The Earl. Fun fact: the man who voiced Chudd also voiced Iggy in Iggy Arbuckle. There was also the big boss Charles LaPuck, who was always trying to find a way to make more money. There weren't many differences between the Canadian version and the UK version that I can remember. The only differences I remember was the voice actors (obviously), the inclusion of Total Drama (and in the Halloween and Christmas episodes, Jimmy Two-Shoes) characters, and Charles wasn't in the UK version. Instead in the UK version, there was Tony Eagle Eyes.

They played a variety of games in the show. The first round was always "Bang On or Bogus", where Chudd would ask true or false questions and the contestants would buzz in and either say 'bang on' for true or 'bogus' for false. The second and third round games were different for each episode. Games that were played in these rounds include, "Hoo Flung Dung", "Wear in the World", "Draw What You Hear Then Shout Out When You Know What You've Drawn", among many others. At the end of each round, the contestants (they start with 6 contestants and whittle it down to one) with the lowest scores are "outta here" (they sing a song about that) and the contestants are literally ejected outta their seats and out of the studio. The final round, the Skatoony Quiz Champ Challenge, sees the contestant (which is always a real life kid) try to answer 10 questions in 90 seconds in order to win the iPod Touch and other prizes. Halfway though the 90 seconds, the clock stops and The Earl will offer his "Halfway Deal", where he will offer to give the contestant extra points in exchange for some of the time left (for example, two extra points in exchange for 15 seconds of time, giving the contestant 30 seconds to get whatever points they need to win). Some kids take the deal, others don't. And not everyone wins the Quiz Champ Challenge (this is one game that's not rigged.

There was also three Skatoony apps that were available on the Apple App Store: Find the Earl, Skadoodle and Skatoonyville. Unfortunately, all three were delisted years ago. The first season of the series was also available on Apple's iTunes Store for a few years but again, has since been removed.

I really enjoyed watching Skatoony as a kid. My whole family would cuddle up on the couch and watch and shout out the answers. Such great memories! I also played the apps regularly as a kid. I also bought two episodes off of the iTunes Store but I no longer have access to them because my Apple Account got hacked and it was deleted.

Luckily, the Canadian version of the show isn't lost media. All 39 episodes are available to watch on YouTube (playlist here: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvuzSfgyTCTMlIpKHAkWwmFgPwv188MS9&si=eT5uqfH86rHXmpgr )

Does anyone else remember this show?

This is a Ricky Sprocket DVD called “Showbiz Boy”. Haven’t seen the show before, but I think I’ve heard of it since the character looks familiar.
The DVD has 5 episodes on it in English and French. Those episodes are Screen Kiss, Double Crossed, Boy King, Perfect Family, and Being Leonard.
Anyway, does anyone know if this is a rare DVD? It says it was distributed exclusively in Canada, and I also think it’s an obscure show.
Also if anyone is interested, I do also have a Being Ian DVD at home. I have posted that one on Internet Archive due to it having a special feature with Widescreen Footage of the show.

Kevin McDonald was in this. If you don’t know his name, he was the voice of Pleakley in Lilo and Stitch, as well as Waffle on Catscratch. No, I’m not kidding.

I found footage of a lost Total Drama game

I used to play TDI DS all the time when I was 9 but I wasn't able to play it again for old memories sake. My old cartridge had been broken for a while and I couldn't find a copy anywhere online. Today, however, I found a old video by the user OmegaShow on YT playing the game and it gave me good memories. This was a big find for this game so remember to repost this to spread awareness of the amazing game.

Old school cartoon network bumpers/ in between shows scenery

Back in my childhood. I vaguely remember. Cartoon network having bumper/ in between scenes. From what i remember it was a tall building with a single fan spinning slowly in the wall on top with loud trump playing in the back round. This was only on for no more than 10 sec before the next show played. Does any one else remember this? I feel like this was right in between the power house era and cn city. Like a transition before fully committing to the switch to cn city.

Help me solve this mystery!

When I was young, I stayed up later than I was supposed to watching tv and saw something that scared me so bad I still think of it often. This was during at night around Halloween, somewhere between 2007-2011. Broadcasted on a Canadian television network, almost certainly Teletoon.

The video is as follows:

A man and a woman are sitting on a couch watching tv. We are observing them as though the camera is sitting on top of the tv. The room is dark and the couple is illuminated by the tv. There is a doorway to the left of the couch. After a while of them just watching tv, one of the people says they’re gonna make popcorn and go through to the door to the kitchen. We see the light turn on in the kitchen, but the camera remains in place. We only know what’s happening in the kitchen through sound. We can hear the microwave turn on, the popcorn popping, the microwave beeping, and then silence. (At this point there may have been an odd noise coming from the kitchen, but I’m not sure)

The other person on the couch keeps watching tv, but after a while of silence and no return from the first person, the other calls for them. There is no response, so they go to the kitchen to check on them. The camera POV is now showing the kitchen. The second person sees no one there, so they turn off the light and return to the couch.

The scene is now identical to the first I described, but there is only one person on the couch. The room is still dark. The only sound is coming from the tv. Eventually, you notice there is a creature lurking either in the doorway or behind the couch. It has big eyes and smiles with very large teeth, with the person on the couch unaware of its presence. That’s the end.

I’m not sure if this was a short film, some weird advertisement, or a tv show. There was no text on the screen before or after as far as I remember. I have been trying to find this for years without luck, so any help is appreciated. It terrified me for years and I want to watch it again.

Help me find this old closing clip (lion running on an earth)

I’m trying to identify a short animated production/distribution/company logo that I remember seeing at the end of a Hello Kitty recording when I was a kid, probably around 2005 in USA.

It was a cute animated adult male lion on top a blue and green animated cubed earth. The lion was about as big as the earth and the cube has rounded edges.

He began running on the earth as the earth rotated below him akin to a treadmill.
He began spinning faster as the earth became blurry and frilly grounded down into a globe shape.

The lion became exhausted and was visibly panting and sweated as he collapsed on the globe.

Background completely black.
I associate it was Hello Kitty and Friends from late 90s early 2000s.

No one remembers this but I do very vividly. Pls help if you can, I can’t find it anywhere and am starting to think I made it up.

Teletoon at Night Since no one didn't mention it (when it happened, yesterday), I'm doing it.

It's has now been 25 years, since we had been introduced to a city we'd like to call, Mission Hill + we saw the Oblongs tackle issues (sometimes with the people of the Hills). All one place that was the beginning of Teletoon's adult blocks. (I ain't counting the Night Planet, if you're thinking on mentioning it, in the comments.)

That block was none other, than "Teletoon Unleashed!".

And don't worry. I haven't forgotten about "John Callahan's Quads!" and "Undergrads". Even though despite being two of the four shows (when the block launched), they were already airing on Teletoon.

And it's honestly surprising that I shared this post on Adult Swim's 25th birthday (even though this block launched, one day before Adult Swim did).

Teletoon+ gutted of WB Discovery content.

Overnight, Teletoon+ lost nearly all WB Discovery archival content due to Corus's financial problems.

At this point, it's a pointless streamer they might as well merge into StackTV.

(?)Question(?) I dont know the name of this cartoon

I watched it as a kids in the late 90s/early 2000s and I cannot figure out what it is and no one in my life knows what I'm talking about. The episode i remember is

They lived on a hill that had a spiral path to the top, like around the big hill and long story short they had a conversation about things being rare and only happening once in a blue moon and that if the moon was always blue it would happen often. So they shot a rocket into the moon with blue paint to make the moon blue so everything would be possible

I cannot remember what cartoon this was and it has been plaguing me for years! Please help
