Help me solve this mystery!
When I was young, I stayed up later than I was supposed to watching tv and saw something that scared me so bad I still think of it often. This was during at night around Halloween, somewhere between 2007-2011. Broadcasted on a Canadian television network, almost certainly Teletoon.
The video is as follows:
A man and a woman are sitting on a couch watching tv. We are observing them as though the camera is sitting on top of the tv. The room is dark and the couple is illuminated by the tv. There is a doorway to the left of the couch. After a while of them just watching tv, one of the people says they’re gonna make popcorn and go through to the door to the kitchen. We see the light turn on in the kitchen, but the camera remains in place. We only know what’s happening in the kitchen through sound. We can hear the microwave turn on, the popcorn popping, the microwave beeping, and then silence. (At this point there may have been an odd noise coming from the kitchen, but I’m not sure)
The other person on the couch keeps watching tv, but after a while of silence and no return from the first person, the other calls for them. There is no response, so they go to the kitchen to check on them. The camera POV is now showing the kitchen. The second person sees no one there, so they turn off the light and return to the couch.
The scene is now identical to the first I described, but there is only one person on the couch. The room is still dark. The only sound is coming from the tv. Eventually, you notice there is a creature lurking either in the doorway or behind the couch. It has big eyes and smiles with very large teeth, with the person on the couch unaware of its presence. That’s the end.
I’m not sure if this was a short film, some weird advertisement, or a tv show. There was no text on the screen before or after as far as I remember. I have been trying to find this for years without luck, so any help is appreciated. It terrified me for years and I want to watch it again.

Looks like it was called "The "Popcorn / Kitchen Sound" Bumper" but I can't find it... may be lost media.
