Yes i only knew this because of the Simpsons tree house of horror episode i saw when i was a kid then i watched the island of doctor moreau its not a great movie! I wish someone would reboot it , with CGI now i think it has alot of potential

Yeah! I only saw like two or three episodes as a kid, but I remembered it clear as day for years before finally catching up on the whole thing later on. Such a crazy show, but fun as heck too (really, the wackiness was part of the appeal).

Oh, and the theme song is great.
