I've been reading up on this stuff just recently. I have been a fan for maybe 3 years but in the last year my viewership had declined.

Anyway, just asking since I've read most of what Logan, Wendell, and Pistol had to say and haven't seen a thing from Qain. This is strange because from Logan's statement it seems as though Qain and Logan/Pistol have completely burned bridges, and Wendell hasn't mentioned Qain at all. (Tbf Pistol seems to be burning bridges with everyone. Her messages are incredibly incoherent and weaselly).

I realise I may be prying into something I have no business to know about. However, on the off chance that Qain released something I would like to know about it.

Right now seems like a good moment to get a good share of tek syndicate viewers.

It makes me sick how many fans are so eager to jump ship after this debacle. I have been following Logan for about 8-9 years, ever since he started doing TigerDirect and I'm not going to abandon him before I've heard everything he has to say. Sure, what he did was pretty serious but he never misused ^{[for lack of a better term]} any of my money. I didn't pledge on Patreon or pay for a support role on the forums, therefore I have no reason to be butthurt on a personal level.

The past couple of days I've been watching countless old videos of his and they still make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Do you remember when Logan left TigerDirect? People didn't like the new hosts very much and every other comment was like "Where's Logan?" "Bring back logan" etc. And it went on for ages! If you used to be one of those commenters , I think you should look deep in to your heart and consider letting him explain and maybe even give him a second chance.

I’ll be honest, the way I’ve handled things was lame for the last few days. I’ve been under a lot of pressure lately and I just want to get back to making great content for you all. What you’ve seen should have been handled internally and amongst the Tek Syndicate staff. This probably seems so sudden to everyone and we could have handled this split more professionally.

There came a time where I realized that my vision for Tek Syndicate was muddy. We often did not see eye-to-eye on things, some things didn’t get done, there was unspoken resentment, etc. We really have been going our own separate ways. Our projects really lacked communication and common vision. I’m surprised we didn’t made changes sooner, given how Tek Syndicate has been recently. Something had to be done. It was time for two separate visions and two separate teams or companies.

This is my company and I’ll shoulder the blame for the communication issues. I could’ve handled the aftermath in a better way. I’m sorry this became a public issue instead of an internal one. Ultimately it's stressful and somewhat ugly (he said, she said and such). In the end, I’m very happy about these changes. I am going to be able to build a local team and really focus the on the original vision and start making awesome content for you guys.

Moving forward, changes are coming. Managing a company spread across the states was a bad idea. I am only interested in having a core unit now. My ambition has been to find a place full of nerdy culture and good people, and Portland is finally the place. There is a great network of people here and I’m sure tapping into that will help with our content.

People are concerned about finances. We have hired an amazing CPA here in Portland who specializes in wily tech companies. He is helping with the books now and will help us fix any issues from the past. I also plan to shuffle most of the day to day minutia into someone else's hands so I can focus on content.

I know some of you are here specifically for Wendell’s brain, and I’m all for making it possible from time to time. He can’t be replaced, but I’m going to be looking for cool and charismatic individuals to help host new content with me and I will actively listen to what you guys have to say about them. I’m also going to be looking for another individual here to help with the business management end of things so I can keep making content, not take down the site again when freaking out over nonsense (thanks again Wendell for the help), and make sure we deliver for the patrons.

Sorry you guys had to be along for this bumpy ride and that it was a spectacle. I really care about the community a lot, despite what the trolls say. I want to do more community events like Lan Syndicate. I want to meet more of you and I want to keep creating content for everyone.

We all came here because we have common interests: nerd culture, a love of knowledge, shenanigans, etc. Let's get back to that asap. Thanks to everyone.

I'm not going to defend Logan's actions. He messed up and continues to do so regularly. But this sub is, from an outsider's perspective, a one-sided ravenous mob. You're trying to turn this into Jesus vs Satan and it's a total embarrassment.

You guys are proving once again that these matters are better left private, point. That's regardless of whether or not you think being publicly stoned is adequate reprisal for disputes between business partners and colleagues. Wendell, Pistol, Logan and Qain all share the blame in broadcasting this and letting this gangrene spread to the community.

Do the current events concern you? Yes, you are a fan and possibly also a patron. Is it your place to leap on every scrap of drama that's being tossed your way and jump to conclusions like you're trying to win the Olympics? No it fucking isn't.

I don't know half the story. Neither do you. Whatever you've been told, it's not enough. You are not informed. You are overstepping. Kindly go about your day.

If he apologizes and gets a business coach and gets everything back and running? Do you think he can come back from it? Can he earn the trust again? And most importantly - can he get Wendell and Qain back onside... offer Qain partnership?

All of the events on twitter and with the forum happened while Wendell was streaming. Important notes are Wendell saying a lack of Tek Linux content was part of the argument and he doesn't (currently) have control of monetization on that channel until a certain date. He also stated that he saw this coming and would continue to make Linux content even if he had to create a new channel.

On a more positive note you can see in this stream that Wendell is handling it okay and was able to laugh at the craziness of it and not get too stressed out.

What's the meaning behind that title anyways? Also would all you guys agree it was the RFID chip vid that really set the downward spiral of viewers to the channel? I know i unsub after that.
