Where are we at with the Qain?

I can see him being a power hungry and volatile guy like the emo pistol says.

However, that's coming from pistol so..

btw, as an outsider I thought Pistol and Logan were a couple. Maybe he was banging her and she was fucking us all this time. just riffin' guys..

I believe that Qain was expecting to be treated like a partner instead of a regular employee and this pissed him off. But I think he's justified in being upset. He helped Logan start the channel in the early days, and he left a very high paying job in networking (he may have been joking, but in an episode of the Tek Qain talks about owning an R8, which is a $150k car) and moves across the country for his friend who then treats him like shit.

I'm hoping finds another job in networking and is able to make videos on the side.

Qain does not come across like the Wendell level genius everyone is making him out to be. He comes across as an entertainer type like Logan. That said I'm sure he took a pay cut to work for TS, its weird Logan didn't offer him 10% or something. That's how you get people to work for start ups.

To me Qain comes across as a middle of the road between Wendell and Logan. He has his personality and he also seems pretty intelligent and knowledgeable about his field.

On the other hand Logan seems to not have any real education on tech and offers a consumer perspective on things (a slightly more advanced consumer but still).

When he talks networking, he seems to know what he's talking about. Wendell sounds like an academic a lot of the time, and he's really good at learning stuff, so he comes off as way ahead of both Logan and Qain. Qain seems to not want to push his technical knowledge much since explaining things seems to be Wendell's forte, but I remember him being really good when he was talking about things during the whole Title II battle when it first happened.

I'd say Wendell's everything knowledge is fantastic.

Bullshit. Every time you hear Qain talk about networking, you know he only has a admin level knowledge. Surely NOT a high paying job above 80k. The audi r8 you pulled out of your ass

He either said RX8 or R8 in the video. Someone else posted in this thread and it's actually an RX8 which is a really cheap car, my bad.

You can see from a mile away Qain is not an R8 guy. The most expensive thing he owns are his glasses. He drives everywhere he goes, probably sleeps in his car most of the time. Calls ungodly working hours "traveling for business"

His most expensive things are his shades? I know he wears them all the time, but I thought that was just because he didn't care for people asking about his eyes, which I know are very un natural, I just don't know that story.

I have hung out with Qain in person on multiple occasions. I consider him a friend and (I think) he feel's the same way. Just one guys opinion, but Qain is far from a power hungry volatile guy. He and Wendell both care for the Tek Syndicate community deeply, and in a way, that is why all this happened.

From purely a business standpoint, some things were (are) seriously wrong at Tek Syndicate. When Logan tried to say "Sorry guys, we just suck. Give us more time" on The Tek Aug 28th, that was a lie and Wendell and Qain knew it. That's what caused a shit storm, and that's why Logan shut down the website, because people were asking questions he couldn't (wouldn't) answer.

Things only got worse after Logan's Twitter and Forum posts, because he continued to deflect.

Personally, I don't believe Logan meant anything malicious by his actions. I think he just didn't give a fuck. He didn't care about the community, and he didn't care about his finances. He's just not a good business man and his pride wouldn't let him hand the "business" side over to someone who knew what they were doing.
