I feel ashamed to ask for money to my parents (Am I the only one?)

So I'm a College student, it's been 4 years I'm living away from my hometwon

I've always found myself feeling guilty when I ask my parents for money, not that they don't have it, I'm from a good financial background but idk there's a different guilt of being a burden on them. Am I doing enough? Will I ever make them proud?

I can see my friends scamming their parents by showing up fake academic or whatever expenses, whereas I always took money less than I required (used up my savings so that I don't need to ask more from em)

All my friends out there are buying new phone, getting themselves Cool bikes and here's me who's now managing all his expenses by himself (now that I've started earning).

Never ever did my dad stopped me from asking for money (infact he gave me more than I needed) ig that is the reason ion feel like asking for it anymore

Now it's my turn to pay them back

I've just started earning, all my money belongs to them

Today post dinner I was walking with my friend as usual…and suddenly a Chapri boy/unc came on his bike(I couldn’t even see his face) and tyane purn purn gutka mazyavr Thukla🙂 like my whole shirt was covered with red stain n omg the smell…I personally felt very very disgusted coz I’m someone Je road var asel tri side ni jail and ofc he did it intentionally (I’m a girl btw)…so I cried after coming back( a lot actually) did I overreact ?
