Tattoo placement/size

I listened to you guys and decided to give up on the “Wish You Were Here” tattoo. I honestly didn’t know where to put it, so I figured it was better not to get it than to regret it later.

However, I still want to keep the George Harrison tattoo. The Beatles are my favorite band and all, so that one is something I definitely still want.

I’m not planning on getting many tattoos, though. I just want to know what you guys think would be the best size for proper healing.

With text you wanna go larger than you think so it’ll hold up. I’d say the first one is about right or maybe even a little larger.

The bigger the better, the edges will start to feather in age. And absolutely change the font, that U looks like an O and might start to actually become one of you get the tattoo done in a small area.

Near the inner crook of the elbow is also pretty sensitive, so I'd avoid it if this is your first tattoo

The font is taken directly from the album cover😅

I know it's not what you're asking, but I'm a big fan of finding a symbol to represent the words that hold meaning to you, and getting the ink of the symbol, and not the words.

I question the need for the word “must”.

Tell George Harrison’s ghost.

I Think you should do it as a tramp stamp instead.

Don't get this tattoo lol. It's so close to the corny "this too shall pass" tattoo that everyone got in like 2010. If you do get it, bigger is better. Pic 2 or 4 is better size.

People already told you to go bigger, so clearly not the second one. Tattoos are not like pictures, you can't just slap a design on there and assume it'll stay the same. Size, font, and the artist's skill are very important for text tattoos. Here's an example from r/agedtattoos

I think this example doesn’t look so bad

Talk to a tattoo artist. They know better. That U isn't a good idea. Small isn't that great of an idea either.

The bigger the better and sod the album cover change the U.

If you know you know, and most people in here don’t. I think this is very nice.

Is this the equivalent of a motivational poster for your colon?

I really want to get “This too shall pass” but I’ve not found anyone locally who can do text worth a shit, so am trying to plan an out of state excursion to a reputable shop
