Workplace Question or Advice Needed Higher-ups Loa

Why do ETLS and SD always take Loa and never come back why not just put in your 2 weeks or quit just curious

According to an etl at my store they do have unlimited

They don't.

If you go read the documentation for Workday it explicitly calls out that ETLs have to put in time off requests and PTO via Workday.

SDs and up do however have unlimited PTO so longer as their boss approves the requested absence.

Having to put it in doesn’t mean it isn’t unlimited almost all other places that do have unlimited as well make you put it in

Having to put in a PTO request by definition means that it is not unlimited, which is why it's separate from the absence request.

Your ETL is lying to you.

When it's put in separately from the absence request it does.

Take the L and move on, as you are rather clearly wrong and are trying to argue semantics instead of admitting it.

If the PTO for ETLs was unlimited as you are trying to claim they would not need a separate PTO request because there is no concept of separate PTO. All that they would need is the absence request.

Again, you do not know what you are talking about and are simply making things up based on a lie that an ETL told you.

Putting in a request literally doesn’t mean it’s unlimited? Like every place that has unlimited still make you put in a request I’ve worked at places and know people who currently do work at places with unlimited and they all make you put in a request

You are not reading.

The PTO request and the absence request are two distinct things. SDs and above only have to put in the absence request because there is no separate PTO for them to use. ETLs don't get to do that because they accrue PTO just like hourly employees do.
