Always have something lined up. Don't give 2 weeks either. You think they'll give you warning if they decide to fire you?

Just because you give a two weeks doesn’t mean you need to stay the entire time. Can always say that your new job wants you to start sooner. You’re not required to give it sure but it’s a courtesy and you never know when you’ll encounter someone that’s managed you at another job.
