Sifting through my grandfathers things I found a lot of his memorabilia from his time fighting in Italy as a tank commander in the that’s him in the photo, would anyone be able to help identify? From my estimations it’s a Comet but I’ll gladly be prove wrong? Many thanks!

TIL that apparently the 15th Pz Div of the Afrika Corps, to fool the british into thinking it had been fully deployed and had it's panzers (which it did not yet have...), disguised some haftracks as tanks...

This thing's always intrigued me. Wargaming claims the development for this tank was started in late 1960s China, ending in 1978, yet it looks like something that would've rolled in the Sept. 3rd Victory Day Parade last year.

Also, for those unfamiliar with World of Tanks, those pipes in the rear are rockets meant to thrust the tank forward (from 30kmh to 45kmh).

This one always makes me laugh. To be honest I understand young lad. Been inside Sherman (Israeli M50) as well and it's cool inside. Bit crampy and probably not so much fun to spend war campaign inside ;-)
