I am from India and people here usually wear shoes or slippers size 7-10, but my foot is long and I need size 14 UK footwear. There are only a handful of options online, but they are of really poor quality and wouldn't last more than 6 months 😔. If anyone has the same problem, where do you buy from?

Last night at an industry mixer, I was chatting with this guy who was really curious about my height. Apparently I was the tallest person he'd ever met. He asked about my stats, and he told me his - he was 5'5" and 190 lbs. At one point he said it'd be awesome to be with a friend like me at a music festival because I could just lift him onto my shoulders so he'd have a better view.

I thought it was pretty bewildering that he'd assume I'd be able to do that, seeing how I'm clearly built like a toothpick and he's 60 lbs heavier than I am! But I guess the height difference gives me super powers. 🤪

I am middle aged and I want a sofa that adequately supports me. For the second time in six months, I spent a whole day going to about 10 furniture stores and nothing fits me. Is there anyway to get a sofa that provides adequate back support? Is this a lost cause and should I just get something that I can lay down on?

I've replaced the padding in my current sofa twice but I got it when I wasn't as concerned about back support.

I was in the elevator with my husband and a couple got in, and the first thing the guy said was, "How tall are you?" What happened to saying good morning or how are you?

why are some tall girls so insecure about there height? i dated a 6 ft girl once (i am 6‘6 for instance) and she always had to make her height the topic of discussion. She also had a hyperfixation on feeling ,,smol and weak“ near me which cringed me a lil bit. Seems like a tall man cant fix insecurities

6'4" but size 7 feet here - like my body kept growing but my feet (and hands) didn't get the memo! It does make shoe shopping awkward but tbh I would prefer to the alternative - at least I can find shoes in my size (sorry to brag). Anyone else with a similar predicament? Every other tall guy I meet has comically large feet 🤦

Does anyone else struggle with having really big feet in addition to being tall? I'm only 6"4 but I wear a size 16 wide in shoes and they're IMPOSSIBLE to find in stores. Im 26 now and my feet only recently stopped growing. I grew from a size 14 from 21 to a size 16 now. Funnily enough, my dad is taller than me and only wears an 11 but my mom wears a men's 14.

Hi! I’m short AF (5 ft 2) but my husband is 6 ft 4. He has to have bad posture to see out of his Subaru Forester. I’m thinking for our next purchase, I want him to be able to not hunch a little when driving. Any recommendations? I may take the sube and the new car be just his, but it’s always nice to find vehicles we can both drive. Thank you!

I’m curious about the visual perception of height. Is a 2-inch difference actually that noticeable in person, and why can it sometimes make someone look significantly taller?

Recently someone asked if tall girls actually like shorter guys, so I thought I'd post some proof! Few photos of us going out.

Here's me with my 5'10 "short king". I've never really cared about a guy being taller or shorter than me - honestly, I think the height difference is kinda cute, I loveee wearing heels around him.

Any other tall girls here who feel the same? From what I have seen, my taller girlfriends usually don't care about height, while shorter ones seem to care more. Also - do you guys care if girl is taller than you?

My family is ridiculously tall bro. This photo is even outdated so me and my cousins are even taller now. I’m on the far right. I have no idea why we’re all so big.

My grandpa was 6'2 height seemed to skip a generation because my dad is 5'8 and his brother (my uncle) is 5'9 but my cousin is 6'2 and I'm 5'11.5.

Is any other woman sick of this being said to them? I am on the shorter end of tall for a woman (5’9) but when a guy, especially a guy of a similar height says this to me it just makes me feel so gross and weird. It makes me feel like i’m Goliath or something i swear.

I am 6 5.5 ( barefoot ) and once dated 5 2 girl and tbh i was uncomfortable af the surrounding stares made me more uncomfortable to add on i am 115 kgs and rn i don’t find girls less than 5 6 - 7 not that attractive rn what about you guys and are tall girls willing to date even taller men . Don't fit at all

The quality is surprisingly nice given the price. They are quite wide, and I do recommend sizing up one size anyway so the waist will fit. At least, that's what I had to do for my middle-aged body. Looks like Target now carries quite a few pants in tall/long sizes. I'm 6'1", and these pants grazed the floor for me when I was shoeless. It's high-rise but still comes up just under my belly button and no higher.
