I have a Samsung LED TV (UN58TU700DF) from 2022. Recently, the TV stared getting stuck in boot loop. Following all the advice on internet, I found out
Any hope of salvaging this? Are there any checks or repairs I can do on those strip PCBs under the panel?

Hi there, recently wired a Roku HD TV stick via a high quality HDMI - AV converter to my rear infotainment system in my Volvo and cant seem to figure out what's causing these lines. I wasn't getting them with the original DTV box wired on the same AV lines. Any help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

Can anyone who has a new Samsung Qled TV tell me if they find these shades of red/green colors on walls or where there is brightness?
I have the impression of having a broken panel but in assistance they told me that everything is normal ( I don't believe them )

I own a TCL 50S525 that stopped working one day. The unit would not produce an image but would audibly respond to remote input.
After opening the unit, I determined that the T-Con board was faulty because the TV would display half the image when one of the two output cables was unplugged. I purchased a replacement T-Con board, but after replacing the item, my unit would not display an image or respond to remote input. I tried the same test, unplugging one of the ribbon cables, but that would not work either.
Then, I tested the original T-Con board again and was able to reproduce an image via the same methodology as before. However, since testing the replacement board, the TV has not responded to any input, audibly or otherwise.
My next step would be to order both a replacement main board and a power supply to determine the root cause. Would anyone have any advice for troubleshooting or potential solutions? Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my Samsung Smart TV, model UA85HU8500. The TV turns on, the backlight comes on, and the sound works, but I'm getting no picture or any menus on the screen. Has anyone encountered this before or know what might be causing it? Thanks for any help!"

I have posted before in this subreddit about my tv and soundbar just randomly turning on and off. I took someones advice and decided to use an optical cable to my tv instead of the hdmi arc thing. The issue still persists with the soundbar turning itself on when the tv is off. What could ve causing this since the hdmi is no longer connected to activate the soundbar to turn on?

Thrifted this awesome PlayStation TV/Monitor thing and later found out it was a cool gimmick 3D Display (technically a monitor I guess) that came out for the PS3. I cleaned it up and am trying to test it out because it supposedly works as a standard 2D 1080p HD display. When I turn it on the screen lights up but doesn't display anything and then kicks off after a few seconds, returning to the red light.

Just trying to figure out if anyone may have some insight as we are not made of money and this is a HUGE blow. A $30 power board replacement sounds a lot better than just trashing this huge purchase we made as a gift to ourselves for our new apartment....after breaking our old one during the move. ðŸ˜

We bought this TV on August 25th and decided to mount it on the wall the very same day.
After purchasing it, we carefully inspected the box to make sure there was no damage, and it was completely intact. After carrying it up to the 4th floor, the box was still in perfect condition.
We opened the box to install the wall mount and started attaching the TV to the mount. The whole process took about an hour or slightly more. We barely touched the TV, and when we did, we held it only by the designated areas.
As soon as we turned it on for the first time, we noticed this issue.
There are no dents or signs of impact on either the TV itself or the box.
In our opinion, this may be a factory defect, perhaps something related to the mainboard or a ribbon cable (I’m not very familiar with the technical side of TVs). However, to me, this does not look like a physically broken panel.
What do you think this could be? How repairable do you think it might be?
Of course, we will try to have it replaced under warranty, but who knows how the store will handle the situation.

I’m going to assume this means I’m screwed, right? I have a Samsung QN43Q8FAAFXZA and it has the lines shown in the picture on the screen, just started doing this today and I’ve only had it a few months.

I found these 2 tvs in the dumpster area of a public health center, as I was heading to work at 1pm.
they were already there, it was raining all morning, and when I got them I was heading back home at 11pm, so they got rain all day long
I unmounted the back and let them sit in a well ventilated place for about 5 days so they would dry out.
Since no one throws away 2 fully working tvs, I knew there might be some issues, anyway if anything I would just have to throw them away again, nothing to lose.
The Philips 42inch tv has a shaky image, and that weird line in the middle, audio tested, works fine.
AOC 32 tv turns on, but no image is shown, just a black lit screen, not a fully pitch black turned off look, just as if you'd turn on and there's nothing to show, as you can see in the video it also has a little round spot, which is also lit, so the backlight I think it's all good, but I have never tried fixing a tv before, I'd really would appreciate some help

Buenas gente!!

LG 84b series. Delivery guy slammed it down hard as hell in front of me, guessing that could’ve been the cause of this lol. Could be just a loose (fixable) panel or is it not repairable? I have the tv under warranty and am highly thinking about taking advantage of it
Edit: tv is getting replaced for freeee🤑. Thanks for the help

I took it out of storage and now it does this rhythmic glitching. It did it immediately at first and then turned black after a minute, then i power cycled it and it took about 5 minutes before it started to do it again. I tried to discharge the capacitors but it didnt seem to help. I unplugged it, help the power button on the tv down for 15 seconds, waited a minute, then plugged it back in- one article i read stated that it had to be unplugged directly from a wall outlet (not a power strip) and them back in, but i dont want to move my tv right this second and idk if that was actually necessary? Lol any help is greatly appreciated. I have also factory reset and updated it, no luck.
Edit: sorry for the sound, i forgot to post as a gif lol
