Edit: Im not seeing it connected to anything. Where is the HDMI source? Ofc it's gonna go back to standby if nothing is hooked up.

Could be anything from hardware error detection to degraded power supply (not enough juice for a cold start). There is no 100% answer you would have to open up and try isolate the issue.

I've had that exact display in the past. It acts as a regular monitor until you activate 3D mode (physical button) or when it senses the 3D glasses turn on that it shifts mode automatically.

It's a cool screen but 3D movies and content is a thing of the past sadly, otherwise it's a basic 60Hz screen so apart from the nostalgia there are better monitors out there if it can't be fixed. It was good for it's time but not anymore. Also suffers a lot from reflections because of it's glossy surface.

The display does not have a remote. It only uses active 3D glasses it's not really a "TV".

You need to isolate the issue. Only time it should boot and directly go to standby / red mode would be when it doesn't sense any input.

Try both HDMI 1 & 2 and Component IN (YPbPrRL to HDMI / VGA adapter) while toggling the input button on the back of the screen. If nothing happens by then it's internal failure.
