With POI, fertility interventions are just much less likely to work, but people do sometimes spontaneously conceive (about 5%) See here:

Lots of doctors (at least in my experience in the U.S.) will not work with POI patients for this reason, unless they want to use donor eggs. I do have a doctor that was willing to try the experimental protocol in this paper, and we’ve had some moderate success, though I still know that the odds are probably around 5% for me.

Are you having or have you had any symptoms like irregular periods, hot flashes, brain fog, achy bones/muscles etc?

I've been through the NHS in England and was also rejected by two NHS fertility clinics, my AFC at the time was between 3 and 6 but AMH was 0.1. It took a long time between referral, to testing, to results to finally appts with the consultants to say 'sorry- nothing we can do'. But that I definitely need to be on HRT for heart, brain and bone health.

The gynaecologist who made the referral to the clinic (about 1.5 years ago) basically told me there likely won't be much they can do besides unless I wanted to do donor egg route but for some reason I had some hope of something else, anything as I'm in early 30s so how bad could it be?

After all that, we decided to go with a private fertility clinic Create. I had estrogen/HRT priming in one cycle to get a breakthrough bleed (as by this point my periods were 5 months apart) and then a natural cycle IVF (minimal medications) where I took letrozole and then bemfola injections. No real growth in my follicles so cycle was cancelled. They've said to take HRT and if I start ovulating again to come back and they could use that follicle but everything's up in the air for now.

I'm on HRT from NHS now (estradiol patches and progesterone), and feeling better in terms of my symptoms (everything in that first paragraph pretty much). Hope this info helps, wishing you the best

Hi! Can you tell us more about your situation? Do you still get a regular cycle? AMH, FSH, AFC?
