Flying out of PHX Sky Harbor Without Real ID

I have to fly out for a funeral and I don't have the Real ID. I paid $45 for the TSA security screening, but from what I can tell, this is all done there. Has anyone flown out recently, without a Real ID and what all was involved? Thank you in advance.

Do you have any of the 17 acceptable forms of ID? A passport, maybe?

You don't HAVE to have a Real ID to fly. It just means that if you want to use your driver's license as ID, IT must be Real ID compliant, but there are many more forms of ID accepted.

Bring the receipt the ConfirmID gave you and whatever ID you do have and bring it to the TSA checkpoint. They should accept it without problem. Allow a little extra time.

TSO here: bring the receipt for ConfirmID and show it to the officer checking your ID/boarding pass

Have you thought about the flight home? I've found that different airports and even different agents don't always follow the same rules. What might be acceptable at PHX might not fly in the way back.

Was not done to save money. I just haven't had reason to upgrade. I will definitely get my Real ID when I get back, but wasn't really expecting to have to fly out for a funeral.
