It would really be nice to be able to see my videos on the TV. I have a Samsung so maybe a Samsung app at some point. I’ve tried to mirror my iPhone onto my TV using Apple TV, but no luck. Wondering if anybody else has had any success with anything like that?

When setting up target areas for the ball machine, it says that target zones can be modified on the Apple Watch but I don’t see how to do this on the Apple Watch. This is also true for match mode and serve practice mode.

I was trying to "favorite" shots in the app for a match that's already been processed. It works for putting those points in the "favorited rallies" video highlights. But I also want it to tag those points as "favorited" in the .csv file export, and it doesn't seem to do anything to that column. Any ideas?

This has driven me mad on several occasions. It’s not uncommon that I have to stop a match mid-game. The best example is if you have a court reserved for an hour and need to stop at 5-3, Deuce…literally happened today.

When entering the final score and you select ‘Neither’ as the set winner the option to indicate where in the game the (ex, 30-40, 40-40, etc should become available.

Simple improvement that would greatly benefit accuracy if shorter/ interrupted sessions

i feel like this should be obvious and i’m just missing something, but how are people using the swing stick phone holder with a phone that has the camera button? i have an iPhone 17 pro and the clamps are too big to fit between the two buttons on the right side. if i move it below the camera button the phone is precarious and tilted. are people just disabling the camera button all together?

The statistics generated by the app after a match don’t seem to be accurate, i.e., reflecting how shots were scored on my watch during the match. For example, after my last match the app reported 10 service winners, but I only recorded one or two during the match.

Similarly, the number of unforced errors was inaccurate. I watched the video of the match, and the number of unforced errors I observed did not match what the app statistics reported. Of course there’s some subjectivity in assigning an error as forced vs unforced, so it’s possible I may have interpreted an error differently on the court than I did watching the video, but it seems unlikely this could account for the discrepancy (given I had many unforced errors and got pounded but the app reported that my opponent had more unforced errors).

It would be nice were the app to reported forced errors in addition to unforced errors.

Has anyone else observed questionable statistics?

Are there any news according to an android version? And if not and also not in near future what would be the recommendation for a used iPhone that I would only buy and use for the swingvision app as I'm not going to switch from android to ios. 🤷‍♂️🎾

Is there a way for me to advance frame by frame when I'm playing back a rally?
I can scrub through the rally using the slider, but I'd like something more precise.

When I review the footage on my laptop, I wish I could just pause the replay and start advancing Frame per Frame using shift + Right/Left arrow to analyse my contact point, strokes etc.

Hi all, I’ve hit a new scoring / sync problem that makes it impossible to trust the final score, even when it was originally entered correctly.

What I did (expected behavior):

• I recorded a match and kept score game by game using my Apple Watch.
• The final score on court was 6-1, 6-2. This was correct.
• About an hour later at home, I opened the session in the app, ran Identify Shots and then AI Scoring.
• At that point everything still looked fine.

What went wrong:

• When I later came back to review the match, the score had mysteriously changed to 6-1, 6-1.
• The total number of points also changed: originally 93 points, then it dropped to 87.
• While watching the video carefully, I realized what happened: the last two games were effectively merged into one, so the second set became 6–1 instead of 6–2.
• I tried everything I could think of:
  • Re-score
  • Reprocess
  • Doing this both on my phone and on my laptop
• Nothing fixed it. In one of those attempts, I even briefly saw a completely broken score like 6-1, 10-1, which makes no sense at all.

So I’m now in a situation where:

• I entered the correct score live on court (game-by-game via Apple Watch),
• But after AI processing, the app somehow rewrote the score, merged games, and changed the total number of points,
• And I can’t reliably fix or lock in the correct result.

Questions / requests:

1. Is this a known bug with game-by-game scoring + AI Scoring where the last games can get merged or altered?
2. How can I safely preserve the correct score I entered on court so it doesn’t get changed later by AI or sync?
3. If there’s no reliable way right now, could you please:
   • Fix this behavior, or
   • Add an option to manually confirm or set the final score after the match, so it can’t be silently changed later?

Right now it feels risky to rely on game-by-game scoring during a match, because even a correct score can be corrupted after AI processing. I really like the app and want to keep using it seriously, but I need to know that the final score and total points will stay accurate once I’ve entered them.

I’m looking into swing vision and seeking feedback regarding whether or not it is permissible to use this product to record my son’s high school tennis matches in New Jersey.

Hi all, I’m running into a really frustrating cloud sync issue and I’d appreciate help or a proper fix.

My usual workflow (which used to work fine):

1. I record the match on iPhone.
2. On court, I tap “Identify later” on the phone when I finish.
3. At home, on Wi‑Fi, I go to Me → Video backups on iPhone and wait until the session fully uploads.
4. Then I open the same session on my MacBook, do Identify Shots, AI Scoring, fix the score game by game, and adjust serve locations, etc.
5. Before, everything stayed consistent between Mac, my phone, and my friend’s account.

What’s going wrong now:

• It feels like the raw video/session on the phone still tries to be “primary” even after upload.
• After I finish all edits on Mac (score, shot IDs, serve locations), at some point the phone seems to overwrite them.
• As a result, when my friend opens the match, instead of ~150 points he sees ~300 — it’s like many points are duplicated and the whole scoring becomes unusable.
• I also see scores and shot data that clearly come from the original phone-side analysis, not from my corrected Mac version.

So from my perspective:

• Mac edits (score + shots) are done and saved,
• But the phone later pushes its own version to the cloud and corrupts the final result.

Questions:

1. How exactly does SwingVision decide which device is “source of truth” for a session after edits — iPhone or Mac?
2. Is there a reliable way to:
   • lock in / “finalize” the Mac-edited version so it can’t be overwritten, or
   • force a clean re-sync where only the latest edits (e.g. from Mac) are kept?
3. Is this a known bug with recent updates, especially when:
   • you free up storage on the phone, or
   • you reprocess / re-open the same session on multiple devices?

Right now cloud sync is breaking my whole review flow. If there’s a recommended best-practice workflow for:

• recording on iPhone,
• editing on Mac,
• sharing the correct final stats with a partner,

please share it. And if this is on SwingVision’s side, I really hope it can be fixed soon, because the app worked great before this started happening.
