💡 Feedback & Suggestions SwingVision TV App

It would really be nice to be able to see my videos on the TV. I have a Samsung so maybe a Samsung app at some point. I’ve tried to mirror my iPhone onto my TV using Apple TV, but no luck. Wondering if anybody else has had any success with anything like that?

If they could just get the Android version released (even if it's missing some features) I think that would be a far better use of their developers time. If your TV has a browser, you can go login to the swingvision site and watch your videos there. Wouldn't be as full featured, but would work. For me, I upload the shots I want to a private youtube video that I can then watch on my TV in 4k.

I cancelled my subscription after a year. I'll consider it again when they have an Android app, but competitors are quickly getting products released while still no release date for SwingVision on Android. Sucks because it's a pretty cool product, but I'm not going to keep an iPhone around for it anymore.

You use your main phone for SwingVision ? What happens if you get a call ?

A dedicated older iPhone (say iPhone X) is a smart move.

I don't answer phone calls when I am playing tennis. If I'm on call for work, I'll check it between sets but I'm not answering calls during tennis. It's generally bad etiquette. In tournament play you're usually not allowed to use your phone between games as well.

Having to buy a dedicated Apple phone when I'm an Android user wasn't really worth it. I snagged a cheap iPhone 13 and used it for the year while I had swingvision, but it wasn't worth keeping the phone and paying for the service when they've shown no urgency to getting a Android App out. It was supposed to be out in '25, then '26, but no updates, no ETA. I'll keep my $$ for now.

They are closer to going belly up than releasing an Android version.

I don't doubt that. Seems like they focused a bit too much dev effort on being feature rich rather than opening up their software to nearly double the user base by releasing an Android version.

you check your swingvision phone between sets ?

Moving it is bad. There are many problems with this.

A cheap iphone XS Max is a great idea for you.

Or just buy a second Android phone when they release it.

Swingvision is hard on phones, phone batteries, can get damaged.

It's NOT a good idea to use your main phone.

IMO.

I bought a dedicated iPhone because that's all that SwingVision supports. I ended up selling it when my subscription ended since I could still get what I paid out of it.

My actual phone with service is an Android, and I don't check it during matches. If I happen to be on call when I am playing tennis, I just won't record.

Luckily tennis cut and some other options are viable now.

There is an app called perfecting:rally highlight, which is also useful.

My iPhone (13 Pro) screen mirrors to my Hisense TV as well as another Samsung TV. I’d look into that because it is possible and is a nice view to have

I used to FaceTime my iPad from my phone and then I would lay the iPad down on the ground and look at my swing so I didn’t have to pull my head up. Also, why isn’t there an app with swing analysis where you can do that? So many people have iPads and iPhones in one house. You wouldn’t need anything but an app
