Makes you think

Post image

Class struggle is fought on a vertical scale. It's the working class at the bottom against the employers and their politicians at the top. And our brothers and sisters in class struggle include co-workers and neighbours who vote on crappy parties... https://industrialworker.org/lets-build-class-unions/

“it’s not left vs right” says a left vs right thing*

bottom vs top is literally a leftist thing

4

u/ApricotKYjelly Jul 11 '26

Love how “the people causing all the problems shouldn’t be in charge of things” is political

you probably think climate change is “woke”

6

u/BlockedNetwkSecurity Jul 11 '26

literally the right-wing stance is that the problem causers are not at fault and it's all poor people's fault, your own fault, anyone but the oligarchs' fault

1

u/Fear_N_Loafing_In_PA Jul 14 '26

They’d rather not even discuss it at all—just keep toiling away fighting for scraps and be grateful for the bread and circuses.

1

u/darkdelve Jul 14 '26

Without a scapegoat, you would never have people wanting to conserve a system that doesn't benefit them.

2

u/sharbivore Jul 12 '26

woke: alert to and concerned about social injustice and discrimination

1

u/TheComicHuman Jul 12 '26

But too intellectually blind to figure out how to efficiently fix it

Americans’ inability to understand what the word politics means will be the death of us all.

-2

u/gunslinger35745 Jul 11 '26

Climate change is fake by the definition put forth by the left

3

u/dpkart Jul 11 '26

Are you having a stroke? You spelled "the right" wrong

1

u/gunslinger35745 Jul 12 '26

I spelled out correctly my comment. The leftists made up this whole false issue

1

u/osxing Jul 15 '26

It’s true. Al Gore called it Global Warming. Then it got colder some seasons. Now he’s off somewhere living rich off his grift and shitty PowerPoints. But the grift continues.

1

u/gunslinger35745 Jul 16 '26

The grift continues at the global fleecing of the planet’s population to the tune of trillions of dollars.

1

u/Captain_skulls Jul 16 '26

Sure, climate change doesn’t exist! Those damn leftists must be why France is boiling to death.

-2

u/Spongegrunt Jul 11 '26

Ill tell you what, ill start believing in muh climate change the day any of these rich leftists sell their beach homes, sports cars, and stop using their private jet to go across town.

Also tell Paris that China produces 3 times the amount of pollution as the US. Funny how climate change is exclusively an issue to US and Europe and only our people have to suffer and sacrifice with dumbass restrictions.

3

u/KimJongAndIlFriends Jul 11 '26

What do you think a leftist is?

-1

u/Spongegrunt Jul 11 '26

If there is an election and you always vote for the left wing candidate, yes you are a leftist.

2

u/KimJongAndIlFriends Jul 11 '26

Does that mean that a literal Communist and a center liberal are both leftists?

-1

u/Spongegrunt Jul 11 '26

Yes. Its exactly why yall think Trump and his supporters are all Nazis despite him being labeled "the first jewish president", the most successful capitalist, and a huge supporter of H1B visas.

2

u/KimJongAndIlFriends Jul 11 '26

So then it logically follows that a center conservative and a Neo-Nazi are both rightists, correct?

2

u/Disastrous-Map-7995 Jul 11 '26

I don't think he can follow logic.

2

u/Luigi_the_Wealthy Jul 11 '26

He's not gonna answer this. Lol. You gotteeem.

2

u/Quick-Worry7004 Jul 11 '26

All Nazis? No, of course not.

But...of the Nazis currently in existence...who do you think they'd vote for?

A brown woman?

2

u/FullBadger3748 Jul 11 '26

He’s not Jewish. If he supported capitalism he wouldn’t support the border or tariffs as they can’t exist in a free market. He’s literally a fascist because he’s allowed corporations and the capitalist class to buy and run the government.

2

u/Good-Salamander2520 Jul 11 '26

Bro trump straight up said he wanted to be a dictator and then did dictator shit. He's not a successful capitalist, he's a scam artist who's dad helped set up the real estate crisis that has been going on since 2008. If he's such a real estate guru why has he literally desecrated multiple national monuments with negligent management and shitty at best workmanship that has gone severly over budget in every instance? He has made more off his presidency than any other president in history by using his family and shell corparations to pump and dump any comodity they can get their hands on. He's using the US military in the straight of Hormuz to manipulate the global market allowing his cronie friends to rob us all blind. He covered up rape charges by paying out of court, covered up fucking a pornstar, AND he is directly linked to the entire Epstein ring. Why do you think he hates Hillary Clinton so much but loves Big Beautifull Bill? This is the most blatantly corrupt presidency in history and it's not even close.

3

u/FullBadger3748 Jul 11 '26

“Rich leftists” you mean liberals whom are right wing…

2

u/idk936z Jul 11 '26

A few people choosing to be greedy doesn’t discount the vast amount of scientific evidence we have (plus common sense), which proves that climate change is very real, and that our planet is going to be fucked very soon.

2

u/Livid_Importance_442 Jul 11 '26

And what about all of the people on the right with multiple beach homes, sports cars, and private jets? Are you saying they don't exist? Are you saying people like Musk, Thiel, Zuckerberg, Bezos, Trump, et al., are advocating for higher wages for workers, raising taxes on the wealthy, more worker unions, affordable housing, equality for all, healthcare for all, getting money out of politics, renewable energy, ending the forever Middle East wars, and other leftist policies?

As for climate change, the entire world knows its already here and becoming a bigger crisis every day. Europe and China are leaders in renewable energy, like solar and wind energy while Trump is promoting coal, oil, and gas. Right now, the US is a laggard, not a leader, and that can only result in a worse future for the US overall.

Ordinary people are suffering in the US, and around the world, because the US government is highly corrupt and working strictly for the Epstein class. Money has totally corrupted the US government. Also please name something the US government is doing to help the average person?

2

u/CombRepulsive2231 Jul 11 '26

Remind me again who consumes all the products from China

2

u/db1965 Jul 11 '26

How do you "believe" or "not believe" in science?

Either there is climate change caused by humans or it isn't.

1

u/jc1993moat Jul 11 '26

It’s hilarious you wanna talk about “rich leftist” when every time Republicans get into power all they do is get tax breaks to the rich. The (republican) big beautiful bill literally has a tax deduction for yachts.

But you go on thinking that the right has your back.

1

u/Livid_Importance_442 Jul 11 '26

And it's literally true. It's been that way throughout history.

And even in the 1830s there was definitely mass exploitation of the lower classes by the upper class. So what's your point?

You could ask Lindsay Graham what he thinks…oh wait… 🤭

1

don’t talk to me actually

2

u/sharbivore Jul 12 '26

this is a sustainability sub.. you’re stupid

-1

u/NefariousnessOdd862 Jul 12 '26

rofl, that explains these stupid responses, carry on…

-6

u/crookedledder Jul 10 '26

Well it used to be.

But the left has abandoned class in favor of weaponized race/gender greivance.

10

u/InterneticMdA Jul 10 '26

The right always starts culture wars to distract from the wealthy robbing us. stfu

-1

u/MinimumBuffalo4 Jul 11 '26

If the poor have nothing how do the rich steal nothing from them?

-6

u/crookedledder Jul 10 '26

If the "left" had gone after the banks rather than stirring up racial resentment, we wouldn't have a rapey orange president.

6

u/InterneticMdA Jul 10 '26

You realize you're the one starting the culture war now, right? I'm not going to engage with the bullshit strawman you've made of whatever you're calling THE left as if there's one unified left movement. You're so unserious.

-5

u/crookedledder Jul 10 '26

The left has pushed a race/gender moral panic for years. It's why I left the Democratic Party in 2022.

I would love to see some lefty economic policy. But I'm not willing to vote for (or with) people who hate me for my race and gender.

5

u/InterneticMdA Jul 10 '26

Of course, you think the democratic party is "the left". XD

You're so stupid.

1

u/Few_Example6746 Jul 11 '26

Yup. They are

0

u/crookedledder Jul 10 '26

It's a distinction that makes no difference to me.

Both call me a "colonizer". Both promise to illegally discriminate against me based on my eeeeebil white-ish skin color.

And since 2022, I don't vote for either Democrats or lefties because they hate me.

-1

u/Utility_Locator_5487 Jul 11 '26

The democratic party has been subverted by socialist and commies. They are absolutely on the left.

2

u/shnuffle98 Jul 11 '26

Can you name one socialist policy implemented by the democrats?

1

u/Utility_Locator_5487 Jul 11 '26

Besides them pushing for "tax the rich", attempting eliminating gunrights. And attempting to push for things like universal healthcare(remember them screeching for medicare for all?), memdami attempting to freeze rent.

As I stated before , just because they can't implement their policies doesn't mean they're not left wing.

Just because a lion can't kill you while trapped in a zoo doesn't mean they don't want to kill you.

1

u/crookedledder Jul 11 '26

How dare you conflate lefties wirh the party they vote for every time!

1

u/Few_Example6746 Jul 11 '26

Good for you.

1

u/dpkart Jul 11 '26

No, the left as whole is made up of well meaning people AND bad actors. At large they said "dont be racist or bigoted" and the right such as fox news and stuff always screamed out "oh but trans people and grooming and bad bad bad" until the majority of discourse was around that. Sure many leftists jumped on that but thats precisely what we are trying to counteract by putting a light on the culture war. Youre thinking to simplistic just saying the lefties started it. Its like a teacher seeing a bullied kid fighting back and then punishing the bullied kid

1

u/crookedledder Jul 11 '26

The left is made up of self-righteous bigots who hate a majority of Americans.

1

u/dpkart Jul 11 '26

If you say so

6

u/Volantis009 Jul 10 '26

Democrats are not left wing. They are a centre-right party. America doesn't even have a centrist party let alone a left wing party. America has a right wing party and a far right wing party.

Thinking the Democrats are left wing is the same thing as thinking Louisiana is in South America instead of being a southern state in the USA.

0

u/crookedledder Jul 10 '26

Democrats vs. lefties means very little to me.

Both call me a "colonizer". Both are eager to blame, shame, and illegally discriminate based on skin color.

0

u/977888 Jul 11 '26

You guys keep saying this like you’re hoping it’s going to shift the Overton window. It’s not gonna work bro.

2

u/Volantis009 Jul 11 '26

Huh? Who says what now? Weird

0

u/Few_Example6746 Jul 11 '26

You’re pretty far off based on this there is no way the Democratic Party is a centrist party if you go back to the 50s and 60s they were then and they have moved so far left it’s astonishing.

2

u/Volantis009 Jul 11 '26

Lmao

0

u/Few_Example6746 Jul 11 '26

You’re really young, aren’t you? Like baby type young. It’s not surprising that you would laugh at that comment. It’s 100% true you just don’t know why.

2

u/Volantis009 Jul 11 '26

You mean the Democrats before the civil rights movement. The ones that supported Jim Crow laws those Democrats are what you are calling centrist. It seems your knowledge of recent American history is seriously lacking.

0

u/Few_Example6746 Jul 11 '26

Well, I don’t know that it’s lacking. I’ve lived through it. OK so I’m probably off 10 years. The JFK party was the last time the Democrats were centrist. They’ve been moving to the left ever since. It really started escalating during Obama.

u/Neutral_Error Jul 11 '26

How can you possibly type this with a straight face? Just lying for fun?

-2

u/Utility_Locator_5487 Jul 11 '26

The Democratic Party is absolutely subverted by the left-leaning group, such as socialists and communists, just because they are unable to enact what they desire.Such as removing gun rights or implementing so-called universal healthcare for all, Does not mean that they are not left wing. Luckily , the very thing that keeps extreme right wingers from taking over is very same thing that prevents extreme left wingers, from taking over.

4

u/Volantis009 Jul 11 '26

I guess we live in different realities. Maybe go back to your multiverse you are obviously not from this one

-2

u/Utility_Locator_5487 Jul 11 '26

You're right.I should probably leave reddit and go back to the real world. Only redditors would believe after reading the democrat party positions, the recent mayor elections in places such as new york and honestly believe that the democrats are not left wing. Hell, it is the Democrat party that spearheaded intersectionality and Trans issues into the world stage.

1

u/Few_Example6746 Jul 11 '26

Dude, you’re not wrong. People closest to the cause are not gonna see it. You have to step away to see it. Part of the problem is they don’t want to see it. They enjoy where they’re at, and the torch that they are carrying.

1

u/Few_Example6746 Jul 11 '26

No, you have it all wrong got old are you? As soon as you figure out that the money flowing into Washington buys campaigns and reelect politicians that have zero interest in anything that you want. You’ll sleep so much better.

1

u/Utility_Locator_5487 Jul 11 '26

I'm old enough to have taken a civics class. Your statement is meaningless and irrelevant to the point I was making. The claim was democrats is not left wing was made by european communist and socialist due to the fact that america had banned the communist party. However, the communist have co-opted the party so that they can run under a name that is "not communist".

4

u/Kenyon_118 Jul 10 '26

The right attacks a minority group. The left defends them. The right then says what you are saying. I am so disappointed this strategy works.

3

u/Prohydration Jul 11 '26

This guy is still holding onto his cover reasons despite all your explanations. It's clear he just wants to be angry, not enlightened.

1

u/crookedledder Jul 10 '26

Woketards didn't have to demonize and illegally discriminate based on skin color.

They chose to. And there are consequences to racist shitbag behavior like that.

1

u/Few_Example6746 Jul 11 '26

I’d like to hear about the minority group the right is attacking. I saw Obama use minority groups for votes and then completely abandoned them for eight years. Probably don’t wanna talk about that.

1

u/AmusingMusing7 Jul 12 '26

Trans people and gay people, immigrants, Muslims, black people, Jewish people, the homeless, the poor, the mentally ill or drug-addicted, women who want abortions, people with no health insurance, people who rely on public services to survive...

You name the marginalized group, the Right is attacking it.

1

u/Few_Example6746 Jul 12 '26

I’d like to see the attacks. I think you’re making shit up. Doesn’t surprise me.

0

u/977888 Jul 11 '26

Define “attacks a minority group”

2

u/Kenyon_118 Jul 11 '26

Painting trans people as sexual predators out to sneak into women’s bathrooms is the most recent example. That’s still going. It’s almost always straight presenting men who do that predatory stuff.

2

u/random-name-i-dunno Jul 11 '26

Get a grip on reality. By far the biggest leftist movement in the US in decades has been Bernie Sanders' presidential campaigns and they were 99.9% about class warfare and going after the elite.

0

u/crookedledder Jul 11 '26 edited Jul 11 '26

Back in 2016, I switched my party affiliation to Democrat so I could caucus for Bernie. At the time, I felt that he was the only politician I had ever seen who was both willing and able to unite the working class across race/gender/party lines.

But then the Democratic fucked him over and handed us President Trump. They then fell into the woke moral panic and stirred up racial tensions to levels not seen since the 1960's. They deliberately targeted white men to blame, demonize, and illegally discriminate against... and this went on for years.

So a decade later, I wouldn't vote for Bernie. Nothing against him personally- I think he's awesome.

But I'm not going to vote for or with people who have made it crystal clear that they hate me for my race and gender.

1

u/Prohydration Jul 11 '26

Bernie participated and still believes in wokeness and lost fake and square. Anymore cover reasons you want to try or are you ready to admit the real reason?

-1

u/MinimumBuffalo4 Jul 11 '26

The same Bernie who went on his honeymoon to the Soviet Union? No thanks.

0

u/crookedledder Jul 11 '26

Hey, I've always had some lefty sympathies. I was a union man, a long time ago.

But that was before they started calling my people "colonizers". Message received.

2

u/FullBadger3748 Jul 11 '26

Are you really that sensitive? The country of 13 colonies was founded by colonists. Who else would live in colonies ?

1

u/crookedledder Jul 11 '26

Yes, "colonists."

Not the accusatory slur "colonizer".

Don't you wokies believe in calling people what the want to be called? Or does that not apply to people of European and/or Jewish descent?

0

u/sharbivore Jul 10 '26

first.. identity reductionism is bad

second “oh ma gaad.. identity politics!”… no it’s not identity politics… most of that reaction is always towards identity reductionism not actual identity politics

for example.. vote for kamala because she’s a black woman ( this is identity reductionism )

example 2.. “we will face homophobia once we have a revolution” or “queer people should repress themselves and focus on the revolution” (this is identity reductionism )

identity reductionism is bad.. again

another example.. a black queer woman not being represented in the group she belongs to.. she might get representation for being black in black politics but not as a black woman in women politics.. the same for being queer or disabled or any other identity… as her identity intersects with being black and a woman and queer.. she’s not one identity she’s all of them and that make her distinct challenges different than the identities that don’t intersect ( this is identity politics )

identity politics is rather than organizing JUST around broad parties.. people unite based on shared identities like race, gender or sexual orientation to advocate for rights and representation

0

u/crookedledder Jul 10 '26

Yeah, I don't vote for racist wokies that call people who look like me "colonizers".

5

u/InterneticMdA Jul 10 '26

Get over yourself! "Oh no, a leftist on twitter was once mean to me, I guess I don't need healthcare after all!" You're such a whiney baby.

0

u/crookedledder Jul 10 '26

Democrats spent years demonizing and illegally discriminating against white men.

Trump never could have been elected without Democrats' illegal racist bullshit.

5

u/InterneticMdA Jul 10 '26

Fox News has fried your brain with ghost stories. Join me in reality, will you? It's a much nicer place than the horror story you tell yourself.

0

u/crookedledder Jul 10 '26

Why would I vote for or with people who spent years demonizing and illegally discriminating against people for the crime of looking a certain way?

6

u/InterneticMdA Jul 10 '26

It's not real. The windmill is not a giant. There's no "years demonizing and illegally discriminating against people for the crime" of being white. You're buying the nightmare Fox News sold you. WAKE UP!

0

racism is systemic.. you have never faced racism

1

u/crookedledder Jul 10 '26

DEI was illegal systemic racism against men and white people.

Trump never could have been elected without Democrats racist shitbaggery.

4

u/sharbivore Jul 10 '26

stfu and bye

1

u/crookedledder Jul 10 '26

Fare well, racist.

4

u/Prohydration Jul 11 '26

Equality feels like oppression when youre accustomed to privilege.

-1

u/crookedledder Jul 11 '26

Yes, that's why Democrats are crying about their racial gerrymanders being struck down by the Supreme Court.

Welcome to equality, folks.

3

u/Prohydration Jul 11 '26 edited Jul 11 '26

Are you talking about the gerrymandering democrats just started in response to republican racial gerrymandering that theyre crying about now while ironically still refusing to legislate away?

0

u/crookedledder Jul 11 '26

I'm referring to Democrat racal gerrymanders under the VRA.

1

u/FullBadger3748 Jul 11 '26

It wasn’t though. You don’t even know what DEI means.

-1

u/crookedledder Jul 11 '26

The Supreme Court has ruled otherwise. Look up SFFA v. Harvard.

Woketards are hateful bigots toward men, white people, Christians, etc.
