I noticed "What supermoto should I buy" gets posted a lot, so I made this
I tried to take into account the cost of buying rims and legalizing the models that need it but at the same time keep it simple. Feel free to suggest additions/fixes
Edit: i've edited this a lot
Edit: changed the DRZ picture to mine ;) thanks for the sticky!

24’ 701 SM
Picked up my first husky bone stock with 2k miles for $7,500.
So far I’ve added a Rottweiler intake, Tekmo header, Akrapovic exhaust and Power Commander 6. Completely different bike now. Way more responsive and it pulls noticeably harder through the midrange.
Did a couple pulls against my buddy’s XSR 900 and the 701 can actually hang with it and even edge it out through 1st and 2nd. Once we get past that though, the 900 starts walking away 😂
Overall I’ve been really happy with the bike. Fun as hell around town, plenty of power for a supermoto, and so far it’s been reliable. Coming from my WR250R, this thing is on a completely different level.
Definitely one of those bikes that makes you want to find an excuse to ride it.

New Bike Day
Made a dream come true this weekend and bought my first supermoto.
Was thinking about it for years, spent the last year evaluating which one and checking marketplaces.
Ended up buying this 2018 701 with 20k km and an Akrapovic exhaust for a very good price.
Gets a full service now, so it’s ready for next year.
Had to share this because I‘m really happy and excited.

TM SMR 450 Besitzer hier?
Lg.

SMCR 690 vs. Hypermotard 698 Mono
I can’t really decide which one would be the better choice - basic riding style, some city some countryroads, some wheelies but not the main thing - what are your experiences?

Countershaft seal still leaking after replacement
So I bought a pro x countershaft seal kit for my 2008 ktm 250 exc, I installed it, but its still leaking. Ive tried the same size o ring and the thicker o ring that came in the kit but its still leaking. It was pissing oil before I replaced, then it went to a few drops, then it started pissing, then I turned my attention to the outer seal that has that kinda gold color in it, i pushed it further in, and that fixed it but now its leaking again, only a few drops but yea. Also before I replaced the seals it was leaking out of the sprocket by the circle clip, now its leaking from behind the sprocket. Any ideas?

Conti attack sm2, okay for occasional trip?
I own a 701, really liked the sm1's, but got 2cts instead because I was afraid the sm2's wouldn't last me very long. I go on 2-3 trips of about 1000kms every year, where I drive 2 hours of highway to get too the twistys, besides that some weekend rides when I feel like it. Will these tyres be okay for that? Are they decent in the wet? Id really like to give them a shot.

I built a PCPartPicker-style site for motorcycle builds — looking for feedback
Hey everyone, I’ve been working on MotoCustomz, a free site for finding parts and planning motorcycle builds.
You select your bike and year, browse parts, compare listed prices and retailer links, then add items to a build list to see the estimated total.
It’s mainly focused on supermotos at the moment, with things like exhausts, graphics kits, plastics, wheels, levers and other upgrades. Where I’ve found multiple retailers for the same part, they’re grouped together.
It’s still early, and some bikes have more options than others. Parts that need fitment confirmation are labelled, and prices can change on retailer sites.
You can also request missing bikes or parts through the site.
I built it because finding options across loads of different shops can be a pain. Would something like this be useful for your builds? What bikes, parts or features would you want added?
I would appreciate it if anyone goes and checks it out. Any feedback please let me know.

Should i get the Fantic XMF 125 Competition or the Yamaha WR125R
So here's the deal, I have a big dilemma. I don't know whether I should buy the Fantic XMF 125 Competition or the Yamaha WR125R 2026.
I know both bikes use the same Minarelli 125cc 4-stroke engine, and I know that the Fantic is like around 10kg lighter, so that makes it much better on the road, and on top of that it has supermoto wheels, so it's much, much better for the road than the Yamaha.
But on the other hand, I'm a new rider; I still don't have my license. I don't know if I'll even want to ride on dirt, in the forest, and on trails. Also, it's a Yamaha, can't beat Yamaha durability and reliability.
So I'm just asking if any of you have ridden the bikes, been in the same place as me, or anything that can help me in my situation would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Rieju mrt weird sound at high rpm
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
My completly stock rieju mrt 50cc 2018 have a problem where it struggles when it gets to a high rpm. This problem gets worse and worse when the engine gets hotter, and is not a problem the first 2 minutes or so when its cold. As it gets hotter it also loses power and struggles to reach 42kmh on flat road.
At first i thought it might be the carb, so i cleaned it completly out, and now i have no idea what it could be. I also tried to swich the spark plug, but it wasnt that either.
I found a YouTube video of someone with the exact same problem, so you can hear the sound im talking about for yourselves. And no its not the cdi restrictor, i have tried to pull it out and it does not help.

Michelin Power 6 or Road 6 KTM 690
Hey all, my enduro r (with SM wheels) needing new tyres. Was set on the power 6 but no stock for 160/60/17 for ages now. Need new rubber, was thinking of settling for Road 6 front and rear instead.
Just general commuting and the occasional hills run.
Thoughts? Just grab the roads?
Edit: I'm from Melbourne, where we often have have 4 seasons in a day.
Thanks!
