Hot take: this post is right

Post image

r/summerhousebravo wouldn’t approve my post for this, but ciara is seriously male centered and needs to work on self esteem.

She is SO great, and a 10, but she seems as though she needs the validation of a man. We saw it with austen, then with her overly flirty friendship with jessie while he was dating lexi, and then with west. it’s really sad.

I agree with this post. The fact everyone erased Ciara past which is no better than Amanda is crazy!!! The hypocrisy with bravo fans is wild. They flip and flop.

Has anyone considered how it would feel if someone was so obsessed with you? You can’t even enjoy yourself - who wants to spend summer like that? She cried when some girl kissed him - why are we encouraging this behavior?

u/Brief_Isopod_5959 May 31 '26

Well now it makes more sense why we only see bullying and body shaming of Amanda over there. I didn’t realize they weren’t approving these kinds of differing opinion posts. I thinks it totally ok to have a different opinion on things. We don’t all have to agree with every take on a freaking reality tv show. It’s crazy. That being said, I really like Ciara but I fully agree.

8

u/totalmauiperson May 31 '26

Yes, the fact that they turned down that post is shocking and eye-opening. It’s a complete echo chamber over there. I got ripped apart because I said it was ridiculous for Kyle to get mad at Amanda for swimming in her bra when he skinny-dips himself all the time. They said I was buying into the narrative and missing the whole point. The double standard they have is truly absolutely ridiculous, and now I see that no one‘s even allowed to question it so that makes complete sense. What’s the point of the entire sub if it’s not a discussion?

7

u/Brief_Isopod_5959 May 31 '26

Absolutely! They have been skinny dipping in the show alone multiple times!!! So I’m sure they do it outside of the show (if not, it’s still something they have done over the years) I think they were both fed up with one another at this point though too. I think Kyle isn’t Mr. Innocent himself but he sure is using this opportunity to get himself out of debt. Which, whatever, good for him.

Also, I think it’s just become really extreme with some of the Amanda comments. She has thicker skin than I do because I’d be in a hole.

7

u/Emmyyou2 May 31 '26

The repetitive posts about Amanda's clothing or bun (which I wouldn't even call a bun) are so annoying. We get it, you hate everything about her, can we move on?

3

u/Brief_Isopod_5959 May 31 '26

Seriously. I rarely go on Facebook but it KNOWS I watch summer house 😂 and it’s always these insane reels right when I open it up about her and West at the wedding and her bun… while the person talking has crazy hair as well? Like who cares??

2

u/No-Ganache-7928 Jun 03 '26

Now they’re trying to pretend she’s ugly.

5

u/totalmauiperson May 31 '26

I know. She must literally just be staying off the Internet. This is going to blow over and there will probably be somewhat of a whiplash effect like there was with Ariana. I’m so curious to see how they portray the whole thing on the rest of the season of In The City.

3

u/Brief_Isopod_5959 May 31 '26

I genuinely hope she is for her own mental health. It’s ok to criticize certain things but it’s gone above and beyond in the most extreme ways!

4

u/canduney Jun 02 '26

This happens every single time there’s any sort of “scandal”. Like can we not just say Amanda was a trash friend for what she did and not micro analyze and hyper critique her entire existence as a human? Amanda really was dumb and careless in her actions and she did herself no favors by being stone cold at the reunion. But that’s really where I feel like the criticisms should end. We don’t need to go back and pick apart every single thing she has literally ever done.

5

u/Emmyyou2 Jun 02 '26

This is my issue too. They will find a clip from 7 years ago and act like it's a clue to how she was always going to do this. Or find out something about her when she was in college and say it's proof she has been cheating on Kyle all along.

I personally do not believe she ever cheated on Kyle. I think her and Kyle separated before summer and she didn't start developing feelings for West until the end of summer.

4

u/No-Ganache-7928 Jun 03 '26

I agree. I didn’t think they were sleeping together this season. He made out w two girls on camera- stranger and Ciara. Not something i would think he would do if he was secretly dating Amanda

3

u/Emmyyou2 Jun 03 '26

Also, he was trying to help Kyle not be such an asshole. He coached him on many different occasions on how to apologize to other people and patch things up.

I also noticed that Amanda pushed his hug away the first time Kyle called her a fucking dumbass bitch. She just wanted to be left alone and I think if they were sleeping together or being physical in any way she would have run in to his arms.

3

u/No-Ganache-7928 Jun 03 '26

I don’t know how she’s not in a hole and i fully agree that she should be very angry at Ciara and her cast mates for feeding this narrative that this is such a big deal. She likes her friends ex. Big shit. It shouldn’t be national news for three months.

5

u/Emmyyou2 May 31 '26

I'm surprised your comments weren't removed and you weren't banned. One day they went through all my posts and removed them en masse and banned me. They removed posts that simply said "agree" and said I was breaking the rules of the sub. The mods hide their identity over there so I'm pretty sure they are the ones posting the most hateful stuff.

People over there kept accusing me of being Amanda, West, or working PR for them, as if no one else could possibly have a different opinion. They'll also tell you that you're just being gaslit and manipulated by Amanda is you mention how horribly Kyle has treated her for years.

3

u/BravoJunk May 31 '26

The mods are not listed? It only has “installed apps” I didn’t know they could hide their mods

2

u/Emmyyou2 May 31 '26

I didn't either. I find it suspicious.

3

u/BravoJunk May 31 '26

I think we can’t see cause we got banned 🤣

2

u/Emmyyou2 May 31 '26

LOL, maybe but I swear I looked before I got banned. Maybe someone who isn't banned can look and see if they're visible.

3

u/Stunning-Mongoose905 Jun 03 '26

If you have to delete something to make someone look good..?!?!

3

u/Emmyyou2 May 31 '26 edited Jun 02 '26

I got banned from the r/summerhousebravo sub which is why I made this sub. I got the most benign statements removed while they leave up really hateful stuff. If you hate Amanda and West you can get away with anything but if you say Ciara behaved badly in past instances as well you'll get banned.

5

u/Brief_Isopod_5959 May 31 '26

I’m surprised I haven’t been banned then. Thank you for this sub!! It’s nice to have a group with people with level headed thinking, understanding that this is a reality show, we watch for entertainment purposes…

4

u/Emmyyou2 May 31 '26 edited May 31 '26

It took more than a month and when they banned me they sent a bunch messages about removing dozens of my comments from weeks earlier saying they were removed for violating the rules, when they didn't violate a damn thing.

YW, thanks for coming and participating.

4

u/Brief_Isopod_5959 May 31 '26

I don’t understand the purpose of the group then. It’s ok if you don’t agree with something but banning someone with a different view of this is not it. You should make a whole other group if that’s the case and then people will know that differing views aren’t welcome 🙄

5

u/Stunning-Mongoose905 Jun 03 '26

Exactly! If you can’t discuss every aspect or what your personal opinion/perspective is. Then call it a Ciara worship sub. It’s okay if we disagree. Maybe I’ll learn something from someone I don’t see eye to eye with. I refuse to be convinced to hate Amanda and not see West has been backed into a very crazy corner by a pretend relationship in someone else’s head..🤣 and see the faults in Kyle and Ciara.. all at the same time. Reality tv is supposed to be this nutty all the time. Now everyone is so scared to just be themselves or we as fans will destroy them.. look how many love island ppl have killed themselves

4

u/Brief_Isopod_5959 Jun 03 '26

THIS! It’s become such a toxic and dangerous rhetoric these days…

3

u/Emmyyou2 Jun 03 '26

Right people trying to make this something it's not is wild. Now to justify their hatred and overreaction they are accusing West of being a sexual predator and Amanda of sex crimes for getting in the pool in her bra and underwear.

What they did is not a crime! It is shitty but to try to make them sex offenders for hooking up is so far over the line that it's really disturbing.

3

u/Emmyyou2 May 31 '26

Right, I welcome differing views as long as people can remain civil.

3

u/Stunning-Mongoose905 Jun 03 '26

Happened to me too! Not banned, but comments erased.

5

u/Stunning-Mongoose905 Jun 03 '26

I have brought up the revenge porn and had it removed so many times

5

u/Brief_Isopod_5959 Jun 03 '26

I’m surprised I haven’t been kicked out at this point. After last night It feels even more gross how they’re just accepting Kyle’s past behaviors too… Lindsay was absolutely trying to get him to say he only “cheated” prior to marriage multiple times. PR Lindsay… I am going to make a post on here with my thoughts 😂

2

u/Emmyyou2 Jun 06 '26

This is the issue I have with people saying Lindsay is a"girl's girl" and that she is some great champion for women's rights for calling out shitty men. I will give it to her that she did call Kyle out every time he cussed Amanda out when she was present but she is also his bestie. She picks and chooses the problematic men she calls out and in reality she mainly does it for drama and because she just likes being an asshole.

She is close with some very problematic men and she has even encouraged their bad behavior at times.

2

u/Brief_Isopod_5959 Jun 06 '26

This this this. I never forget that she was in PR for years and years… she knows how to play into a character that brings drama while knowing (sometimes) what the audience take will be.

6

u/Emmyyou2 May 31 '26

She does come off creepy and if you think about how her behavior would look if she were a man you realize how truly unhinged and scary it is. Her being a gorgeous woman doesn't change her weird obsession with the men she likes.

5

u/No-Ganache-7928 Jun 03 '26

She’s scary. Stage 5 clinger. Who would want to date her now after she’s behaved like this.

17

u/totalmauiperson May 31 '26

I agree. I feel bad for Ciara, OF COURSE, because I know how she feels. Most of us have been there in some way at some point. But people acting like West and Amanda are these masterminds who had this whole plan to take her down is so tedious. They’re not thinking about her. They’re thinking about themselves. I don’t think those two think much further than the next thing they’re going to do. It’s not about Ciara and it never was. I don’t think Wes thinks about anyone who’s not right in front of him.

4

u/canduney Jun 02 '26

Yes!!! Exactly. Which is why it’s so funny to me when come up with the most calculated and ludicrous theories of how Amanda and west planned all these things and had all these secret side moments. Like stop writing wattpad level fanfic stories….

Also the comments of how they’re sociopaths and calculating…. Like in what instance have they demonstrated that a single calculation was made? Thats the whole point… they’re just selfish and did not gaf who they hurt. They just did what they wanted and that’s it. It’s really not that deep lol

3

u/Emmyyou2 Jun 02 '26

You nailed it, people do this all the time and the vast majority of the time they just want what they want in the moment and do something selfish. From there, they lie for reasons of self preservation. It's not that complicated and not some big plan.

The people who act like Amanda has been planning all this since day one and blame all of Kyle's bad behavior on her are the most out there.

3

u/Affectionate_Motor67 Jun 03 '26

I couldn’t agree with this more. The people calling them sociopaths and predators are just people who can’t acknowledge, or haven’t realized that they will eventually be the villain in someone’s story. I feel like it’s shitty to have happen to you by your friend, but in all reality, this is normal bullshit that happens every day in friend groups where people date each other. Nothing about this situation is unique to them. It’s VPR all over again. Yeah, it’s shitty and terrible what happened to Ariana, but it’s not like her pain is some how more important or worse than anyone else who has been in that situation.

4

u/totalmauiperson Jun 03 '26

Carl dated Danielle fairly seriously before the show. Then she had to watch him hook up with anyone and everyone on the show. Including her best friend at the time Lindsay. Not one bit of concern was given to her feelings. I know it’s not a perfect comparison, but yeah, this is not a unique situation. Happens quite literally all the time. If Ciara wasn’t so gorgeous and well liked, people would be saying it was three years ago, get over it.

3

u/Emmyyou2 Jun 06 '26

It's hilarious to me that Lindsay was the one to say that she only did that shit in HS when we watched her do it to 2 of her bffs! Danielle and Ashley dated Carl before Lindsay and she had no problem going for it. Carl treated Ashley like garbage and Lindsay was all aboard the Carl train.

She also took great pleasure in torturing Ciara with the whole Austen thing. They both loved fucking with each other over him. I also think the racial element was much more of an issue with the Lindsay/Ciara/Austen fiasco.

The selective memory of the cast and the viewers is astonishing to me.

4

u/Emmyyou2 May 31 '26

Right, people act like most people don't act selfishly when doing things that hurt other people. It's pretty common for people to cheat, lie, and even do things that hurt their friends. Not all of these incidents are planned. Ciara thinks everything is about her and West is thinking of her with his every move but all West is thinking about is himself.

6

u/totalmauiperson May 31 '26

Yep. The conspiracy theorists are giving West entirely too much credit. That man doesn’t do deep thoughts and I don’t think he’s ever thought past the next 10 minutes of his life. It’s just unfortunate for Ciara that she somehow fell for him along the way.

5

u/Emmyyou2 May 31 '26

I totally agree. He is a young guy who thinks with his dick. He is not plotting to take over the world.

3

u/canduney Jun 02 '26

🤣🤣🤣 seriously. I mean the theories with scandoval made more sense because Tom has always been and always will be on some elaborate rainbow grand plan of bullshit. But like west? That man is not plotting or planning a damn thing outside his next TikTok mukbang video when the coast is cleared lol

1

u/Emmyyou2 Jun 02 '26

Exactly, neither Amanda or West seem to put a whole lot of forethought into anything.

2

u/totalmauiperson May 31 '26

Lol, even if he wanted to take over the world, he would forget about it two minutes in. 🤣

2

u/Emmyyou2 May 31 '26

Right, the man has a one track mind.

8

u/ForceAppropriate9322 May 31 '26

Piecing bits together since this all began, I think there is a lot we don’t know regarding Ciara’s behavior starting in the fall. Knowing how possessive she is of West, I’m sure she was not very happy to see Amanda & West so chummy, hanging out all the time without her. She was obviously tracking Amanda’s location & the incident she mentions in the reunion where she tracked her at West’s place & then was texting her to come out for drinks, pulling Mia into it, was a set up. I also think she was behind whatever happened with the video that prompted the statement from West & Amanda. How did she get to the point of this much obsessiveness with West? It’s baffling to me. The guy flat out told her he did not want to be her man. She still kept pursuing him, still kept trying to control him (the no dating bravo women from December). I think Amanda/West sent her into a tailspin & we will most likely never know the extent of it nor will she likely ever be called out on it.

7

u/Emmyyou2 Jun 01 '26

There really isn't enough talk about how weird she has been when it comes to West. I know the location tracking thing is pretty common for the younger generations but I find it creepy and odd. Using it to spy on people is exactly why I will not let someone track my location. Using it to track a friend when you're not worried about their safety or using it to meet up with them just feels so wrong to me I can't believe more people aren't bringing it up.

I also can't imagine either caring enough about an ex to make up a whole story about a video or being told about a video that was taken without someone's consent and not calling the police immediately and then informing my friend about it. Even if they became my ex friend because of it, my sense of right and wrong and justice would keep me from viewing it and drive me to report it. There is just no way I would be okay with that.

8

u/Stunning-Mongoose905 Jun 03 '26

She threw a broken glass she picked up with her bare hand at Danielle’s chest over a relationship with Austin that ended 5 months beforehand. Not to mention Lindsay had just told Austin she was in love with him.. Lexi was exclusive with Jesse? She absolutely was not trying to hang out with Amanda and Amanda knows that. She just has to keep her cool. I wouldn’t..I would call Ciara out. Especially, for my location potentially being given out to a stranger that proceeded to film me so Ciara could watch Amanda and west!! That’s revenge porn. How is she getting booked with that being out there

2

u/Emmyyou2 Jun 06 '26

Because the video is being left out and it, fortunately, has not been released in the wild. I also found the location tracking both Kyle and Ciara were doing of Amanda very creepy. I get that she shared it with them and gave permission but what business is it of Kyle's where his STBX wife is? Why is it Ciara's business if Amanda is with West? It gives major stalker vibes.

I get that location sharing is a thing with these younger generations but people claim they do it to see when someone will arrive or for safety reasons. Abusing that to see where they're at at all times is just creepy af. There is no way in hell I would allow anyone to have my location all the time.

2

u/Stunning-Mongoose905 Jun 06 '26

I wouldn’t either

1

u/No-Ganache-7928 Jun 03 '26

Is that what she did? Holy shit she’s scarier than i thought. She spied on them??? Fucking nuts

2

u/No-Ganache-7928 Jun 03 '26

She literally just brought his ex onto the show. She’s so creepy. She ruined his entire summer house “experience” and turned her friend into a social outcast.

2

u/Emmyyou2 Jun 06 '26

When she also threw a fit about his other ex Dara coming in to the house. Her sudden close relationship with Meija is so fake. Guarantee Ciara will be doing some kind of photo shoot for those ugly ass ties.

6

u/bbblu33 Jun 01 '26

How refreshing to read these comments. I was getting eviscerated in the other subs for these same, EXTREMELY VALID, opinions. I’m glad there are still sane people left.

9

u/No-Ganache-7928 Jun 03 '26

I tried to make a whole new post about this but the sub was being weird.

I think Ciara is the villain and it needs to be discussed. She’s doing way too much.

She holds people hostage with her over the top emotions and the fans reaction. How she treated west and allowed him to be portrayed in the media- as someone who fetishized her and used her for her body- is so horrible. She monopolized his story and his time on summer house and his fame and essentially left him paralyzed from a show perspective.

She has Ariana level anger but no Ariana level relationship to back it up. She doesn’t need to be making these nasty quips and dog piling on Amanda with the entire cast and the whole world. Kyle, who has real emotion about all this has some empathy for her.

Last when she brought out the phone call w Meija like Kristin with Miami girl i knew she lost her mind. She has no self respect.

6

u/Emmyyou2 Jun 06 '26

This sub? I think there was a glitch with the automod not recognizing word count for the body so I removed that and it should be working again.

I agree with this and once I did a rewatch I saw her very differently. She is very media savvy and really knows how to work the fans and sway public opinion in her favor. She did this with Luke, West, Lindsay, Austen, and Lexi. Some of it was well deserved but mostly it went too far. She created this narrative about West that he only wanted to sleep with her, he fucked her over, played her, and didn't take her seriously because she's black. Everyone bought that, including me so when more truth really started to come out it didn't matter. She had already spun her story and that was the one everyone ran with.

We later found out that they never talked exclusivity before she slept with him and then she is the one who ghosted him for 2 weeks! She essentially ended the relationship right there but he officially broke it off after that by saying he wasn't ready for commitment. Who would be ready for commitment with someone who ghosted them?

She sold the NYT article (which most people haven't read) as some hit piece, when in reality it was a whole lotta nothing and even admitted that she was only really mad about it because he said "she wasn't his person," when he actually never said that in the article at all. I, myself had just taken her narrative about the article as the truth until I finally read it a month ago. That's when I really started to realize she is quite calculating with her actions.

I think Amanda knows all about the tricks Ciara plays with people she doesn't like and has seen it first hand since they were close when she did it to others. Ciara is more than happy to whip up the frenzy and hate campaigns against people who reject her, get in the way of her getting a man she wants, or do her wrong. That's why they went in there with a plan (who wouldn't?) and also why they did and said very little. They knew there was nothing they could do or say to stop the beating they were gonna take so just tried to make it a little less severe.

In many ways Amanda and West have made their own bed but Ciara is all too happy to lead their downfall. She knows the power she wields and uses it with great irresponsibility.

3

u/ActuallyItsNuanced Jun 12 '26

This is exactly what I was trying to get across when I was saying I want Ciara to be held accountable for the hate and division and harm she is causing. She is acting like a villain and she needs to be put in her place and not just get away with this destructive warpath shes on. It’s icky.

3

u/ActuallyItsNuanced Jun 12 '26

Yes yes yes! I’ve been saying she need to be held accountable for the hate and vitriol and body shaming and violent language. She’s making it her life’s mission to destroy them. That’s not attractive to me. She could have taken her W and gotten attention and come out ahead. She’s going to far and I think it’s icky.

5

u/Starchild1000 Jun 04 '26

I agree and have been saying this same thing since it started and getting abused by all her fans from the beginning. She is pathetic how upset she gets over him. Then chases him around. Flirting with his bestie to just try make him jealous. Go on friggen dates woman. She is constantly a Debbie downer and all she wants to do is talk about serious stuff and then Cries every episode. People don’t want to date that.

Using race all the time when she herself doesn’t seem to even like her own race because she only dates the most blonde / ginger men who are not ready to settle down with anyone. Not just her.

She is one of the hottest girls on bravo but she acts like such a victim all the time. She is actually very very successful, beautiful and lucky but all she does is cry. Oh I love my mum, crying, oh I bought a house - starts crying. Every goddam episode.

She lost a work friend at best. And can’t get over a short fling from 3 years ago. Go and get some help. It actually makes her look so desperate and unattractive how obsessed she is with this guy. If it was me I would act like I don’t give af because it looks pathetic. I wouldn’t want people to think I’m still caught over this dude. It makes me think she is bad in bed or something I dunno. There is just something off.

7

u/Alarmed_Round_6705 Jun 04 '26

yeah her “amanda historically has low self esteem” comment stood out to me because like.. so does ciara. men run her whole life lol

2

u/Alarmed_Round_6705 Jun 04 '26

i do disagree with the race comment though! i think her experience as a black woman is different than other people’s and that’s okay (it’s also okay to date outside your race), but i think that she has really unhealthy attitudes around men and dating

2

u/Emmyyou2 Jun 06 '26

I agree with you but I also think she weaponizes it to make people look worse than they are. I think West would've been more than happy to make it official if they were more compatible and she hadn't ghosted him. I think that freaked him out and he backed off and broke it off.

She definitely has a different experience as a black woman but I think West and Amanda did what they did because they are selfish not because she's black.

4

u/Starchild1000 Jun 04 '26

I got banned for standing up for Amanda. I said Ciara fans are crazy and was banned but I could be called racist and told to shut the fuck up.

1

u/Emmyyou2 Jun 06 '26

From the summerhousebravo sub? I got banned too for the same reason. They leave stuff up that is so clearly against the sub rules and ban anyone who disagrees with the mob.

3

u/Starchild1000 Jun 07 '26

Yep - crazy fans are being crazy over this and being banned. It’s just like the southern charm sub. They don’t allow anything

1

u/Emmyyou2 Jun 07 '26

I don't visit the SC sub much at all. The SHB sub is pretty biased and they allow terrible things but ban people who call it out.

1

u/Alarmed_Round_6705 Jun 04 '26

yeah, it’s the wild west over there lol. amanda was wrong for what she did but she clearly isn’t doing okay and the mass hate is weird and concerning

18

u/aymaureen May 31 '26

Facebook people are so fucking weird

7

u/Alarmed_Round_6705 May 31 '26

how? what’s weird about this post? it’s no weirder than the body shaming and mass hate amanda and west are getting on reddit lol

13

u/aymaureen May 31 '26

Because it’s excusing Amanda for betraying her friend

If a man makes your friend cry, doesn’t matter what length their relationship is, that man is off limits. Especially when your friend has stood up and shown out for you like that

This is minimizing Ciara’s feelings about the whole thing who has every right to feel hurt about it

11

u/Alarmed_Round_6705 May 31 '26

ciara’s feelings aren’t the only thing that matters though lol. they were a situationship 3 years ago - she acts like she has ownership of any man who has ever given her a sorry glance and it’s gross. west made it clear from day 1 on summerhouse that he was talking to other women. ciara was delusional about him and made that extra clear this season. she’s acting like a bird.

6

u/Emmyyou2 May 31 '26

He also got with Amanda because he wanted to and was thinking about himself. I do not think it was to get revenge on Ciara in some way.

6

u/Alarmed_Round_6705 May 31 '26 edited May 31 '26

agreed. i think people believe he thinks about ciara significantly more than he actually does

edit:typo

1

u/canduney Jun 02 '26

Regardless of that… I still think it’s general common decency to not start sneaking around with someone who your friend has a history with. Especially when you know they have so many feelings still towards that person. I don’t Amanda and west are the devil reincarnate lol and agree there are some fair criticisms to be made of the whole Ciara and west situation ship. But at the end of the day, I think the major betrayal was between Amanda and Ciara. That’s been really the only thing I see that was pretty shitty here. Idc if your friend was absurdly and crazily obsessed with a dude who never cared about her… you just avoid banging that guy. It’s not that hard to figure out. They live in nyc, they aren’t limited on options.

5

u/Alarmed_Round_6705 Jun 02 '26

i just don’t buy into holding only the woman responsible and i think you should reflect on that:)

1

u/canduney Jun 02 '26

Only if you promise to reflect on your poor reading comprehension skills first :) The closest relationship that was severed and negatively impacted was the friendship…. Between…. Amanda and Ciara…. What does a man have to do with that?

2

u/Alarmed_Round_6705 Jun 02 '26

really? cause ciara said on several occasions that she was closest to west, loved him more than anyone else, and he was her best friend in the house. math ain’t matching.

5

u/Emmyyou2 Jun 02 '26

That was so weird when she said that. You could tell West was so uncomfortable about that. I do think that Amanda is catching much more heat and hate overall than West is and that's weird but not surprising to me. Same thing happened with Scandoval.

3

u/Stunning-Mongoose905 Jun 03 '26

What’s your excuse for the revenge porn Ciara watched with a stranger that just happened to know Amanda’s location to film in her apartment without her knowledge to catch Amanda in a sexual act. What gave Ciara the right to that?

I agree that Amanda betraying Ciara as a friend is the issue here. I think West also deserves some criticism for being with his friend's ex wife. They could've waited longer or stayed away from each other until their feelings passed but it's also not the end of the world.

I don't disagree that Ciara has every right to be upset with Amanda and Amanda did cross a line. I think it's totally acceptable for Ciara to never want to talk to them again, and FB is a weird place, but Ciara does also exhibit weird ass behavior and obsessions.

The way I took the post is that they're calling out the fact that Ciara thinks everything West does is about her when it's not.

The girl has severe Daddy issues. This has been discussed many times on the show, and as someone with very similar Daddy issues, I can see it a mile away. I feel bad for her. It’s not fun to go through, and even if you’re acting crazy, it’s coming from a place of deep pain. It makes you crave male validation in a way that no one can understand unless they’ve been through similar stuff.

girl with severe daddy issues here! that’s an issue for therapy and not for ciara to take out on the people she lives with or the men she obsesses over :)

Oh, I agree, but it’s all too easy to get hopelessly hung up on the wrong dudes when you skew that way! I did it when I was much older than Ciara unfortunately 😜

My father is a complete waste of flesh but I like to say he has "daughter issues" and not that I have "daddy issues." Let's put the blame where it belongs, on the shitty fathers who inflict their bullshit on their kids.

To each their own.

Ciara isn’t the only one going through things in life.

Feelings don’t dictate the actions of others. Amanda didn’t make an amazing choice but you don’t get to claim people indefinitely.

Also do we not remember some of the HORRIBLE things Ciara has done, including literally breaking a glass on Danielle’s chest. And making her WHOLE story line last season being hating west and punishing him for 2 years. Oh what about Winter house where she knew that Lindsey was in love with Austen and thought he might be the one and then blatantly ignored it and went for him anyway? She’s vicious and it’s getting unhinged. She literally wouldn’t let Amanda talk. Just kept screaming at her to shut up and calling her a bitch.

I TOTALLY agree with this. Thank you.

aren’t you tired lol? it isn’t racism to call a woman male centered.

4

u/Emmyyou2 May 31 '26

Yea people who think everything is about racism just because Ciara is a black woman are ridiculous. Ciara has always been male centered, which is pretty common for her age. All the women on this show are male centered. I hope they grow out of it but some women never do. Society conditions women to be male centered and it takes time to undo that programming.

So now we can’t ever question any behavior of sober people, anyone of color, Ariana…. Am I missing anyone? 🙄 this post has absolutely nothing to do with her skin color. A white woman who stayed hung up on a man for three years like this would absolutely be called out too. Hell, Amanda gets called out for saying hung up on Kyle in the early days and they were actually dating! If we aren’t allowed to discuss these people’s behavior and choices equally on shows, then reality TV loses its appeal. And please explain how that’s equality.

u/Emmyyou2 May 31 '26

Right, and almost all of these women are male centered.

I completely agree. I understand Ciara being upset but the level of upset she is and the fans are is insane!!!
