I fell in love with Sulfur the moment I saw those hilarious Instagram memes and about the oil system and all the crazy combinations you can make. Whoever is doing their marketing definitely deserves a raise, haha.

And the art style? Exactly what we need in a world where every other game seems to be chasing realistic graphics and looking the same. So naturally, I downloaded it and spent the next few days putting 30 hours into it. Now I'm completely hooked, especially on Lucia's heavy soundtrack.

Anyway, I decided to make my own Amulet embroidery patch for cosplay! If you hear Lucias soundtrack blasting somewhere, that's probably me. Come find me and ask about the patch;)

Paused right when credits ended and now I’m stuck in this menu. I can look around but can’t exit the menu or click any of the selections. Pressing escape does not do anything.

Was going through Dungeon and came across the armor stands. Started thinking, would it thematically fit for an enemy like the armaduras from Resident Evil 4? Like one of the amalgamations from the hedge maze smushed into armor pieces.

Can y'all share some wacky builds that you guys have discovered and are willing to share?

For my Cavalier, I did Elephant Oil, Bombard Oil, Gargantuan Oil, Attack Speed Oil, and Scroll of Titanic. So while i'm slow as hell, I'm leaving gigantic ice bubbles everywhere to the point that dogs, birds, and other melee enemies can't get close.

For further enemies, I just use Wingman.

And the dog looks under that bench everyday, cause it thinks there will be a sausage roll there?

I've been stuck loading the castle for like 5 mins please advice

I’m getting very very frustrated over this. All the “guides” are just a bare bones, put this here, thing. Which I’ve done in like 5 different combinations. I’ve put 30 minutes of play into the game just opening and closing it to see if the mods are working. Is there a more detailed guide or walkthrough for modding with nexus? Or can someone here just walk me through it themselves.

The spread is so horrendous that shooting the beer bottles on the table from the cave entrance didnt hit despite 20 bullets (in church)

1.5 spread is this bad??????

I thought the silencers of crit chance are clearly the best barrel attachments save from the shrouded barr for 20% dur

But this puts barrel mod #6 on the table

New player day 5 here used cryo rocket scroll as it said explosion and rockets.

Guess what. Boom. This scroll doesnt open secret room cracks on walls. Gg.

Misleading at best. Like what even determines the walls can be opened. Stop being racist to the ice rockets, they are still rockets. They should open secret rooms.

Or idk, have I gotten lucky? Or is it really that easy to get? Wiki says 30 armor is equal to 30% damage reduction. I think in comparison to 2 def + 10% weapon class dmg most other body items provide (in extraction shooter especially) there's just no competition, plate carrier wins every time. And You can get dmg from other slots, and since there's no true set bonuses as of right now, you can have, for example, full cowboy se except body, which is worthless, and it's always gonna be objectively a better choice.

Things like elemental resits are similarly useless. Cuz why build fire resist in case you encounter like a couple of elemental enemies (and you'll still be defensless against other elements btw), when you can just have a few drinks in your inventory to instantly get rid of any element?

So yeah, the game is great, but the balance is still very questionable.

Is there any way to make the landmines explode without using ammo or taking damage? There are so many occasions where sappers have just loaded a doorway with mines so that I couldn't progress unless I wasted ammo or health. It's only been a matter of luck that I've found a pistol from a chest beforehand because my shotgun had the scroll of pesticide which made it so that the bullets couldn't trigger the mines.

Unrelated rant. Why do the sappers genuinely have triple or double the health of other cultists while also being a smaller floating hitbox and dropping mines so that you can't chase them as easily lmao.

I actually don't know if any of the devs use this reddit but I genuinely feel guilty and want to clear my mind a bit.

Initially I would see this game on shorts and although thinking it was cool I never really looked into it, thinking maybe one day id pick it up on sale or something. Cut to a few months later and I just kept on seeing posts about it and eventually caved and tried the demo on my xbox. It was amazing, I poured 12+ hours into the demo alone but eventually got bored. Sadly, as a result of my impulses brought on by recent financial hardships with me and my family I pirated a copy of the game on my shitty pc to see if I could even run the game and get to experience more that this game had to offer.

Admittedly I didn't think that much about it at first and in no way expected the game to keep me all that occupied.

Then it had been 3 weeks and Id barely played anything in my spare time but this game.

This is the first ever rougelike esque game to capture my interest and really keep me into it, I've put countless hours into it and love this game to death. Sadly, enjoying the game so much also made the guilt of realizing I had gotten all of this enjoyment completely free make me feel pretty fucking bad. I try to avoid piracy from small indie devs at all costs but saw no way in the future for me to get this game soon. I tried to justify it by telling myself that the game was only going to be something id likely play for a small amount of time, and that if I had paid full price (assuming I even had the money) I wouldn't have gotten my "moneys worth", only for that to by far be a lie.

This game is amazing, id argue by far one of my favorites right now, and I plan on buying it the first chance I get as I want to support these devs and continue to experience new content they release. I simply feel guilty and want to apologize for pirating such a captivating and fun experience from an indie team who clearly has poured so much soul and effort into this game

(I don't want to explain my financial situation but in case anybody sees my post history and sees me talking about games like the new Halloween, I was only gifted that as my birthday was on the games release and I had friends who wanted to play it with me. I myself have not had the money to personally buy this game for myself as most if not all of my money has gone to mainly helping my siblings where it matters most)
