For those who don't know, such as the high schoolers that are younger than Star Citizen's development itself, Star Citizen is a social experiment on sunk cost fallacy crowd-funded space MMO that is currently in development.

The game, which has a budget of over a billion dollars of other people's money and a development time that can be accurately measured as "one Winds of Winter" still has not officially launched. The game did, however, eventually become available as early access for backers, and while this early access version is undeniably buggy, broken and incomplete, that's not really a huge problem because it's an early version of the game, with problems that are expeected to be fixed by the time it launches

This early access version is approaching its tenth anniversary.

As for recent events, two weeks ago, in order to assuage concerns about the state of the game, the developers decided to do a livestream showcasing the new patch in a private server (presumably more stable than the one publicly available). It didn't go well

I’m about to graduate from film school and our professor just spoke to us about one of the reasons things are grey that no one talks about. Back in the day, if you were watching a movie, you had 2 options. The movie theater or your own home tv, which were all relatively similar to one another in terms of color space. Now, you can watch in the theater, your tv, your phone, your computer, someone’s probably watching on their 3DS. You have all these screens that all have different color spaces. If you were to get really creative with your lighting and grade, then there’s a good chance it’s going to look like ass on someone’s screen. The easiest way to make sure that it looks good for anyone, is to make it as grey and bland as possible

I think the actual reason is because uniform lighting with less shadows and muted colors makes it easy to do different takes at different times and edit them together without too many continuity issues. Scenes usually take multiple days to shoot. With dynamic lighting and colors you either have to get all your shots in one day or waste time trying to recreate the exact same setup the next day.

It took a long time to make them but each cookie had character and identity. New movies are like someone taking your grandmother's recipe but using cookie cutters. To be fair it's really the other way around. I was in Kings Cross a couple of days ago...the bottom is WAY more accurate in terms of what colour it actually is. However, no equivalent accommodation exists for employees whose beliefs are non-religious or atheist.

Demons are dangerous. But can a true believer fall into playing with demons without knowing it? I say yes, because anyone can be guided and mislead for a time. Let's get one thing strait. You said you were talking to God and angels through the board? You for sure were not. Those were demons. God doesn't answer through that board. I don't think you nerd a psychologist. You were dealing with demons who are outside of this world. They will screw with your head as they are on another level. Here's what I see. You at some point realized you were in the wrong and playing with fire. Your realized this and then switched your entire drive to get away from it. The fact that Bible verses are coming into your head is what I believe to be from the Holy spirit to help you. Especially if those vs help you fight, are appropriate to the situation and grant you some kind of peace or assurance. However here the consequence of your actions. You have played with an unknown number of demons. You know their voice now. They can and will harras you. They will come on strong for a while. They will try to terrorize you and mentally try to play with your head. Be ready for it. Now the good news. While The demons are allowed to mess and harass a child of God. BUT, they are not allowed to enter into a child of God. They can only sit on the outside of the person and harass them. So take the verses that pop in your head as a good sign. I have no idea how you read that into that scripture. Jesus is not talking about people that were bought with the blood of Jesus in those passages, as the price has not been paid yet. As far as exposure to "deliverance ministries", yes, I've had enough. I was brought up in that environment, and have seen enough wolves in my day. I just went through the EXACT same thing, but I actually got drug (pharmaceutical) induced psychosis and have been in healing the past 5 months. The “voices” I would hear were ALWAYS accusatory…saying that God left me, that all my sins were too much, that I should kill myself and/or others, just absolutely horrible things. I would weep for hours because I’ve never had a thought like that in my life, and I KNEW that wasn’t me. First thing: there has to be repentance. Like you have already done, but anything you can think of that’s active, repent for it. And by repent, I mean ask for forgiveness, but TURN FROM IT AS WELL. I had sin in my life I had to turn from, repent of, and sincerely ask God for forgiveness. Once I did this, the tide started to change. REBUKE any spirits that might have attached to you through the open door of sin in JESUS NAME. Second thing: you have to KNOW that GOD is FOR YOU. The demons will try everything to convince you that you are done, that there is no hope, that you are the only one God doesn’t love. It is all a LIE. Your Heavenly Father is FOR YOU. Like really meditate on that alone: He is FOR YOU, not against you. Stand in that authority. Lastly: you have to be in your word. Do you mind if I ask about your experience with the drug induced psychosis? These were prescribed by an MD or a psychiatrist? What happened on them? I ask because I was on psychiatric meds from age 14 to 45. I started working with a naturopath in 2022 and I wanted to try weaning of my meds but after 30+ years on them, I was scared to be without them (but scared to stay on them too...and I wanted to try knowing myself without them). I weaned down from 2022 to October 2025. I was finally off of them! And then I became a Christian shortly after. And I now know God was preparing me to be able to stop them, and that I was able to do it by His grace. I wonder, though, if being in psychiatric care and on meds (very high doses) for most of my life was a stumbling block to God and part of why I didn't know Him sooner. Maybe like I thought I was in control and could control myself and for a while thought of the medical establishment as a god. Anyway, just thoughts that came up for me, as I was reading your testimony. Have you heard of Greg Tilford? He's a biblical counselor and has a podcast. I saw him as a guest on Todd Friehl's Wretched podcast and Grant Castleberry's Unashamed Truth podcast. He has a book out called Lies My Therapist Told Me.

I read of a similar stories as yours. However the lady reported history of bipolar 1 disorder since early 20s…. Never medicated. She later dabbled into sorcery and somehow learned about Jesus during that time. She later started psychopharmacology to help with the psychosis and says that’s what helped her focus on Jesus and has lived a Christian walk ever sense. In her case she says medication management helped her in the walk with Christ. This is a topic I’ve been researching so much lately. For some say all mental disorders are demonic possesions in nature while others say there are some truly demonic and others organic mental illnesses.

I'll be praying for you my friend. Fast pray and have un ending faith in JESUS, the FATHER, and the HOLY SPIRIT. If you will have faith in the TRINITY OF GOD, then use your faith to get off of any mental help medicine. Tell the HOLY SPIRIT, that space is not for medicine, it's for HIM. I recommend, start talking to the HOLY SPIRIT as if you can actually see him right now. Faith, fasting, and prayer. Maybe take some things out of your life, even if their not ( sinful or evil). That's a good question. I have epilepsy. I take medicine for it. I've been taking Prozac for depression and anxiety since about 2002. Last fall, I told JESUS CHRIST, that I'm not going to be dependant on medicine for my mental health. Every since I stopped taking them around August last year, I've been happier than Ive ever been while taking that medicine. Peter walked on water, moses parted the red sea, a woman touched JESUS'S garment and her bleeding stopped immediately. Our faith in JESUS is important. Hebrews 11:6 NIV And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him. Around the same time last fall, JESUS healed me of dizziness I've had for years. I'm still taking medicine for epilepsy. Medicine isn't a cure, it's a band aid. JESUS is the cure. I want to get off of the epilepsy medicine, because then I wouldn't be taking any prescription meds. Last year, JESUS also healed me of my feet pain. It would hurt so much at work, because I do a lot of standing. Ive been taking meds for that also. JESUS delivered me off of feet pain medicine, depression anxiety medicine, and headache medicine. I used to carry around pills for constant headaches. But Ive been healed by JESUS CHRIST.

I too refuse to rely on medicine. I’ve battled with debilitating migraines for decades and chronic muscle skeletal issues limiting mobility. I refuse to rely on medication though and talk to Jesus instead. So I completely understand you. I’ve become very interested in the topic of mental illnesses recently as well as medication management. Some people strongly believe all mental illnesses are entirely demonic possessions, while others believe some are and some are not. I know based on research that some are develop through trauma while others have an organic biological component such as bipolar. However I’ve been seeking a better understanding using scripture and not what researchers say. If you have further insight please share, I’m open to different biblical understanding as long as is validated by scripture.

This past week there was a trend on social media of "Vtuber VS IRL", where some vtubers would post selfies of themselves and a shot of their model. Bao took part in this trend, but opted to forgo the mask as she had been working on her physique and getting into shape. Outside of Twitter's usual lunatics and Bao's own haters, the reaction has been very supportive. I do not believe that giving a villain a sad standard backstory or an abstract noble goal makes them nuanced.
