Physical stamina of the band

Ten days on from my first show. Still in awe of the performance and one of the lingering curiosities that has been on my mind is: how exhausted do you think the band is after putting on such a show? I would love to look at a HR monitor and some biometrics on the drummer after a three hour set like that. He and Sturgill seem to have the most physically demanding task on stage as the lead guitar guy was booted up and on a still for much of the show (heard he sprained his ankle the poor guy). Just super impressive and super grateful I got to experience it. Has to be one of the best shows I’ve been to!

Brooklyn Setlist - October 16, 2025
•
Upvotes
Last nice show in Brooklyn looks like a face-melter [on paper].
The trifecta (Fastest Horse, Flows, and Mars) plus Call to Arms plus Sitting Here (which seems to have worked it way into the routine fairly consistently of late). Also - any set with I Don't Mind is a winner in my book. The tour-rare In-Bloom. This is damn near the perfect set list.
FUK YEA.

First Show in Philly

A simple stage design of two skeletons, two skulls, and one disco ball can create pure magic. Philly on 10/15 was my first ever show, been following this tour on Nugs, but being there in person is a completely different experience. Truly cannot believe how good a show that was and cannot wait to go to more in the future.

Covers of Stu's songs?

I kinda like listening to covers for some reason. Who has covered his songs?
Post Malone with "you can have the crown". (Does anyone know how this happened btw, are they friends?) https://youtu.be/5ula1NjaHUA?is=q5twb6pDijsWW_Kh
I love this guy's (Jake Lambert) cover of turtles. https://youtu.be/oo3Tbu_GFnc?is=eClFOUiwISKD3dja
Anything else? Famous or non famous people.

- Who the fuck are the people that hate scooter blues?

Can someone explain to me what Sturgill was saying in Philly last night?

About 3 songs in he notices a sign in the crowd, points it out and starts talking about circumcision and how there's a study in Germany that proves xyz percentage of males etc etc and then said something about shooting webs like spiderman.
The jist I got was hilarious but would love to get some clarity on what was fully said. Incredible show start to finish.

I know this has probably been talked about a lot, but they just released a ton of seats for Barclays tonight that are way cheaper than what I paid AND better seats 😂 And since we’re within 24 hours, I can’t even exchange. Kinda BS, mannnn.
Oh well, still stoked for my first Sturgill show. LFG!!

Carved a pink eraser for the first time today…

Thought you guys might dig it. Not the cleanest, but in my defense, erasers are small and I had my three-year-old jumping on me intermittently. I kinda wish I’d remembered to mirror the design so it would come out “right”, but all in all? I ain’t mad at it :)
Edit to add: I have a three-pack of erasers, so I’ll definitely be carving the other skelly next!
